Casey At the Bat

Kids played golf, laser tag! Celebrated a birthday. It’s old inside. Lots of things you could talk about but why? The kids had a great time. All 16. Inexpensive for sure. They should update the place.

It’s batting cages, putt-​putt golfing, and laser tag run by teenagers… from what we saw. Most of the pitching machines threw over the plate, but for sure one did not. Be prepared to jump or hit the concrete if you accidentally put your token in that machine. I was very disappointed with the putt-​putt golfing. It was very poorly lit and had a huge trip danger at the exit. The place didn’t look like it had been updated in many, many years, but slapped with a coat of paint for minimal improvement.
Go for the batting cages but avoid the costly putt-​putt.

I don’t know about all the other stuff but for batting practice this place rocks. It’s fairly inexpensive and the machines rarely have any problems and if they do there is always somebody there to fix it asap. The hours are great too.

Family owned and a great place! They have several leagues for people to play in and of course my favorite, the batting cages. Staff is super friendly. Love this place!

So i’m going to start out by saying I know we are in a recession and money is tight but this was the worst mini golf course that I have ever seen. I loved that when we walked in all the arcade games were shut off and didn’t work… probably because our round of mini golf only costed $ 12 for the 2 of us. We proceeded to the course which was a total joke. The turf was totally beat up, the staging and props looked condemned, and at one point I smelt something that resembled a dead body or animal. At one point I bet this was a nice place but the ponds that went thru the course were all dried up and not working and everything was a mess! It wasn’t enjoyable and we were very disappointed, Spend the extra couple dollars and go to crackerjax or castle n coasters.

I have been going to Casey At The Bat since I was 13 years old. I am now pushing 30.
It has changed an itsy bitsy, but really… it’s stayed the same in the last 15 years. Still the same old ratty nets for the batting cage… still the creaky pitching machines, still the same crappy doors that swing open into the main room with the snack area…
But you know what.
It’s home… and it’s not supposed to be glitzy…
It’s sports, silly. You’re supposed to get dirty!

If you’re in a ball-​hitting mood, come to Casey at the Bat. You can hit all the balls you could possibly dream of and you can choose the speed that they’re thrown at even.
If you’re a hockey fan, you can play roller hockey in their rink and they have video games inside.
I give it only three stars because I just really don’t think it’s all that fun. I mean, after awhile, hitting a bunch of balls gets old, right? RIGHT?
Well, it does for me.
And they just haven’t really kept up the place that well. It’s sorta dingy. But other than that, if you’re looking for something a little different to do, Casey’s is not a bad choice. The balls are waiting for you.
