5&5 Brows – Threading & Beauty

I went in with my wife. She was fine with my wife but was rude to me the entire time, even giving me attitude for not holding my skin tight enough. Not sure if it’s because I’m a guy or what, but she clearly had no interest in doing my eyebrows. Fortunately for her, I’ll never be back.

My eyebrows look horrible!!! I wanted to tint them, and I thought I might come here, since it was close. It shows that they aren’t that familiar with eyebrow tinting as I needed them to be. I gave the girl doing my eyebrows a picture for reference and I feel like she didn’t even try to make them look similar. Never coming back here. I look so embarrassing.

My first time having my brows threaded. When I walked in there was only one lady who was threading someone at the time. She greated me with the most faint hello and never looked up. After she was done in sat in the chair and she started on my eyebrows. She wasn’t a people person at all. Her personality was zero, but my eyebrows came out good. I don’t think I’ll be going back here anymore. I’m going to look for someone a little more friendly.

Dope! I had a Groupon for this place in my neighborhood and it really is a hidden gem! Super fast, clean, and my eyebrows haven’t looked this good in a while! They offer other beauty service such as lashes and even brow extensions lol. Highly recommended! Go ladies!

I love this place! I’m so glad there is a trust worthy eyebrow threading salon right in Ahwatukee. I am so picky about my brows and they always do a great job.

I was in the middle of a Pilates class when I looked in the mirror and noticed my brows were a disaster. I am immediately went on to Unilocal and searched eyebrow threading near me that search led me to this place. I did the five for $ 10 deal and was immediately able to get in, whoever did my brows a great job

Sarita was incredibly talented and fast for full face and brow threading. The owner, Ayesha was pleasant and greeted me with a smile too.
Was great to see a professional service which is locally owned.
Used the Living Social app for a coupon, and will be back as a regular customer. They have EARNED my business. Close to home, and didn’t have to make an appointment.
If you normally wax, have you tried threading? Threading is AMAZING. Having sensitive skin I break out from any waxing product with welts, and have tried tons. Threading is fast, lasts a long time, and with full face threading it HELPS your skin products ABSORB into your skin better! Try it!
If you need henna, they also have henna tattoos (my daughter has already requested one on our next trip in).

I stumbled across 5 – 5 brows… I’m so happy I did. Sarita is awesome they were so professional and nice. I found my new place for my brow needs.

I just finished getting my eyebrows done here and it will be my last time. The first time I went I was given someone in training. I’m okay with that, however no one was helping her or giving her any instruction. My eyebrows looked alright but not great. Today was my second time here. I walked in and was greeted by a nice girl. She had me sign in on sheet although no one else was there. The person who was going to do my eyebrows was on her personal cell phone when I walked in. She continued the call without acknowledging my presence. I was summoned to the chair where she continued her phone call. She then pushed my shoulder back as to set me up in the chair. I let her know that I’d like to wait for her to get off of her call before she started. This didn’t seem to phase her as her call continued for a minute or two longer. When she was finally done she still didn’t even say hello. She didn’t ask any questions on what I wanted. She did a good job though, I’m happy with how my brows look. When it was done, she walked over to the front without saying anything. She put her hand out for my card and I had to ask «how much.» When finished paying, there was no «thank you» or anything. Like another poster said, I’ll drive further for better customer service. Not impressed. I can’t understand why you wouldn’t treat each customer like gold, especially when you’re not consistently busy. Oh well.

I don’t ever write reviews on here, I always read them but 5 – 5 brows asked me to do a review so here I am. They did an awesome job. I found them on a living social deal I got. The lady was very nice and listened to what I wanted. I will be back. :)

I decided to try this new eyebrow threading spot out. I always get nervous about waxing or threading at a new place. My brows are already pretty thin… one wrong move and the whole thing could be gone! However the girl who did my brows listened to what I wanted and only «cleaned ‘em up». They look great!
I used the Unilocal check in offer. They didn’t know it was on here but they happily obliged. Nice ladies. I will be back.

The person who did my eyebrows was very unprofessional, condescending, and looked at me like I was crazy when I told her what I wanted to do with my eyebrows. She wouldn’t listen to me until someone else who worked there told her to just listen to my requests and do it. Regardless of why she acted so condescending, there was no reason to make your client feel like an idiot for knowing exactly what they want done. Id tell her to do something, she’d say she did it, but after I could obviously see she did not. I’m not going back. I’ve been there about 4 times and each time was mediocre service. Id rather drive further than go somewhere where they can’t seem to understand simple requests.

They’re ok I guess. Tried to charge me $ 12 because I am a guy. BS! I called them out on it so they charged me the normal price they have advertised.

5 – 5 Brows made an unprofessional decision to not listen to their client, and then when I called them on it, they blamed my skin instead of owning their mistake. I went in for the first time and unless they re-​do my eyebrows FOR FREE, I’m not going back!!. my eyebrows didn’t have much of a shape when I left anyway and she left A LOT of extra hair in places that other gals have trimmed off. my biggest problem though was that I told her I was allergic to most products so to just use water or nothing at all. SHE DIDN’T LISTEN. Not 5 minutes later she was using powder and their oil on my eyebrows. I JUST TOLD HER I WAS ALLERGIC 5 MINUTES BEFORE! of course, I broke out immediately! She called, who I think is the shop owner, over and asked her to look at my break out. I can’t believe they said «it’s not the oil that broke you out, it’s just your sensitive skin, it’s IMPOSSIBLE for you to be allergic to this oil». WHAT?!! what does that even mean??? I told her specifically, I was allergic to the oils and I am. I thought she «specialized» in skin care. She should know wayyyy more than she did. And even if my skin is sensitive, which it is, shouldn’t that have let you know to go easy on the products anyway??? I mean you specialize in skin care – you should know this. right? They said «oh, this product prevents bumps». and I said «so why do I have these bumps?» and they said «oh I see them going away already…» Well I disagreed and two days later, I still have these bumps and lots of itching. I’ve gotten my brows threaded at AZ MIlls several times and never have this problem. They actually listen to me and don’t use products. I wish I didn’t have to drive all the way to AZ mills as 5 – 5 Brows is right across the street from my house, but it’s worth it.

My first time here. Very clean environment. And my eyebrows look GREAT! I have very thin eyebrows, so one wrong move and there goes my face. I will definitely be back! Thank you!
