British Speed Shop

Great wee shop, knowledgeable guy. You cannot please all of the people all of the time, but service with a smile is the name of the game… Passion wins every time!

I took my bike to British Speed Shop to have the once over and be resealed and have new gaskets put in. I was sent a list of parts ordered for my bike along with the cost of each part. I was billed for 2 rebuild kits for my carburetors, both of which never got rebuilt until the second time I had to take the bike back to Steve. The bike was in his garage, not shop, for a month! I had the bike back for a total of 2 days. Still leaked like crazy. I called Steve and told him that the bike was leaking and will not run. He picked up the bike and kept it for another month! This time he fixed the leaks, sort of. He rebuilt the carbs. Somehow it takes a month to do that. He does know his way around a British bike for an amateur. If you want your bike back to you sometime soon, don’t take it here! IF you ask about your bike progress he gets pissed off and posts on his facebook page about how stupid you are and that the bike is done on his schedule and not when you might need it back by. I will not recommend this place to anyone
