Kids Kare Pediatrics

WARNING!!! UNETHICAL PRACTICE!!!
I moved to the area last year and so we decided to look into a Pediatrician that was close to home and my husband works for our Insurance company so he made sure that this office was in their network. Within our insurance policy all wellness checks and vaccines are covered and when we went to the office for all 3 of our kids check ups they would repeatedly ask if there was «anything wrong with the kids». Red flag number one because the well check is free and covered but any sick visits are charged for, my husband knows this so he very clearly said no at least seven times to the medical assistants in the place.
Then, as the doctor, who is not Dr. Lopez but some woman was very pushy and judgmental and I did not like her care for them red flag number two.
A couple months later my husbands co-​worker emailed my husband saying that they were trying to bill our insurance company for services we never received so they had to send back their paperwork at least four times telling them they will not approve the charges, red flag number three!
Now, a year later they want to send my family a bill for over 1,000.00 for their vaccines when the vaccines are preventative care and are of course included in our insurance claim Red flag number four!
This is usually done to try and make the unsuspecting person pay for services they think is not covered by insurance and the insurance company covers so they will be paid twice. I am grateful that my husband works in the insurance business and knows how things really are because this Ped. office is absolutely disgusting how unprofessional and sleezy they are.
