Knowledge Is Power

I want to make this clear, I’m a nurse, and I’ve worked in the health care field for over 12 years. i don’t ever post reviews or comment on any websites. However in this case, I HAVE TO. The «office» address 17 221 N.43^rd st. is A HOUSE ADDRESS. When i set up the appointment his «Manager never said to me anything about the «office» being in a house and didn’t call me back for days to verify my insurance. No one picks up the phone if you call, you can’t leave a message because the voicemail if full, come to find out that he didn’t take insurance, he charged $ 250. when i got to the house Dr. Sosa-​Roche opened the door for me and there was a patient there. he told me to go Upstairs and have a seat?!! He was seeing his patient in the kitchen area, i was able to hear EVERYTHING, i mean EVERYTHING from family issues to what he prescribed her. He had 2 dogs barking in his backyard. when it was my turn to see him (in the kitchen area), he kept getting calls from patients on his cell phone, he was angry at the patient, was yelling. He got at least 5 calls during my session. Dr. Sosa has a very thick Hispanic accent, i was not able to communicate with him properly, his speech was slurred, he seemed almost like he was High or medicated or something. He had little to no hygiene, his black pants had big white spots on them. his house reeked with urine odor (which is a Health Code Violation, I couldn’t breath it was so bad), come to find out that he has 2 cats locked in a room «somewhere» he said. He kept talking about Jesus, and mini dogs, tigers, and cloning, kept talking about random things, that were not related to the reason of my visit. he had people’s medical records wide open on his small round table in between him and I (Which is a huge HIPPA violation) he had prescription pads on the table and not locked somewhere safe. the whole time i was there i was in complete and utter shock of his behavior, i couldn’t believe it. I will never go back to see this doctor again, i will make sure that the medical board finds out about this because, In my professional opinion Dr. Sosa is NOT fit to practice medicine at all. the medical board suspended his medical license for Opioid Abuse before, it’s on the medical board’s website, which i unfortunately checked after my visit.
