Walmart Supercenter

The old walmart was miserable, dirty, poor customer service and overall just crap.
So when they were building the new Super Walmart, I was very excited. Walmart does have the best prices. The new store has been here for a few years now and has turned into exactly what the old walmart was. The workers are miserable. They don’t care and it shows in their attitude and appearance. The place is a mess with items all over the place. I get a headache when I go in there. I gladly pay the extra money and go over to Target where its stress free and the associates are clean and friendly.

I have never been treated so rudely in my life! ANGIE from Walmart in Phillipsburg, NJ. She that’s absolutely no customer service experience whatsoever! she calls her customers asshole isn’t that polite!

The good: The store is fairly clean. Most of the time there is plenty of inventory, and things are usually stacked nicely on the shelves.
The okay: There is usually plenty of parking. The pharmacy people are usually pretty quick, and you can’t beat their prices.
The bad: There are times when I wonder if anyone works there. Not just at the registers, but anywhere in the store. If you need help finding something, good luck! When I order photos online for store pickup, I end up waiting there forever. Need a fishing license, you’re going to wait forever. I usually end up calling the store while I’m there, and asking them to send someone over… still takes forever.
Wrap up: It’s a Walmart, you pretty much know what to expect. However, the ones in Nazareth, Clinton, Flemington, and Branchburg always seem to have plenty of people working. As Walmarts go, it’s a good store, but the lack of employees means you can’t get in and out without budgeting plenty of time. Also, just to clarify what another Unilocaler posted, there are NO self checkout registers at this location.

One of the better walmart. To the lazy asses there are self check out leave it to nj idiots to think since there gas is pumped they cant check thereselves some ignorant people. Its clean spacious parking lot. I drive for a living and have spent several nights here safe area. Really people whine about more important stuff then checking out

This is the worst Walmart in the United States of America. I refuse to shop here any longer. Went to get a fishing license at the sporting goods desk which was void of any human being and stacked full of boxes and other garbage. The isles are mostly unorganized and in shambles. I’ve seen half eaten food on shelves. Come here to get motor oil? Chances are they won’t have it in stock. Want to see some creepy, shady people milling about? Come here. I saw kids riding bikes and skateboards around in the sporting goods section knocking things down. This is just an updated version of the old Walmart. Sad to say this place will probably never go out of business mainly due to the majority of gross scummy people that shop here. My advice, shop small and don’t support this corporate whore.

This Walmart isn’t bad but there’s always no staff and 50 checkout lines and only 1 open. Horrible customer service, one girl took my online order and told me she was going to look for someone who knows where my item is, then went on break and forgot about my order. Waited 30+ minutes for an online order

I cannot stand this place. The staff does not greet any customers or make them feel welcome although this is a very high volume store. The pharmacy often has crazy lines but knowledgeable staff. Customer service desk — there is a young lady who works at customer service who is fantastic, the rest of the staff is slow and at XMas time I have seen lines with 40 minute wait times. Online orders disorganized at best, that is what causes the wait times at the desk. Checkout here is my main gripe. I will wait 20 minutes to get checked out in an express lane due to understaffing. Not enough lanes open and most of the cashiers are SLOW. I often try to shop elsewhere, but I do enjoy the layout of the store and selection of products, so I return. Would like someone from management to contact me about why there is never enough cashiers at peak business hours and why anyone working in the store cannot say «hi» or even smile at me. Would love to see improvement, this store is a gold mine if they would just treat customers right.

I don’t buy my meats and produce here though! This is my practice will all «supercenters». But I had someone visiting me who went to buy chicken here and when we picked one up a ton of liquid came out of the shrink wrap and it REEEEEEKED of FISH!!! EEEEEEEWWWW.
I RAN many isles to get some clorox wipes for our hands! The smell lingered… iik.
So I ignore the food area and things are just peachy. Haven’t used the pharmacy. Don’t plan to.
