This is so frustrating. My search for a new cleaners took me to Delia’s because it is relatively close to home. Sad to say, I am still searching. I dropped off my clothes and was happy with the service from the attendant at the store. He gave me great information regarding when to pick up my clothes, how I could be notified, etc. So far, great. I arrived to pick up my clothes today, 13 items, and there they were. Unfortunately, I was overcharged on my credit card by the«computer» about $ 12. I told the attendant about what I thought was an error, and it was confirmed to me that the computer overcharged me. The solution was to file some kind of a correction with the company, they would review it, and let me know how they would handle it, which would take about a week. Really, there is no way to either credit my card on the spot or give me cash for the company’s computer error? The attendant was just doing her job, but seriously, who runs a business that doesn’t have the ability to correct an error on the spot, especially when it is obvious and confirmed that the company is in error? So… the bill was more than my current cleaners and the shirts were not even creased. What a mistake. Really, there are too many cleaners in the area to have this happen on my very first trip here. ***This is an update to my experience last week. I was called by Kristina from Delia’s, who offered to rectify the problem that resulted from my first trip to the cleaners. As we talked, it became apparent that my satisfaction was her biggest concern, which I appreciated. Not only did she make the situation more than right, but she placed a store credit on my account to be used the next time I go in. Based on my conversation with Kristina, I will visit the cleaners again.

My Groupon says«The amount paid for this voucher($ 10.00) with Delia’s Cleaners NEVEREXPIRES.» Apparently, the manager at this location has no idea what that means… smh…Another Delia’s mgr is trying to help out. We’ll see what happens :/I’m not holding my breath.

I wish there was a «0 Star» choice for this place. I took my wedding gown to Delia’s to get it cleaned and pressed for the big day. Their website offers special service for wedding gowns. When I picked it up and took it home, the hook above the zipper was missing!.. Also my dress had a detachable train so there was a little hook for that too and it was removed as well. My bridesmaids helped me improvise ways to secure the dress. I’d like to point out that this place is PRICY!.. On a previous occasion, I had a $ 25 groupon to use there and I took some suits in. The sales rep there quoted me over $ 10 for each item so the groupon didnt go very far. When I came back to pick it up, they wanted to charge me a higher price than agreed and I had to present my receipt. This happened with the wedding dress as well.
