Castle Megastore

Went to this store yesterday. While looking at an item, clerk (Asian female) asked if she could help, we said yes, how do you turn this off, she grabbed it, when we said we would like to know how (you know, it’s a demo and if we buy it we would need to know — no instructions available), she said what to do, turned it off and slammed it on the shelf. Hey, don’t ask if I need help if you are going to have as n attitude about it! There was entirely NO excuse for her attitude and she put a damper on what was a very nice evening! Won’t go back!

So I go into the store and I end up picking up the sensuelle partner ring and bring it up to the counter trying to pay for it with my card there POS machine would not take my card in fact it was charging my account and denying my card so after being on the phone with the bank for about half-​an-​hour I end up going to an ATM to get the money out and buy this partner ring she tested in the store and she apparently didn’t test it well enough because I’m sitting here with the partner ring that’s supposed to be charging it’s not charging it’s not turning on so I called the store they tell me even though it’s been an hour and a half or two hours they still will not take it back even though it’s fully defective and I mean I understand their policy because of biohazard and what not it doesn’t matter if a toy comes home with a person and it’s not working at all they should take it back so I will be talking with the supervisor and corporate and whoever else I need to because now I have to send it back to the company that owns the thing and pay to have it shipped back

We usually frequent Fascinations, but we decided to try something different and stop in to Castle. We are very glad we did!
Everyone was very cheerful and greeted us as we came in the door. We were asked if we needed help, but said we were just browsing. Later, when we were discussing some of the toys, Leonard overheard us and made some recommendations. We went with what he suggested and, fast-​forward a couple weeks, we’re glad we did! We will definitely be going back to this location.
The only downfall of Castle (vs. Fascinations) is that all locations lack presentation. However, our experience definitely overshadowed this.

I love Castle!
I was first taken to this store when I had just turned 21– a friend of mine wanted to get a new corset and thought it would be funny to take me to an adult store as I had never been to one, and was fairly prude to boot.
Of course for an adult-​store newbie there was a lot of blushing and giggling on my part but after the shock value wore off, I fell in love with the store. They had a great selection of cute lingerie (we went in October so there were some really cute costumes), and a knowledgeable staff which helped with being a beginner and all.

. They ship fast, everything is discreet, and they even send you nice little thank you cards which to me, is really cool :)
Defininetly a great store, all around. I would recommend this to seasoned adult-​store veterans or other newbies like me!

I can’t believe, I’m popping the review cherry for Castle! Don’t worry, I’ll be gentle.
My first time here, I was helping a newly divorced friend find her new B.O.B. (battery-​operated boyfriend). She was in her late 40s, I think, and we gave her a gift card to Castle for her birthday and weeks later, she called me for some «help.» It was awkward but I knew she needed a B.O.B. really bad.
She was definitely nervous and this is the kind of porn palace where its like baptism by fire. As soon as you walk in, there are toys ALL over the place. You feel awkward at first then you get used to it. No pun intended.
I showed her the wall of goodies. They have one in every size, color and shape. I was impressed by the collection, saw some that I might have to save up. There were some that scare my friend and some that looked like a promising B.O.B.
After she selected her tool, we headed over to the oils/​lubes. Again, another fantastic collection but they should probably categorize these from beginner to expert level, just as they should the B.O.B.s. It was confusing to her but we figured it out. She checked out and went home pronto. She was in much better spirits in the following days so I’m glad she found what she needed at Castle.
Seriously, it truly is a megastore. I could spend all day in here. There was a lot to see and if you’re open-​minded, comfortable with your sexuality and not a prude– Castle is the place to be. It’s not glamorized like some other novelty stores. It’s a no b.s., down n’ dirty kinda of place and I like it!
