I like them because they carry Four Peaks, and the food is pretty good. Good atmosphere, but being right by ASUDPC, expect a younger crowd. Sort of a hipsterish place, or tries to be.

Pretty good pizza! We had the thai with jalapeño, what a good southwest twist! Good service, good food done.

Nice place in the Arizona Center. Full bar, pizzas and Italian food. The service was good, the waiter knew about the food and various beers and wines. Beautiful brick interior inside the mall. Mostly lunch and dinner place. We ordered the calzone special. Exactly what you want in a calzone; pepperoni, 3 cheeses, the marinara was not dripping everywhere. There was a nice amount of marinara dipping sauce on the side. I ordered a simple garden salad and it was not lettuce heavy– arugula and diced tomatoes and pomegranate seeds which I found to be a simple but a very nice touch. I had a nice Irish dark beer– can’t remember the name but it paired well with the calzone. The seating was comfortable– we decided to forgo a booth for a table. The lighting was good background music was fine. Moderately full for lunch time. There was a bar and a high-top bar. All-in-all pretty good

First timer to Brick. Place is very cute and«urban». Waitress was extremely nice but very new and had no clue what was on the menu or what they had behind the bar. All good though — been there before. Went with a group of 4. We got wings, artichoke dip and three pizzas and everything was horrid. Pizza had no taste and was burnt. Ingredents lacked very much. Many better places to eat in downtown phx than Brick.

Ummm first time here, party of four. This could be a really nice place and the pizza has potential. The waitress was very nice. However they didn’t have Pepsi, couldn’t make a Mimosa despite the full bar and their attempt a Bloody Mary, we’ll lets just say the waitress said«we will take that back»… And she promptly did. We had three pizza’s, spinach artichoke dip and wings all were subpar. Unfortunately won’t go back as there way too many to many places downtown who put love into their food. The appetizer plates were dirty as well, not a good experience.

The food was pretty great! The Phat Burger and Don’t Mess with the Classic are both delicious. As are the truffle fries! Their pizzas are pretty delicious as well. The Original Tart Flambee is a nice twist on pizza, with just the right savory sweet combination. However, our server was a complete jerk. He ignored me and and preferred to cater to my date and left his phone number on our receipt. I’m never returning again for such rude behavior again, which is a shame because the food was delicious the two previous times I had been there!

Mediocre pizza/bar restaurant with a generous lunch menu. The good: 1: good value for money. $ 15 for a lunch special + beer which included a calzone and house salad. 2: the house salad. tasty with pomegranate and avocado 3: big portion. i couldn’t finish the whole calzone(rare) The improvement areas: 1: kitchen was slow, even when the place was only at ¼ — 1⁄3 capacity. food took over 30 minutes to come out 2: service, while adequate, could be more attentive 3: there’s a sulfur like smell in the lounge area as you walk in. perhaps it’s not ‘their’ issue per se(could be the building in general) but quite off putting.

Let’s see– well this is not the worst place I have been to. I could not get over the sewer smell in here. It was bad. We waited a bit to be seated. Once we were seated we had a few minutes to look at the menu. Not bad. Then our waiter came with the waters. Gave us a few minutes then we ordered. We were not asked if we wanted something else to drink from the bar. Nada. So we stuck with the waters. We ordered pizza to share and a salad to share the waiter made it seem like the salad was going to be huge but it was small. Anyway Th pizza was like any other pizza. I was served a small sized pizza of a large price. The salad was good though. The service well could have been better he just was not that good and the food should have been worth the price. So 3 stars

The hostess noticed we didn’t have a waiter after about 15 – 20 minutes… and we never did get one. The manager checked on us and apparently made a decision not to assign one. Even as the place cleared out, the hostess was still doing her best to get us taken care of, but still… Half of my family’s food arrived at one point; the other waited another 20 minutes. They only got 2 stars because the food wasn’t terrible.

In a quest for the best margarita in Phoenix, my chain Mexican weary girlfriend and I stumbled in. To our delight Sean is a master mixologist/alchemist. The jalapeño margarita(off the menu) was liquid gold. The Bloody Mary was delightful. Sean made a grapefruit basil(off the menu) libation that made me forget every greyhound/salty dog I have ever had. Come and ask for Sean so that he may take his place amongst the pantheon of bartending deities.

Good beers in a great looking bar normally means sub par food. This pizza joint delivers great local brews and excellent pizzas. House Made sausage is amazing. Save room for Peach Cobbler. Really good! Service is great.

One of the more forgettable restaurants in the area. Nothing really stands out. When I come, I realize I’ve gotten myself into a «pizza or burger» situation. Both options are good. Service was good, food was good. There are a lot of places in the area I go to regularly instead.

We were told there would be a twenty minute wait, and it ended up being an hour and twenty. My drink had a fly in it, the lemons served still had their stickers on them, and when the pizza finally arrived, it was cold. It was as though they spent the entire hour and 20 cooling it down. Our food was served, however, none of us got any silverware, plates or napkins. We got it only after my friend(who ordered pasta) requested for his silverware. The place was rather empty. Some families left after waiting too long to be served. We weren’t in any rush, so we stayed longer. We were hungry and extremely frustrated. Prior to our food coming, we asked the manager for a discount and he gave us only 15%…and that was after talking twice to the manager about the service we received. For the price of the food, our service was awful. We were not informed properly about the wait time(there’s a big difference between 20 and 80 minutes) and we had to ask for even the smallest amenities like silverware and plates. I’m definitely not coming here again. Even though it is so close to where we live, my friends and I had a disappointing experience made worse by their apathy.

