Horrible customer service by a staff that acted as if they were better than their clients. Still looking for a good cigar bar in the area.

Overpriced. I paid $ 39 for 2 glasses if wine a drink a whisky sour. I asked for a price list and the bartender said they didn’t have one. I’m not a cheap person and I don’t mind paying for good food or great drinks, but I like to know what im ordering and what to expect when my check comes. I also would like to know what type of wine they have. I like to read descriptions and recommendations. I found it odd there was no menu and I wasn’t happy about paying $ 39 for a total of 3 drinks. Where do they think they are? Those are Los Angeles and New York prices. I feel ripped off! Never going back.

I debated a long time over 4 or 5 stars. Definitely 5 star atmosphere, service, and selection of cigars and libations. My hesitation was over price. In the end I decided the experience was worth the money, even though I felt like I maybe spent more than I wanted to. Figure 25 – 30 dollars for a beer on tap, a medium-priced cigar, and a tip. Or, figure 25 – 30 dollars for two hours in good company enjoying an excellent beer, a really good cigar, and great atmosphere. Definitely will return and bring more friends.

I have hesitated for months to talk about how much I love this place, or Mr. Charlie(best connoisseur EVER). My hesitation comes from pure selfishness. I don’t want anyone to come explore this awesomeness because I want to keep it all for myself. Bottom line, the people that work here are wonderful, the drinks are amazing, the experience is one of a kind.

Place sucks! First time ever in my life that they deny giving you drinks because we had two beers! I drove from very far to try out some beers they advertised and it was the worst experience! They advertise all the beers and they had only bottles and overpriced!!!

Visiting from Denver for a little vacation and some golf with the wife. Unbelievable liquor selection… and excellent cigar choices as well! Customer service was the best I’ve ever had at any cigar lounge I’ve been to, hands down. Please come to Denver and open a Magnum’s there!

I love the friendliness of the staff, the selection of tobacco and alcohols, and the quality of service. Sometimes a little slow to get the bill, but when you are in good company, it’s not too bad.

Well hidden secret in Strip Mall. Abundant parking and great staff ! Huge selection of drinks and smokes. Would have given 5 stars but no Papas Pilar(Ernest Hemingway would be so very disappointed) ??? Coming back to AZ and Magnum next week-end, surprise me !!! The Prichard’s Private stock was a surprise find and Yamasaki 12 year malt were a nice substitute but show a little love for your Rum drinkers: 1 bottle of Papas Pilar PLEASE !!

We just witnessed the bartender put a straw in a customers drink while making it, taste it, then put the straw back in the drink and serve it. Real special!

Awesome place to hang out. Coming from out of town it was nice to find a place with a great selection of cigars and a laid back place to smoke it. I’m not a drinker so I had tea with my cigar and it actually paired nice with my Opus X. They had a blanket for my wife since it was cool inside. Awesome customer service and attention to the customer’s needs. The cigars are competitively priced but the wine can be on the high side, FYI. We will definitely come back here when we come to the Phoenix area.

This is a great cigar bar. You would never imagine it’s as fancy as it is inside because it’s in a retail shopping center. When you walk in, the front of the lounge has different kinds of wines and a huge walk-in humidor. If you’re looking to just pick something up and move on, you definitely can. If you keep waking in, you find the cigar lounge. The lounge is a throwback to a different era. Lighting is dim, but the bar back gives off plenty of light through all the bottles of whiskey and bourbon available. This lounge would rival any lounge in Vegas. Comfortable chairs, a long marble top bar and a few couches are all there for you. Service was great. Russell was the bartender on my visit and he was awesome. Very attentive and made sure I had what I needed. This will be a regular spot of mine whenever I’m in Phoenix.

Friendly staff, great selection of both beers and harder spirits, huge selection of cigars and cigar accessories. its a little bit of drive to grab up a variety of pipe tobacco that my girlfriend says smells like Cocoa Puffs(Buttered Rum), however its worth it. The store is very clean and well stocked. If you are looking for the fix for your vice, whether it be alcohol, cigars, or pipe tobacco — this place is worth the time and effort.

It’s a quiet, they have a wide selection of spirits, wine, cider, and beer. If you want a bar where you can still smoke in, come on by! Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, dim lighting and comfy chairs.

This is by far one of my favorite places to go! The service is always on point. The atmosphere is amazing, come in pick out a cigar(which I always immediately get offered to hear about the latest and greatest ones by the knowledgable and friendly staff) Then make your way over to there craft beer taps that is always changing and fresh if you don’t want to choose from the huge selection of bottles, beer, whiskey, scotch, etc. Once you have your cigar and drink of choice walk into the lounge where the lighting is just right and relax and enjoy after a hard days work. If I could change one thing it would be that they offer some kind of food. The bowl of nut mix just doesn’t quite cut it for my extended visits. All and all still one of my favs.

Instead of exchanging gifts this year, Mr. M and I decided to go out and visit some businesses we’ve been wanting to and treat ourselves that way. The day after Christmas we had a great lunch at Tim Finnegan’s, and then I surprised him with a visit to Magnum’s. I had a feeling he would like this place. Right away when we walked in, there was a very friendly and helpful young man working the cash register on the store side. He explained the layout of the place and then told us he was available for any questions. You can buy bottled whiskeys of all kinds of varieties, Scotch, bourbons, Irish whiskys, other hard liquors, wines, cigars(in a large walk-in humidor), and then they have a long row of coolers that contain a fantastic selection of craft beer. If you’ve ever ogled the coolers at Papago, this is comparable. I was also struck by the nice aroma of fine tobacco. It wasn’t smoky at all, just smelled very pleasant. While Mr. M picked out a cigar I went in to check out the bar and find a seat. They have a beautifully designed bar with lighted shelving behind, low lighting, and nice wood furniture. I felt very comfortable immediately. The bartender offered me the drink menu right away. We usually lean towards trying some bourbons and when I mentioned that we’d never tried Four Roses before, he said that they make a special version just for them called Four Roses Magnum. Well, heck yeah… let’s give that a try. We both enjoyed that very much and then I had some Eagle Rare 10 yr while Mr. M tried the Blantons 15 yr. Initially he had ordered the Bulleit 10-yr, which was on the menu, and the bartender came back and said they must be out, but then said«Isn’t that regular Bulleit?» No it’s not. We have the economy size of regular Bulleit in our booze cabinet at home. When I mentioned that the menu specifies 10-yr he got pretty condescending and made a comment that«most bourbon is 10 years old». Whatever, Chief. I’m not going to argue with you. Bulleit 10-year is different from regular Bulleit. The place started to fill up as the afternoon went on and there were a couple of large tables of guys really keeping the bartenders hopping. We had 2 different bartenders who checked on us to make sure we were doing ok. We didn’t need to eat anything, but I asked if people were allowed to bring in outside food, and one of the bartenders told me that they have some menus for places that will deliver if anyone wants food. Another couple came in and sat at the bar and we had a nice conversation about bourbon and other tasty beverages. All in all we had a very nice time and it’s probably a good thing for us they are something like 40 miles away from our house. Definitely a spot worth checking out even if you are not a cigar smoker.
