Iris is a gifted and intuitive healer. She offers a variety of services from massage, Reiki, Cranial-​Sacral therapy, aromatherapy and others. She is very knowledgable of the human body and healing and can tune into what your body needs and draws from her many skills to determine the treatment. She is made for this work.

My mother-​in-​law is nearly 90. She is absolutely Old School and has 100% of my respect. When capable, Susie never rested until everyone was served and happy and her work was done. She’d shame me, all her children, grand and great-​grand children with her work ethic.
Her house, always spotless, swept daily inside and out. She walked daily too, usually a mile or more. The late Vincent Craig wrote a song about Susie and her co-​workers at the Indian School cafeteria. It was always a good laugh at his concerts.
The past 18 months have been hard on Susie. She fell in the garage fetching something off a shelf, breaking a hip. After hip replacement and therapy, she was up and walking. Not a mile plus, but often nearly a mile. Lately, her hip replacement leg has been cramping, making a woman who rarely cries, cry in pain, tears running down her cheeks. It is painful and hard to watch, standing by, not knowing what to do. The medical experts prescribe layers of pain prescriptions for day and night.
As W.H. Hutchinson used to say of Red, «Take a new bullet out every morning, bite it all day.»
Late Friday we called Iris. She got Mom a Saturday appointment.
We took Mom in, Iris did Mom’s background work, took her in the «Iris Room» and did what Iris does. Mom came out hobbling, still in pain. But she’d relaxed on the massage table, enjoying the treatment. Iris further recommended warm and cold packs to the painful thigh. Mom fell asleep in the car, we tucked her in at home, and she slept for several hours. On waking, the heat and cold were applied. Within two hours, Mom was the most pain free she’d been for weeks.
Thank you Iris. It’s great seeing Mom smiling and happy, at least for a while.
