I just bought a house and moved in 4 days ago. I had issues with the garage door and long story short the wheels came off the track and the spring broke in half. I called the number that was on the wall of my garage and they came within 2 hours. I can’t remember the guy’s name, I think it was John. He explained to me what happened and gave me an estimate of 600 bucks. I had done my research online before he came and that’s what I was expecting. He got there exactly at 12 and left at 1:47. So far everything is working fine and I hope I don’t have any issues again. Overall the job was done is a fast manner, I’m not too happy about the price but hey I needed my door fixed and they came right away. The guy did a good job and he was very nice.

The springs on our garage door broke on December 27, 2015. The company did a great job when you changed my father in-law’s garage door. So we called the company expecting the same great results. The company technician, Jon came to fix the springs. Although the technician showed us what had been done, as soon as he left we started to have problems. We noticed that when the door would close it would not go all the way down which left a gap between the door and the ground. Also, upon closer inspection of the springs we found that two different size springs were used. On January 25, when closing the garage door, the door fell out of its frame. I was terrified by what just happened. Luckily, neither I nor any cars were damaged, but the bottom edges of door were damaged. To avoid the service fee $ 89.00 from the company, both my husband and I lost work time trying to put the door and rollers back in its track so we could close the garage for security reason. When the technician, Jon came on January 26 to fix the problem, he claimed that the bearings needed to be change and we had to pay $ 200. We were surprised that he did not mention any of this in December. Due to the fact that I had to go work at the time, we had no choice but to accept his assessment. While he changed the bearings and rollers, he also put in another spring which was even smaller than the one before. The most disturbing aspect of his work, he did not list that on the receipt. In the end the garage door had an even bigger gap than in December.
We were so discouraged by the way Jon destroyed our garage door and made the problem even worse. We have been dealing with this problem for over a month and were at our wits end at what to do. We decided we would give the company one more chance but requested the company send another technician. However, after we talked to the company, we received a call from Jon asking for another chance to fix his mistake. We could tell by the conversation that he knew he had not done a good job. We don’t know if he didn’t know what he was doing or he did it purposely to get more calls and repairs.
Finally the company sent another technician, Joseph, on January 28. He stated that the springs that Jon had replaced were not standard size for a double door. He replaced them and with any luck this will be the end of our problems.
My husband and I think that the service we received was sub-​standard. We feel that we were taken advantage of because of the situation and our ethnic background and were overcharged for the services rendered. We would like to see the company remedy this situation.

They came right out which was nice. I needed an extra garage door opener as my daughter started driving her own car. 65.00 for a new garage door opener and 85.00 for a service call that took 2 minutes. That is insane. Tells me if I fill out a Unilocal review they would send me 25.00 gift card. Didn’t say it had to be a good review.

Quick turnaround time, John the tech was there approximately 3 hours after I called. I was expecting a bill between 89 and 245 dollars for the spring as per their phone quote. John advised rollers and bearings were worn out too so final price was 425.00. We discussed 2 year warranty. About double the price I was expecting but if we get another 10 years out of that door it’s worth it.

It was a Sunday and our garage door coil broke. We called at 12:30 and Jason arrived shortly after. He went over what needed to be replaced and quickly repaired the garage door. Jason was very professional and explained the cost and what needed to be replaced and the warranty on the replacement part. I highly recommend them and for my garage needs in future, will use them again!

They were quick to come out and did a great job and fast. It is terribly inconvenient to realize you can’t get out of your garage and go to work. It was really appreciated to have my technician come out so soon and move quickly. He was very thorough and explained things to me very well.

I live in Carefree and had a garage door issue that required immediate action. I called two other companies: the first came quickly, but proposed three options that were WAY expensive. The second company didn’t show up on time, and after 3.5 hours of waiting I called to cancel. They never even asked why or if they could do anything for me. I Googled services for the Cave Creek area and found this one. Boy, am I glad I did! They turned up an hour later and installed a new opener at a reasonable cost. Jason was professional and cheerful and efficient. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing service. Thank you!

I was referred to Neighborhood Garage by a friend who had a great experience with them. I called after 5 on a Friday night and they were here by 9am on a Sat morning. Erich came to fix our garage door. He was very polite and honest. He told us what needed to be fixed and what could wait. I appreciated his honesty. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

This is a really good company. Erich was the technician who took care of our garage door. Turned out our garage opener motor had outlived it’s expected lifetime by five years, so we needed to replace it. Erich had the equipment with him and replaced it while he was here – no rescheduling necessary. This company serviced the door for a spring problem last February and the work has held up as expected. Highly recommend!
