My engagement ring was purchased here. I brought it back because one of the side stones fell out(this is the second time). I told them I was leaving for a trip in 2 weeks and that I really need my ring back by then. They said they would send it out for repair, but the«promise date» was a whole 3 weeks away. Seriously? For one stone to be replaced? They said they would put a rush on the order. I called back 2 weeks in, the day before I had to leave. I was told it was not in, and that I should not expect it before the promised date. It did not show up until the latest date possible, a whole 3 weeks later. So much for a rush order. Obviously that is something they say to customers to keep them happy even though its a load of crap. Thanks, Kay for making me go a whole 3 weeks without my ring for the second time. I should add I’ve only had this ring for 5 months, so it’s been gone for 2 out of 5 months. I am very gentle on my jewelry. I do not wear it when doing dishes, cleaning, at work, etc. There is no excuse for this. I’ll buy somewhere else next time.

Sadly my experience was less than enjoyable. My fiancé purchased my ring at this location and being that it’s the closest one to my house I took it there to get it sized. While taking it in for sizing I figured I’d look at wedding bands as well. I showed them a picture of a ring and said this is what he likes. The sales rep Sarah said it had to be custom and she needed to get Brittany involved. So me not knowing this industry said okay. They quoted me 3000, not including taxes and my warranty(which Brittany only told me after I had swiped my card). To put this in perspective I had the diamonds I wanted placed in the ring, all I needed was the band and it was still 3000. So after making the purchase I went home and started researching, calling other Kay stores and Kay customer support and every person I spoke to said this was not the case. They do have bands which can have diamonds placed in them for under 3000. I went to the store to cancel my order and they tried everything in the book not to cancel. Even calling their district manager and grilling me about who I spoke to at the other locations. I felt like I was on NCIS. so after I said I want to just cancel. This is larger than it should be, they tried telling me my deposit for a wax mold was non refundable but everything else was. Little did they know I already spoke to Kay customer service and they told me everything was refundable and there shouldn’t be any problems. Needless to say, unless you know EXACTLY what you want stay away and save the stress.

And took a mont … And my surprise they did a horrible job. They just focus to fix one stone and the others beside get mess up… Look like a kid 3 years old did it. Horrible

I’m giving this location 5 stars because it is the ONLY Kay jewelers location I’ve been to that actually provides decent customer service. Their manager Nancy is wonderful and goes out of her way to make sure the customer is happy. It can get a little chaotic with the children’s center right infront so be prepared for a little noise but it’s completely worth it. I had my engagement ring resized at the arrowhead location and during the process I noticed the stone looked like it had been fractured and the gold on the band was noticeably thinner and they basically told me I could take it or leave it. I brought the same ring in months later to the PV store and addressed my concerns, Nancy cleaned it and throughly looked at it and let me know that it wasn’t fractured but since I wasn’t happy with it she could re-order me a different ring. I didn’t even need to fight to ask for it like I so frustratingly did at arrowhead. She called me to follow up about reorder the next day. Also, generally it does take a month or longer for resizing but you’ll get that at any major jeweler and especially during peak seasons. My advice– don’t even bother going to other Kay stores, especially not the Arrowhead one.

Kay Jewelers takes one month to get a simple man’s wedding band. They take two weeks to see if the manufacturer has it and two more weeks to order it. Zales does the same thing in thirty minutes. Both are located in the Paradise Valley Mall.

My fiancé bought me a ring from here. We had to have it sized and when we got it back they polished the finish off, and for some reason didn’t refinish it. It didn’t even look like our ring! We were told they could just re-add the finish, so we left it again for more work. Again we got it back and this time it looked better, but still had problems with the finishing. We now have a brand new ring(which was never worn) that looks like it was used. Poor poor poor craftsmanship done here. Lost our confidence to ever consider future business with Kay. Save your time and money and look elsewhere.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this Kay store recently, and I had a great experience. They had a low pressure environment and I found what I wanted with the help of the staff, not the item with the largest price tag. Plan on returning in the future to get another watch. Thanks guys.

Rude staff. Upon arrival I noticed three employees with unhappy looks on their faces and immediately thought to myself this is not going to be a pleasant experience. To my surprise I was greeted by one of the staff while the others ignored me. You have to imagine this is a small store and everyone is with in talking distance to each other. I told the staff that greeted me that I was here for my 6months checkup of the two purchases I made within the year. I was then asked if I had brought my paperwork with me. I replied that I did not bring any paperwork with me and asked if my information could be found with a name search. The staff member seemed irritated and said she could run a search but data isn’t always found. She continues to ask me when I made the purchase I replied within the past 6months. Then a 2nd employee interrupts and pretty much scolded me and said«you should always bring paperwork with you.» I replied that I was told paperwork wasn’t necessary when I first made the purchase. Then the 3rd employee says in a snarky tone, «I believe it says in the paperwork to bring the paperwork. I reply again that I was told paperwork wasn’t necessary upon purchase. Overall I felt like I was being attacked by the employees of Kay jewelers. As most people would say if you are unhappy with your job then find another one. Those employees give Kay jewelers a bad rep and I would think twice about returning for future purchases.

Stopped in while engagement ring shopping with my fiancée’s sister. Was greeted buy a guy with lots of unsightly tattoos and big hoops in his ear, not exactly the type of person to sell jewelry but I kept an open mind. We asked to see a couple rings and their price, he slid a catalog toward us and said«they’re all in there». He then walked away and talked on his cell phone behind the counter toward the back. He ignored us from there. I was ready to drop thousands on a ring but couldn’t get the time of day. On the way out, a lady asked if we had been helped. It’s a small shop, so the service was so bad they didn’t even realize someone had helped us. I said«sort of» and just walked out. The staff should be ashamed of their behavior.
