As good as it gets. Excellent service. They through samples at you without asking. Plenty of options.

The girls there are the nicest people imaginable. You can try any flavor you like. Best sorbet/ice cream/etc place in Phoenix. Must go.

$ 3.67 small, $ 4.59 medium, $ 5.45 large Amanda with the cat eye glasses is probably the most enthusiastic gelato employee ever!!! We arrived in the middle of the day on a weekday and the place was crowded. Every flavor we tried was delicious and incredibly smooth. Probably one of the best gelaterias I’ve tried. They had a few flavors here that I haven’t seen anywhere else. The toasted marshmallow flavor was really sugary but still delicious. The displays are beautiful and it was nice to be served by someone who was so upbeat and sweet.

My husband and I have patronized Frost since the day it opened. We loved it so much we wanted to share the experience with our out of town wedding guests for our daughter’s wedding. I spent over $ 50 for gift cards for one scoop of gelato as part of their hotel welcome box. We encouraged our guests to treat themselves and try it out. Upon purchase of the gift cards, it was never mentioned BEWARE: THISISGOODFORONESCOOPANDONESCOOPONLY! Don’t even think Frost will apply the credit amount of this card to ANYTHINGBUTONESCOOP. Imagine our embarrassment when a few of our guests mentioned their card was not welcome or redeemed at check out because… wait for it… they had the nerve to order TWO scoops!!! They were expecting, of course, to pay the difference and explore another flavor. Our guests pocketed the card and paid for the treat themselves. Having worked in customer relations, food service and retail many many years, I called the manager, Doug, and explained our situation. I told him we were frequent patrons(WERE being the operative word here) and could he offer any recourse to this embarrassing situation. He was less than professional, offered no solution and, quite frankly, could not have cared less. Because of his arrogant attitude obvious lack of pride in his job, we are saying bye bye to Frost. Your unprofessionalism cost you a very large family of patrons — and Doug, I know you don’t care. There are too many other wonderful gelato places who care about customer satisfaction and their feedback.

Solid three star experience but 4 stars for service. The service is fast and friendly. The Gelato isn’t much to rave over but the raw ingredients made the trip worth it. The chocolate chip flavor was very good, and the bitter after taste went well with the sweet flavor Is come back here again. Just not any time soon.

One of the best gelato places I’ve been to. Love the almond and pistachio flavors. Enjoying the pineapple sorbet at the moment. Super refreshing without too much sugar. Love it!

Frost is one of those places that rightfully deserves all of the hype surrounding it. It’s just as good as everyone claims, putting surrounding places to complete shame in terms of their gelato quality. So many of their flavors are just dead-on delicious, including salted caramel, honey, espresso chip, and even bubblegum(don’t judge!). There’s a wide variety of choices, including some seasonal exclusives that the staff will be more than happy to describe to you. I really like that you can try multiple flavors, without having to purchase multiple cups in order to do so. Despite their claims that it’s less harsh than ice cream, I wouldn’t pat yourself on the back and pretend that you’re eating«healthy.» It might not be as heavy on the stomach, but it’s still dangerously addicting enough to where I’m glad I don’t live anywhere near this establishment. Yes, they have free samples, but lines here can sometimes get congested at the counter, so I suggest sticking to the unwritten sample etiquette of only trying a few flavors before making a decision. I prefer Biltmore over their other location in Gilbert. While this particular location seems to do a good amount of business, it’s absolutely nothing compared to the one in Gilbert, with lines so long that I often wonder if they’re lacing their recipe with traces of cocaine. Nothing compares!

Seriously, this Gelato is amazing and is half the calories… a guilty pleasure that you don’t feel so guilty about. I wanted to try somewhere new and had heard this was a top rated ice cream shop. When we arrived, I could tell it was so by the line that went around the corner. I decided to tough it out and I am glad we did. There were samples of some seasonal flavors as we waited in line, nice touch. When we finally got to the front I got a chocolate peanut butter combo and it was amazing!!! Al the displays were so pretty and well thought out to show what flavors they were. The inside is very small so if your looking for a spot to hang, this is not the place. For a good treat and an awesome memory, hit up Frost.

Went in for dessert last night had the weirdest experience. A big thank you to the ladies who helped us out last night I was so very taken aback. I have not had such genuine nice service. I was seriously baffled. The gelato was delicious and the night was great. The service like I’ve said before was my highlight. Only little annoyance is the place has a lot of echo inside. Little bit of people in there talking makes it kinda noisy so we sat outside. Otherwise amazing place with delicious gelato and great service.

At first glance, it seemed like a standard gelato shop. Then you start seeing these«grown up» flavor combos. Pear and moscato? Sold! The flavors we sampled were deliciously good and the guy helping us out was bright and cheerful, despite the long line going out the front. The place was very clean and they have some tables out front to enjoy the treats.

