I’ve been flying AA for a LONG time. Once, several decades ago, it was worth having a membership to the Admirals Club. But no more. They have all simply become an overcrowded extension of the main terminal full of self important people talking too loudly on their cell phones. Save your money.

I’ve been to lounges around the world. For being a lounge, at a major hub for an airline I am shocked at how bad this place was. I arrived around 11am, and literally EVERYTHING was picked over. A few half bagels left, some lemon cake, one yogurt, no fruit, empty serving dishes etc. The staff clearly were over worked… albeit still friendly.

Always crowded but much better then sitting out in the airport. Decent food and a good bar

I stopped by the Term A club on my way to SEA. As always I was cheerfully welcomed into the club and asked if there was anything they could do to help. First stop the loo. I walked past the 2 gentlemen in the hall into a closet sized mens room. Both facilities are fully occupied so now I understand why they were standing outside the door. Hey AA having a men’s room equipped with one urinal and one stall is not very customer friendly. C’mon a small expansion in capacity would eliminate gentlemen queuing up in the hallway. So instead of waiting in the hall I decided a Bloody Mary would be in order. Don’t judge me I’ve been up since 330AM and it’s noon somewhere east of AZ. Approaching the empty bar I politely asked for a Bloody Mary I barely got an acknowledgment from the bartender, Jorge. I was handed my drink said thank you and received squat for a response. No he was not busy. I asked Jorge to change a $ 5 and provide me with $ 3 change. He handed me my change without even acknowledging the tip. Hey Jorge how about a simple thank you! I could have left you a $ 0 tip for a Comped beverage. If you don’t like being in the service industry get out or change your attitude. Let’s see a star for the gals upfront and a star for the nice breakfast spread.

With my frequent trips to Phoenix, I’ve gotten used to visiting the American Airlines Admirals Club at Sky Harbor airport. It’s much smaller and more casual than most Admirals Clubs but it’s still okay. Things I like: good snacks such as Mediterranean olives, tasty crackers and moist brownies! They’ve also served some pretty good soups when I’ve been there. The service is also very good. You are always greeted by friendly staff at the reception and workers are quick to clear empty used dishes so the lounge is always clean. Things that could be better: the size of the lounge since it can get pretty cramped when busy and bustling with travelers. Some updating of the desk/business center area and perhaps even the entire lounge, would help improve it’s general appearance and look. But overall, this lounge is good enough, comfortable and a nice perk when waiting for your flight.

We were here on a Sunday evening and it was fairly empty. So we enjoyed the quietness. Wifi worked just fine. The bar prices for premium products are very high. For a Johnny Walker Black single it is $ 10. My glass of red wine was $ 12. But I don’t think any of these clubs are worth $ 50 to enter. Only worth while if you’re a member.

Very small space! I had just visited the LAX Admiral’s club and that was probably 30 times larger. There are people standing around everywhere. Wifi is extremely slow. Restrooms are tiny, however they are updated. The food was pretty decent with bagels and cream cheese, bread, oatmeal, fruit, cereal and orange juice. I would never pay to enter here. Luckily I had a free pass.

Worst admirals club I’ve been to. But sadly, it’s better than sitting in the small airport that is PHX. The club here is crowded and cramped. The bar takes up half the room, the layout is just very poor. Turn right after you check-in, rather than left towards the windows, snacks, and bar. The right side of the club has more seating, and feels less claustrophobic.

Very tiny, people are circling for chairs. Well maintained and stocked but so small. They do have plans to remodel but for now it is in rough shape.

— $ 50 to enter, definitely overpriced. I would say $ 20 max would have been worth it. — Will not be returning as there’s nothing that makes it worthwhile. It’s got minimal food options, crap-fi internet, no showers, etc. — Recommend you don’t even bother unless you had a free pass. — I can only wish that an AMEX Centurion Lounge opened at the Phoenix Airport.

VERY limited food choices. Poor wifi service. Not worth the price. This place is cramped, poorly supplied, and NOT worth the money. It is much better to go to THECLUB at PHX(must arrive before 3:30pm). Here is the Unilocal link.

Absolutely horrible customer service. The only reason I am an Admirals club member is for the expedited customer service when I need to make changes to a flight. Was in earlier today trying to upgrade a my CLT to LHR leg to business and she flat out told me that she wouldn’t help me. Not only was she unwilling to help me she was a flat our miserable human being that has no business being in customer service especially from a premium product. I ended up walking down to the other admirals club where they were happy to help.

Standard Admirals Club with the usual amenities. Nothing special to report as its fairly standard across the board. Space can be a bit tight when multiple flights dump off at the same time, however the service is always on point and the staff id friendly.

Really the worst admirals club I have been to. Few reasons: 1) incredibly tiny 2) WiFi that is terrible, almost impossible to connect to, terrible 3) outdated, cramped 4) overall seems very disorganized. 5) tables are constantly dirty There is just a lack of upkeep here, slow service, tiny space, stale cookies. Compared to other locations this one is really just lacking overall.

I’ll start off with the positive. The bartender was extremely nice. That’s where the positives for this club end. The food choices are a joke, any seasoned traveler will have more options in their travel bag than this location. Choices include 3 types of salty party snacks Some chips and salsa And some fruit Free drinks are limited to: Water Soda Bud Bud light Anything else is extremely expensive! Half of the electrical outlets don’t work and a couple of the lamps. Most of the outlets that do work are along a wall and not near the seats. You would have better luck at your gate. Extremely disappointed in the quality of this club in one of the newly combined American/US Air hubs.

Expected more but now my expectations are much lower and will keep that in mind if I ever go back. The only thing that they had to eat was a small bag of chips or some trail mix. Their drink selection was small, their bar was expensive, and it was packed with people too stuck on themselves. Thankfully this stop only cost me $ 8 for a beer. I was able to skip the entry fee because I had a free voucher. My advise is to stop in one of the restaurants with the common folks and enjoy yourself there. You will have more fun and get better food!

Not the best lounge I’ve been to. The only snacks they have are chips and cookies. Can I get something without carbs and empty calories!!! The women who checked me in was far from helpful and didn’t say much of anything at all. Definitely didn’t make me feel welcomed. The Bloody Mary was good.

Not impressed with this club, very small and no food. Had kind of a depressing, old vibe to it. Defintely not worth the $ 50 to get in if you don’t have a membership.

The club personnel are really helpful, got me changed to the best Y seat on the plane! Lounge itself can use an upgrade though. Not much amenity wise but comfortable and out of the way. Scent selection of coffee and teas although some tea options were empty. Overall, not worth to pay unless you have an annual pass. Sure they have other clubs around the airport with better amenities.
