Hidden ethnic gem at the extreme eastern edge of the central time zone and deep in the heart of the deep south. Great oasis for Italian(and also Cuban/German) food fans. The owners are very nice people — at least one is from Queens(NY). The chicken parm. and the Cuban sandwich were outstanding and up there with the best I’ve had anywhere. From the looks of the surrounding tables, the place is busy with satiatied customers and the calzones and other Italian dishes look very good and generous. Did not try the signature pizza or German cuisine, but I am willing to bet that it is all excellent(The sauce and melted cheeses used were top notch and oh so flavorful). The only downsides are that the pasta is precooked(not to order) therefore not al dente and the grated cheese comes out of a container(prepackaged) which is not consistent with the rest of the high quality food. Overcooked pasta, after all, has been known to make dedicated Italian cooks throw pots of hot water down the stairs in a fit of rage and frustration. I would love to try this place again and then again to explore more of these delightful food options. If they obtained a liquor license, this place would take off like a rocket. Would consider upgrading this rating upon a subsequent visit. Very reasonable and comfy seating.

Fully not satisfied, sat at the table without getting waited on, was expecting great food but unfortunately service was not up to par, we went there before a rush came in, then all of a sudden we got forgotten about.

This is a real pizza and Italian type food. No pre cooked mystery meat, but good simple and fresh. love this place. I have tried just about everything on the menu and the Greek pizza” with gyro meat” is a must to try.

Servers were nice but food not so. Order a Italian Stromboli but order was messed up. It was filled with mushrooms and had a bad smell to it. Just had to leave because I wasted my whole work lunch time waiting on it. After reading the good reviews I am was just disappointed and left hungry.

First time with my wife and we were impressed!!! Best pizza we’ve had in a very long time. Large portions, great prices, all the workers made me feel like I was part of the family. I recommend this place to everyone. And for my army family, this is the place to go. And if you come in uniform you get 10%off. Gianna’s I will be back for more!

The gyro was one of the best I’ve had. The calzone was exceptional as well. The hummus and pita were sub par. The dining area was spacious and friendly. The owners were attentive and engaging and interested in my input. I stopped here to specifically try their falafel, which they no longer serve. Overall a good dining experience.(Saturday evening visit)

Delicious food. Love the Italian calzone. It is family run which is way better. It’s local, it’s fresh. Tastes way better than the pizza chains around here. Make sure to call ahead if your getting takeout because it can take a while on busy nights.

Found this place by chance as we were driving through Alabama. My fiancé and I shared a Torta Cubana and a Greek pizza… Both were amazing but I’m coming back for the Torta Cubana! Great, friendly latin service:-)

We’re simply dumb for living here for over three years and not eating here sooner. My husband and I both had calzones that were amazing! They’re also huge, so we’re already looking forward to having the leftovers for dinner tonight. We ordered the children’s portion of spaghetti for our five year old. He ate it like it was going out of style, and he’s also still got enough for dinner tonight. The hummus and pita were fantastic as well. It’s some of the best hummus that I’ve had since moving to Georgia. The service was perfect. The staff was super friendly and our waitress was awesome. She didn’t hover over us and bother us through the entire meal, but she was always around if we needed something. From the very beginning up until walking out, there’s absolutely nothing bad that I have to say about our visit. We will definitely be back many more times in the future!

The Owners used to have this place next to Lowe’s in Columbus off Veterans Parkway. They were INCREDIBLE there as well. Usually you see low ratings on most of the places I rate. All of you already know I won’t rate fast food high. The bulk of the time an old building is horrible, but I found this one to have nice character and the owners are always the best. Get the GYRO!!! I have tried the other menu items, but the GYRO’S are to die for!!!

This place is pretty good overall. The portions are large. My wife and I usually share a calzone they are so big. A little on the greasy side of things. They recently redid the interior and I think it looks pretty good. Overall you are likely to enjoy your visit.

Food was good-however the service was horrible. Had to ask for drinks to be refilled. Wait staff was tuned into the tv broadcast rather than the customer. I would’ve rated lower had the food not been decent. The hummus and pita were marginal. Edited: I had this as a 2-star review. However, upon leaving one of the cooks in back yelled across the restaurant to the clerk, «do we have any ant spray.» We won’t be back!

We have driven by this place a few times and saw that the place was empty. Despite that first fact we went in. The hummus was mehh it was microwaved with olives on top. It didn’t look like the picture for sure. Joey ordered the Greek pizza it was good he said not the best. Well that was all fine and dandy until my drink was knocked over by the waitress putting the food in front of me. I know it was an accident but no apologies were offered till we got our bill. The entire bill. I was soaking wet from sweet tea all over my legs and lady parts. We had other things to do in town and driving back home to shower and change wasn’t on the agenda. Nothing was done to ensure we will return. The food was good but the service wasn’t. 2 stars for food. 0 stars for experience.