Literally the worst restaurant experience of my life. When you go out to a restaurant on a Saturday night with a few of your best friends, what do you want? Nice service, good food, a few fun conversations. What you don’t want is literally everything to be completely messed up with no compensation. That was my experience at Brick, and I am still steamed at what I encountered. So me and my two friends get there, and we are told that there is going to be a 20 minute wait, but that we can sit down. There was a good enough reason, there was a massive order of pizzas, and the kitchen needed to work on that. Despite being hungry, 20 minutes isn’t that bad to wait; I’ve waited longer. The waitress gave us waters as we waited, and the cup slowly became more and more empty as the time dragged on. However, one of my friends glasses did not get any more empty when she noticed that there had been a dead fly inside the whole time. Sure, it can happen, but it doesn’t look like the apple falls too far from the tree in this case. We report the fly; my friend gets a new(hopefully) fly-less water, as do me and the other friend I was with. There is no lemon in this drink, and I look to the lemons I had asked for earlier. The last of the three, as me and a friend had both taken one, had a sticker still on it. Again, it happens, and I wouldn’t be that angry in another situation, but what if that had been put in someone else’s water? That’s pretty damn gross, and just a lazy way of going about things. Again, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree of other occurrences on this pizza place from hell. I’m not sure how long we were waiting for the food, it was somewhere over an hour, possibly as much as an hour and twenty minutes. It was definitely not 20 minutes though. We were pissed, we wanted to eat, and we had been willing to wait out for the food, and were essentially lied to. I talked to the waitress in the meantime; apparently there was only two cooks cooking over 50 pizzas. That’s not an excuse, that’s just incompetence. Don’t take that many pizza orders if you don’t have the manpower, and if your going to be down so long, close the damn restaurant. When the food came out, I was somewhat surprised. It honestly felt like it was never going to come out, and I kind of thought that they might just tell us that the order can’t be done. Or maybe I would just be in that Brick booth the rest of my life, seeing my face wrinkle and my hair turn white as my life withers away waiting for my pasta puttanesca. However, when the food came I noticed a new problem: no silverware or plates. I just started laughing at this point, because I seriously couldn’t believe so many things could go wrong in a restaurant at the same time. It was so ridiculous. The food wasn’t too bad. In fact, I would even call it okay, still not too great. My pasta puttanesca had olives and other vegetables in it, and I liked the sauce and stuff. My friends were divided over the pizza; one thought it was okay, the other absolutely disgusting, «worst pizza I’ve ever had.» Hers was also cold. Both agreed that it the pizza looked kind of thrown together, as if they had just made cheese pizza and thrown some other kind of cheese on it. After all of that, I thought we were going to get some kind of discount, something. My family worked in the food business for several years, in fact they ran an Italian restaurant not too unlike Brick in Boston. When you messed up an order very badly, you would give a pretty big discount, and if severe enough, you would just give it to them for free. That was the mindset we always, and we were a small family restaurant. Not Brick. Initially, the waitress(who was very nice by the way) told us that they didn’t discounts, company policy I guess. This was during the wait. As the wait turned longer, I got more and more angry. I asked to speak to the manager. I told him all that happened, and while nice to us, he defended the fly thing and the wait time. He told us that we had been told there was going to be wait, when in actuality, we were not told that it was going to be that long, just 20 minutes. Who in there right mind would wait nearly an hour and a half for food in a center full of other great places to eat? After I told the manager everything, he told me that he would have to talk to a general manager. Good, I thought. Finally some progress, maybe we will get a pretty good discount, at least 30−40% right? Not so. 15% was all they would give us. After all that had happened, that is pathetic. I didn’t argue; I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life in that Brick asking for a lower price. We honestly deserved at least 50% of it off, probably the whole order. They ruined my Saturday night, and there was no excuse. I didn’t leave a tip. That’s something that I had never done before in my life, and I’m a great believer in tips. I wrote on the check that I just couldn’t do it after that experience. I just couldn’t.

Sat at the bar and ordered a cheeseburger. Pickles and mayo only. Was informed that they did not have any Pickles. Well… OK. Restaurant was empty. 12 guest total in the place. Food took forever. Was getting ready to pay for my beer and leave but the food arrived. The burger was over cooked, bun was toasted black and apparently they did not have mayo either. Sent it back, ordered a medium rare burger, found out they did have pickles and waited forever again. I just gave up… paid for my beer and left. Never did receive the re-done burger. Won’t go back. Can you give this less than 1 Star? If I could I would.

Came for a quick pizza during a conference lunch break. Since I love pizza and am willing to try different types, I asked my server Shawn for his recommendation. He recommended the white arugula. Although the thin crust was a little over cooked, the remaining ingredients were perfectly balanced. The caramelized onions melted in your mouth as they blended with the truffle oil that was gingerly sprinkled throughout. The crushed chili was so nicely spread across the pie, that you just got a hint of it as you chewed and swallowed your bite. A definite must. Just give yourself a little extra time for lunch since each pizza is made to order and therefore takes longer to arrive. Thanks Shawn for your recommendation and your attentiveness, for you are the other reason why I would return.

We landed here for a place to duck into in hot PHX July afternoon. Also happened to be happy hour. We got a Four Peaks(my fave brewery) & a sangria each for $ 3. What a deal? We weren’t hungry so I’ll have to go back & report on the food but the prices seemed on par for the area & looked good from what we saw. So I look forward to trying it soon & hopefully upping the star level to a 4 – 5.

ABSOLUTELYAMAZING!!! First off, It’s completely reasonably priced. I ordered the ten inch Mediterranean pizza and it was 9 dollars, and for the quality I thought that was great. Our waitress was this cute little thing and she was so nice and so down to earth. And the food was so good, I most definitely coming back. It’s odd that people don’t give this a high rating because I thought it was great.
