overall was great. i have a comment about the packers. All the packers were great and handled our things with care EXCEPT for the guy named Steve. he worked harder on not working then anything else. He missed an entire set of drawers because he was trying to get out of work and too busy using our microwave to heat his lunch.

While I did most of the packing, Bekins picked up and stored my packed belongings and furniture in their Phoenix warehouse. A few months later, Bekins packed and moved my parents belongings and furniture. Several times in the past year, I’ve requested additional pieces of furniture be picked up and placed in storage with my other belongings. I’ve always received prompt, courteous and professional service. These were just local moves with storage but everything has always gone smoothly.

Really unfortunate that the are some big hiccups with this company. With the multiple challenges in communicating — rudeness. I would say try another moving company and save yourself the headache. Movers were nice except one talked on the phone to multiple people while moving my stuff. I guess his personal life is more important than his job. Took them 4 hours to move a 1 bedroom. (please note, I have moved 4 other times and the professional movers took 2 hours each time). Date of arrival of belongings were moved causing me to pay out $ 200 in fees to other companies. Missing box of personal pictures, which they wont look for and they broke the dresser leg on a brand new bedroom set which fell tonight across the wall and on my knee. Personally, I say try anyone else. If you do use Bekins after reading this, you were warned. Good luck

A horrific experience. RUN.
We moved across states, from Arizona to Colorado. We have a 4 year old and 1 year old twins. When the sales person from Bekins came over to my house to give us an estimate he gave me a delivery window from the 4^th of September to the 8^th of September. He guaranteed up and down, left and right that the stuff will not be later than the 8^th! Based on this information and also based on the confirmation phone call that was assuring us once again — the stuff will be delivered on the 8^th — we took our kids on a 3 day road trip from Arizona to our new home state. Mind you again — 3 babies under the age of 4!
All of that did not matter to Bekins when they decided to push our delivery to the 15^th of September because «a driver did not show up» and this is a direct quote. We had no money left to spend on a week in a hotel. We had to move into an empty house and sleep on the floor with our babies. No matter how much we bagged them to offer us any other solution — Bekins did not care what so ever about our situation. They just told us to sleep in a hotel.
We feel that we were treated poorly by the company and that no one cared about our family and our situation. I will never use this company again and will never recommend you use them.
