Dr. David Cline works at the Sears Optical Department. I only chose Sears because they had a AAA discount, so my exam was only $ 45 including dilation. When I’ve had other exams in the past, they were pretty routine, but I really liked Dr. Cline because he explained what he was doing, as he was doing it. And he gave me very good explanations of how my eyes work. He also pointed out the difference between reading glasses and glasses that should be used with a computer(computer screens are usually about 2 feet away, and a book would not normally be held that far away). I feel like I got a really good eye exam. He has a really great personality too… I didn’t feel like I was just another patient being put through the mill. He smiles and takes a personal approach. When I did a search on the Sears web site, his name came up on several store locations, so I think he goes to different stores on different days. I went to the Sears store at Paradise Valley Mall for my exam, but he apparently also does exams at the other Sears stores on different days. Warmly recommended.
