Yes the staff is nice and no there are not any smoker issues(smell, etc.) first impression of the rooms was fairly nice and made you think you got a lot for a little. HOWEVER! If you don’t like living in other people’s filth then I would not suggest staying here. To make the long list short, there were stains galore, the remote might give you a disease, not sure the bathroom would make you dirtier or cleaner, the kitchen will make you want to eat out at McDonalds, linens were sketchy, and I can keep going but I’ll save you the read. I cleaned the surfaces I was going to touch with baby wipes(not meant for your typical cleaning) of which turned black with next to no effort. I spent the last two nights in the middle of the forest in a tent and all I wanted was a nice clean relaxing place to take a shower and stay for my last night! I wish I never left my tent!

For $ 50/night this place was great! I was quite pleasantly surprised! Clean, full sized refrigerator, couple of burners in kitchenette., I’d definitely stay here again!

Covered parking is a neccesity in the Sonoran Desert(which they don’t have). I stayed here from 8 – 2011 — 8 – 2012. I loved living here.

This ESA is the worst I have stayed in and I have stayed at ALOT of them. The major fault is staff training. They overbook, they don’t communicate well and they are never around. The never around though goes for most ESA. They hide in the area to the left or right of the front counter. When I checked-in, I was told the only room left would be a Smoking room even tough I RESERVED a NON-Smoking. They over-booked. So it was 1st come. Nice way to start here. So for 3 days I stayed in a Smoking room. They gave me some ferbreeze, but it didn’t work. I had some air freshener, which did only slightly better. Getting out of that room was the only way to breathe better. After being at this hotel for over a month, housekeeping alerted the manager the room I was in had Bedbugs. I was set to leave in only 5 days. This happened on a Friday. I didn’t know about it until I returned from my day at work after 4:30 pm. The hotel didn’t bother calling my cell phone. Why do they even bother asking for a phone number at check-in(!?!). So I was told to wash all my clothes and anything fabric, like my suitcases, would be taken care of by the exterminator. Speaking of the exterminator, I was told they would take care of it on Monday. They didn’t show. I was told by the desk clerk on Friday she would keep me informed of suitcases. But it seems unless I ask, nobody communicates with me. So if you book a room at this hotel, better be here early in the day. And if you don’t want bedbugs, stay away from room 307. Let’s review: — Untrained staff. — Housekeeping is clueless when it comes to checking for bedbugs(they even trained new housekeepers while I was here). — If you don’t see a desk clerk, look behind counter either left or right. — If you like chocolate chip muffins, better get up early. At least the air conditioner worked here for my stay.

Not a comfortable stay. Dingy and dark, not well maintained(especially the electrical system, having loose outlets and partially functioning light switches). Bath linens inadequate for most uses. Bath in disrepair. TV service very limited, with no premium movie channels and no guide channel. Staff not able to make many corrections. Booked what was supposed to be a suite, and it was just a double bed room with a micro kitchen. No built in closet, just racks on the wall. Parking lot very cramped, with small spaces and every spaced filled even when the hotel was not. Too expensive for the service provided!

This page was hard to find because«stay america» is written as one word when it should be two. Regardless, hopefully others find this review despite the poor spelling of the name. I stayed here during cancer treatments. I rented a room for 10 days, got a rate of $ 40 per night for part of the stay and $ 50 per night for the rest. I was happy with the rate. The good: my room was clean, bathroom clean, bed linen clean, counters, dishes, fridge, microwave, all clean. But there were some things that this place skimps on. For starters, the bed is horribly uncomfortable. It’s very old and very stiff. So old in fact, the boxspring is falling apart — literally. The pillows smelled — funny; I ended up buying my own new pillows and putting theirs on the top of the closet along with the bedspread(I never use the spread in hotels.) The TV was a small 15 or 19″ old fashioned piece of junk, and the cable had something to be desired. They only offer 15 channels. 4 of which are ESPN and 4 of which are news. The rest are pretty much junk except the local channels and Showtime. The phone in the room was very old and dingy — I didn’t even want to touch it it was so yellowed, I got a non-smoking room, but could smell the smoke from the other rooms in my room at night. There is no closet with a door — the closet is an open space with 4 hangers in it, visible to the entire room. The pics on their website shows more cabinets(lower) and drawers than there really are. Silverware & utinsels are scarce. You get 2 spoons, 2 forks, 1 butter knife, 1 steak knife that doesn’t peel a potato, 1 plastic slotted spoon and 1 spatula. You get 1 pot and 1 fry pan, 1 dish cloth and 1 dish towel. No paper towels. You get 2 large plates, 2 small ones, 2 bowls, 2 coffee cups, 2 plastic drinking cups. You get two ice cube trays in the freezer, but the water tastes funny so I bought ice. I feel for the price, they should have a few more niceties — maybe more silverware, a few more cups, more linens,
