Ordered a pizza which was tasty but a bit greasy. The service was fast, though, which is what I wanted from an airport place. Looked to be a broad selection of menu items. I’d definitely return if I travel through PHX.

I could have just gotten lucky, but I just seriously got the best damn burger and best fries I’ve ever eaten at an airport. What a pleasant surprise

Got the tortilla soup. Very good flavor. Temperature was fine for eating right away but probably wasn’t as hot as it is supposed to be.

Ordered the scrambled eggs, fruit, and toast. I should’ve know better. Crappy eggs, a hunk of not ripe pineapple, and cold dry toast. Not worth the almost $ 7. Learned my lesson… Upgraded to 3 stars because they reached out to me based on my review and seem to genuinely care. I appreciate their time and effort to improve.

Quick plane change at Phoenix and the closest food spot near Southwest was La Grande Orange. I didn’t eat that morning so I was pretty hungry but I didn’t want something terribly unhealthy because my friend and I had a big night out later that evening. There were so many choices here… do I get a sandwich? A wrap? Sushi? Pizza? Pastries(which looks super delicious?!?) Then I saw the«Zuni burrito» which pretty much looked like a healthy breakfast burrito. WOW! This was the best healthy breakfast burrito I ever had in my life! It had potatoes, tofu, greens, and great seasoning. I was pleasantly surprised with each bite. WOW! What a great highlight in my many stops in the Phoenix airport! Haha.

Yesterday I purchased a «brownie» from the café. It was not described any other way but simply«brownie». It was the most un-enjoyable brownie I’ve ever had. It’s kind of dry and chewy, with a strong alcohol flavor that’s not matched well with whatever chocolate they use. They also top it with salt, and the brownie is not sweet enough to counter the salt flavor. So what you basically end up with is an offensive bitter square with a boozy salty flavor. It’s not yummy and I would trash the recipe and start over. If I could get my money back I would.

Note to self: GOHERE the next time I’m peckish and waiting out a hellish Phoenix layover. La Grande Orange offers fresh food, lots of veggie options, and a friendly, efficient staff. There’s also great seating for people watching, and a fantastic beer list that offers various local choices.

First off, amazing orange juice. Though, if you messed that up and called yourself«The Big Orange,» full stop. Drop out now. No need to, though, because this tasted freshly squeezed with the perfect flavor and texture. The Zuni breakfast burrito I had was very good as well. Not mind blowing, but solid for airport food. Speaking of which, LGO is a great alternative to your typical airport fare. With a wide variety of menu items for virtually any time of day, this was a pleasant departure from most terminal grub.

One of the best restaurants in any airport in the U.S. La Grande Orange has a little bit of everything. I always make a beeline for this place, which is about 3 times a month. I am in love with their kale, quinoa salad! Their chickpea salad is also very good and extremely healthy. Their pizzas and sandwiches are also excellent choices. Their dessert options are something to admire; they offer mini ding dongs and also mini cookies for those of us that are watching our weight, but still want to indulge a little. The ingredients are always fresh and the prices are very reasonable. While there are other tasty options in PHX SkyHarbor Airport, nothing is as good as La Grande Orange.

La Grande Orange has a little bit of everything, giving you quality, freshly prepared dishes quickly and at reasonable prices. It’s compact but there are lots of different food stations. You can order breakfast sandwiches at one cashier, pizza at another, salads, sandwiches, cookies, juices and more. They have a modern menu with healthy choice options like Kale and Quinoa salads, Veggie Burgers, Chickpea Lettuce Wraps, along with all your more«normal» food items. Commuter Sandwich(Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, Tomato, Mayo, add Avocado on an English Muffin) — I was really impressed with the freshness of my breakfast sandwich. For the main item, I could have had bacon, ham, turkey, smoked salmon or avocado. I went with bacon and they only charged me an extra dollar to add avocado. I would totally order this again. They have so much stuff to choose from here that everyone in your party should be able to find something to eat for breakfast or lunch. If you are in a hurry, you can pick up food to go quickly here, or you can sit down and eat after you order and pay as it’s a fast casual spot. One of the guys working at the airport Starbucks suggested this place to me and I’m glad they did!

I had an hour before my flight and needed something to eat. This place looked quick. They have an extensive menu so there will hopefully be something you’ll like. I got the guacamole BLT. What a perfect combination of flavors and textures; e.g. –the crispiness of the bacon and the toasted bread –the freshness of the lettuce and tomatoes –and dat powerful punch from the holy guacamole Not a bad choice for eating at the airport.