Words can’t describe how much I love this place. All the flavors are amazing. My personal favorite is the stracciatella. You’re welcome. It’s clear that the gelato chef takes great care in not only the taste and creamy consistency of each flavor, but also in the presentation. This is some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve lived in cities with amazing ice cream(Bi-rite, Jeni’s, Molly Moon’s, Pappalecco, etc.). However, my go-to order is always the the sorbetini. They blend up to 3(4 for the large) flavors of sorbet with sparkling water. It is incredibly refreshing and tasty, especially on a warm Phoenix night. Some flavor combinations: Pineapple, blackberry, limoncello(Thanks Amanda for this rec) and strawberry, peach, lemon.

I was super excited to have tried Frost Gelato when I found it on the trusty Unilocal app. Located in the Biltmore Plaza close to Capital Grille on the Camelback side, Frost is just a breath of fresh air compared to the old Mojo Yogurt which occupied this space a couple years back. If you would like to park close to Frost, there is a parking lot next to it that offers free parking for 2 hours with validation. We parked in the other structure by Macy’s, which is a walk, but hey, it’s exercise! When we first caught a glimpse of Frost Gelato, all I kept thinking to myself was there is a line, it must be good! And yes, that mentality did not fail me. During the hot summer months, I can only imagine what the line must have been like. With this, you can sample flavors here to see if you like it before you decide on one or two. I had 3 samples, and from that I picked the Espresso Chip. It tasted just like coffee, but very rich and flavorful with delicious slivers of chocolate, and to top it off… a wafer stick cookie! Perfectly complimented the gelato and added a nice texture. The possibilities are endless here because there’s basically a flavor for any mood you’re in for. The small size(piccolini) was the perfect size post dinner for dessert. The décor is just gorgeous and the fact that it’s in the Biltmore makes it more appealing. We came at night and were able to get a seat inside. There’s also outside seating as well or you can stroll the shopping center while eating gelato if you would like. Please note the gelato here has less calories than ice cream which is advertised and you wonder why there’s a line. Overall, loved Frost Gelato and will come back again, highly recommended!

Such a delish treat on a hot AZ day! After having lunch a couple doors down at True Food Kitchen, my cousin and I took a peek inside Frost. Not really planning on getting anything initially… but we were greeted by this awesome guy and the gelatos were too beautiful to pass up! Unlimited samples by the way. I went with sea salt caramel and half lotus cookie. So good! They also have coffees and tables which is a nice touch. I started to read a magazine article on one of their gelato makers. a true Italian who worked in Italy making some of the best gelato! Didn’t get to finish reading it, but u could definitely taste the authenticity of the smooth & creamy gelato in each bite. I’ll be back in a couple days to try their sorbets. thx Frost!

I’m so glad I made room for dessert. My friend recommended Frost Gelato because he knew I didn’t want anything too sweet but needed something to help beat the desert heat. Frost is located in the Biltmore Shopping Center and the parking lot is free for 2hrs with a validation. I came on a Sunday night and there was no charge for parking. I love that they let you try as many flavors your heart desires. I was really tempted to try every single flavor but I was rather full from dinner so I only tried a few. The salted caramel seems to be quite popular and I’m not surprised. It’s definitely sweet, as caramel should be, but that light saltiness really creates a nice harmony. The lotus cookie tastes just like the cookie. The tiramisu has a strong rum and coffee flavor that they keep competing to dominate. It made my taste buds happy with all that attention. The bellini is so frikkin refreshing. It’s just icy and tango… makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The winner of the night, based moreso on mood than anything, was the stracciatella. Think of a super creamy chocolate chip ice scream with such fine pieces of chocolate chip. The service was impeccable. The portion was perfect and it was priced reasonably. I like that they throw in some rolled wafers to enjoy with your choice of gelato. I’m really impressed, especially with it being half the calories of a scoop of ice cream. It just makes the experience guilt-free :)

I’ve been bit! Bitten by Frost Gelato that is … After being hesitant at the high ratings and raves about Frost(I always take reviews with a grain of salt.) I finally got to try it first hand. Upon entering, we were greeted by the lovely manager(?) who introduced us to their product and let us know we had unlimited samples. She was informative and gave us recommendations on their most popular flavors. Many samples later Anthony decided on a fruity cup of sorbets and creamy flavors to go in a waffle cone. Each were topped with a pirouette cookie. Cup: Bellini & Pineapple Bellini– refreshing and light! Pineapple– like eating ripe pineapple, not artificial tasting or overly sweet, think lighter version of dolewhip Cone: Pistachio & Amaretto Pistachio– hands down the best Pistachio gelato I’ve had thus far Amaretto– sweet, warm flavored and nutty, we picked this and went well with the pistachio Service here is amazing, a bit pricey but the quality of the gelato and sorbet they provide is top notch. They even passed out water at the tables! What other gelato place does that? There is seating indoors and outdoors.
