It was really quick on orders. Love all the taco they made, especially Al Pastor.

Our apartment complex, Broadstone Crossing — Parmer/Metric, had Snappy Snacks at our community event. Their tacos were great! The ladies were so nice!

We had an event for our residents and had Snappy Snacks come by to provide free tacos and drinks. They were on time and ready to serve! The ladies are super sweet and quick on orders. Our residents enjoyed all the different selections they have for tacos. They have vegetarian and all the meats! Definitely recommend this for an event or just to grab a quick bite.

But, but — I am not in Phlugerville! The Snappy Snack truck is near the Capitol! At breakfast and lunchtime, it is parked on Brazos, between the 2 Workforce Commission buildings, just South of 15th. This is really a 3.5 star truck, but the name and the prices push it to 4. I can get a decent little burger for $ 3.50. Carnitas, barbacoa or carne asada tacos come on on very fresh corn tortillas with cilantro and onion for $ 1.50. What is truly delightful, however, is the tuna melt. Mmmmm. Grilled sourdough bread, tuna, and melted american and swiss cheese for less than five bucks. The burritos aren’t that great, unfortuantely. The tortillas they use are too thick and they don’t have enough rice or beans in them. They also have patty melts and sandwiches with avocado, etc. The snappy snack truck makes me feel snappy and happy! Update! The snappy snack truck is no longer in front of the workforce commission building and for that, I grieve. Instead, there is a truck with flames on it that serves terrible grocery store hot dogs that they call gourmet(they aren’t) and lame burgers. No more good home made Mexican food. Too bad. So sad.

I haven’t tried that many items from the menu, but they automatically get 4 stars for their $ 1.50 scrump-dilly-umptious barbacoa tacos with cilantro and onion. My only qualm is that they only take cash.
