Unprofessional! Immature! Unreliable! A-​Hole! Do not use!
I reach out to Eric for a quote & a meeting. He doesn’t follow up (OK he’s busy I get it), so I call & ask to meet at my home that day. He agrees. He texts me to say he would be at the house in 20 min. I txt back saying I was grabbing a quick take out lunch & would be back in 20 – 25. I’m driving back & he starts texting that he is leaving so I say fine. Then he called me & starts swearing & calling me names. Awesome. Have never seen a guys scream at a customer that he is trying to sell a job too. Unprofessional! Immature! Unreliable! A-​Hole!

I called First Class Coatings to get an estimate to have my 4 car garage floor professionally finished. The owner Eric came to my house and went over all of the options available his company offers. We agreed upon a price and he started work the next business day. His crew showed up on time and were extremely professional. They had a machine to grind down the concrete and cleaned up the entire area before applying the epoxy. The crew did an amazing job and the floors turned out perfect. I would highly recommend First Class Coatings as they are honest, reliable, and professional workers. I called several companies prior to choosing First Class Coatings and I am very happy I chose them to work on my floors. Some companies asked for a 50% deposit upfront while others said they were booked out for several weeks. Eric was great to work with and I felt that I could trust him. He didn’t ask for payment until all work was done and I was 100% satisfied. I will be calling Eric again soon to do some additional work for me in the near future.

I called Eric to ask questions about coating my garage floor. He took the time to explain the entire process as well as the different coverings that they offer. I called him back a few weeks later to get my new garage floor coated. We set up a time and a date and his guys where at my house on time and ready to work. They knocked out the first coat in just a short amount of time. Eric came back and applied the final coat after the first coat dried. The attention to detail that he provided and the quality of his work is amazing. I am so happy with my garage and would recommend Eric and First Class Coatings to anyone looking to get their garage floor done. I could not have asked for a better company and quality product.

First Class Coating did a beautiful job on my garage and workshop. Eric, the owner, has been doing this since 1990 and his experience shows in his recognition and handling of issues. Eric is totally hands-​on not just a salesman who just schedules a crew later. He inspects everything and often works shoulder to shoulder with his crew. His staff is very clean dressed, easy to speak with and they communicate easily and work efficiently.
In our attached 3-​car garage we had decorative chip epoxy. It came out beautiful & I love how classy our garage looks now. The coating is very nicely done with all details included including the stem walls hand sanded and the joints so they are smooth and easy to clean. We elected for the high film build for that extra shine in the garage floor.
Our workshop is a 30×40 metal building that my husband does auto restoration in. Eric recommended an epoxy primer, then a colored urethane coat & a clear urethane top coat for a solid color ultra protective coating system. This system resists fading and is easier to find dropped nuts and bolts on. His workshop looks like a professional shop now!
We had high winds the day of our final coat in the workshop which caused the urethane to set up too quickly and not develop a nice sheen. Eric saw this happening and stopped the coating in process as they were half way into coating the garage. He rang my door bell to explain what was happening, apologized and said he wanted it to be «Perfect». I did not see exactly what he was speaking of at first, but later I learned to trust in an experienced installer. They came back 5 am the next day when conditions were better, sanded the floor and applied the final coat. My husband was out of town and I would not have known better if they had just gone with the first application and left it as it was. Thanks Eric for doing the right thing!