I come by PHX often and it’s nice that Southwest terminal has lots of food options. Line is always long but service is fast and friendly. I always get great pastries and their honey latte is to die for. I went in for lunch today, had their tortilla soup which was very fresh and had chunks of chicken and avocado. I also ordered their tuna Niçoise salad which was ok. When it comes to tuna Niçoise I have a very particular idea in my head and this is more Americanized Niçoise salad. The tuna was way too sweet with raisins in it. Big chunks though which was great. Not a big fan but the salad was fresh and the hard boiled egg was perfectly cooked. The dressing was light and just had the right tanginess. Had the tuna been lemon based, it would be perfect. I’m still a fan and will come by this place whenever I’m in the Terminal D.

This place had tons of on the go options! I bought a pre made turkey sandwich and it was super yummy. They also have tables with plugs which is nice! Friendly staff and great airport food!

I want to thank the LGO management team for stepping up to correct the situation and making sure that things were taken care of in the kitchen at LGOPHX. I’ll stop by again during my next trip to PHX. It’s rare to see management actually read and respond to Unilocal review — way to go LGO!

One of the better restaurant options in the entire Airport. The pizza is thin crust and very very yummy. I wouldnt be able to tell that my pizza came from an airport restaurant. Will be coming back here during my PHX layovers.

I was in Phoenix for the day on business and landed around breakfast time, feeling a bit famished(the peanuts on my two-hour Sourhwest flight from Oakland were a bit inadequate). A quick glance at my Unilocal app while standing in front of the first restaurant I came across — La Grande Orange — happily revealed that the very same establishment came highly recommended! «What luck,» I thought to myself. I ordered a Zuni Burrito off the breakfast options helpfully put up on a board behind the counter, and waited about 10 minutes for my food, eagerly anticipating the tofu«chorizo» and charred tomato salsa(among other things like mushrooms, corn, potatoes, egg whites and spinach) my Zuni was meant to be filled with. I opened up my burrito and the wrapper came apart. I have never had a burrito be served to me so badly wrapped. Never. Re-wrapping it up myself, I took my first bite, getting huge chunks of potato and bland tofu, but little else. This continued as I worked my way through this sorry excuse for a breakfast burrito, vainly searching for all the ingredients which were promised, letting out small grunts of satisfaction when I found a kernel of corn or a bit of spinach or mushroom. But it was mostly a mass of potato and tofu. Filling, yes. Tasty, no. So if you decide to breakfast here, do yourself a favor and order something else. Not the Zuni Burrito.

Snagging a meal before a flight can often be a pain, because the food is often overpriced, low-quality or both. Luckily, La Grande Orange offers a variety of pizzas, salads, and sandwiches at(relatively) reasonable prices. I grabbed a kale salad between flights, and it was pretty good! The pizza also looked quite tasty, but takes more time because you have to wait for it to bake. There is a fair amount of seating, which makes this place a particularly convenient stop if you have a Phoenix layover.

I was quite impressed with this ‘Airport Restaurant’. I never would expect anything more than 3 stars during a layover. We had a 4 hour flight and when we landed at our layover in Phoenix, we were starving. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a go, seeing how crowded it was. There were plenty of other restaurants but I was sure this was the one. We tried the California Burger, the breakfast burrito called the Zuni Burrito and lastly, the chocolate chip cookie with sea salt. The California burger was perfect. The fries it came with were nice too. The burrito however was just average. It was a bit flavorless actually. I thought the hot sauce they provided with it would add more flavor, but sadly that was not the case. And the chocolate chip cookie was massive and amazing. I wish I could have one right now!

Best airport food ever located in the D Gates for Southwest. If you have time, it’s worth the walk. I’ve been to the La Grande Orange restaurant in Pasadena and it was amazing. This airport version was just as good. The Kale and Quinoa Salad is sooooooo good! And their juices are fresh too! Couldn’t say anything more awesome. The service was quick and friendly.

Pizza usually takes 10 – 15 mins to make but it’s fresh & hot. Love the kale salad and gotta order an mini AtoZ cookie for dessert! I love that this is location in Terminal D at Sky Harbor. There are always lines here so if you’re in a rush to connect to your flight, watch out. It could take 10 – 15 minutes since most items are made to order. The grapefruit sunrise bevy is fresh and tart. But the small is a bit pricey for $ 3.00.
