Maricopa Integrated Health System

MIHS is the HMO that MERITAS health insurance uses. I took this plan under Obamacare and the healthcare marketplace because it wasn’t expensive and I couldn’t afford anything else. My advice to anyone looking at this plan is that if you can afford anything else take it and run. The facilities at MIHS are slammed with patients, doctors and nurse practitioners are overworked. This is the worst example of socialized Healthcare that anyone can ever imagine. I am in reasonably good health but I see people in MIHS waiting rooms in terrible health waiting to see doctors and nurse practitioners under pressure. This is the nightmare that everyone’s talking about and I’m really sad to see it because I’m a big fan of Obamacare

Arrogant, sloppy, condescending, unintelligent, and unkind are all words that can be applied to NP Evette Campos. I went to this clinic over a year ago during a time in which I was having difficulty getting adequate interest in my symptoms from my physician at 1^st Care Family Medical. I was referred here, and was hopeful. Mind you, this was the beginning of what was to become my chronic illness, so I was still pretty naïve. But the results were darn near the same as the first incompetent, disinterested doctor. I see now, from the state insurance side of the fence, what a shame it really is – the discrepancy between private and public insured and the difference in quality of care with with they are treated.
Stay far, far away from this place. I found Phoenix Medical Group, and have made great strides in uncovering the causes for my pain and other symptoms.
