I have had many of ours cars in this shop. Each time they have done an amazing job and offered top notch customer service. Joe went above and beyond. I couldn’t give a higher recommendation.

This place is AMAZING! From start to finish, Richard and Brandon took great care of me AND my vehicle. Everything was explained in detail and finished when they said it would be.
When it comes to customer service and providing customer satisfaction, this place goes above and beyond. I was given a ride home after dropping it off and when I came to pick it up, it was like driving away in a brand new truck. It was washed, wheels shining and all my windows were spotless! They definitely do quality work! Thank you Richard, Brandon and the repair techs who did an awesome job on my Nissan Frontier. I’m very satisfied with my results!

My mechanics recommend Masters and they are a preferred provider by State Farm. Unfortunately I was in a accident and needed repairs. Richard and Carmen were fantastic. They kept me informed and communicated with the insurance company. Repairs were done ahead of schedule and my car was handed over looking great. They also warranty their work.

It was heartening, yet no less sad to discover other former customers, including the person who was my originally referred me to MAC, concurred that their experiences have deteriorated. Others who commented did offer alternatives however:

From start to finish these folks were awesome! The communication was great, and attention to detail was amazing. Brandon and Walter really went the extra mile to ensure everything went right. Even though there were some delays with insurance approvals, they kept me informed. My car looks better than when I took it in! I’d highly recommend this crew. I’d give them 6 stars if possible.

Great work, done in a timely manner and very professional. I gave 4 stars because we have never been to a body shop where they did not give us a quote before doing the work. We asked a few times for them to send something over before submitting it to insurance. Other than not getting the quote prior, we were pleased with everything! Our car looks new again!

This is THE go to place for repairs. My husband and I both needed our cars repaired (through no fault of my own — no matter what anyone says) and they handled the job exquisitely from A — Z. From getting all of our paperwork done, to coordinating with the insurance staff, to restoring our cars to a better than previous condition. The staff is VERY personable and nice. Everyone from the owner to the receptionist has a pleasant attitude and the the communication level is remarkable. I hope I don’t have to use them again, but if I do, I know I’ll be in good hands!

Got into an accident (old people t-​boned me) and had to get some serious work done. These guys had my car ready earlier than expected. Very efficient. Definitely recommend them if you’ve been in an accident.

Masters was recommended to me by a coworker as being exceptional, and the reviews seemed to support that. My experience was only so-​so.
The good:
My car needed a new fender and repair on the drivers door. They turned it around in about a week, so no issue there.
The service staff was very professional and friendly, they really did seem to be going out of their way on that front.
The bad:
They drove my car around when I came to pick it up, and through the shop window I could already see the new fender didn’t line up with the hood (not even close). They fixed that in about 15 minutes while I waited. It was raining, so inspection was challenging.
Later on I realized that the fender was also not lined up properly on the bumper, the bumper was sticking out about 1/​8″ instead of being flush. I brought it back in and they fixed it in about 20 minutes while I waited.
A couple days later I notice some black goo on the front of the drivers seat and I quickly recognized the stuff as being the tar-​like goop that holds some plastic sheeting up on the inside of the drivers door (I’ve had the door apart before, and that goop is tenacious). So while they were repairing the door, they let the sheet lay against the seat, got goo all over it, and didn’t clean it off. I took care of that myself, luckily I was able to get it off, but the seat is tacky now.
So in the end the problems were resolved and the car is in good shape, but I wouldn’t have expected to run into three problems.

I was recently traveling through the US from my home in Canada. Driving an 1987 Volkswagon camper that needed a small amount of
Restoration work. I was in Pflugerville for a month visiting family and decided to check out some local body shops to have this work done. I decided to use Master’s on Pecan street. The reason for this decision was not based solely on the estimate as it was in the middle of three that I had obtained. The shop appeared to be very organized and clean. The staff was friendly and courteous. After a small initial problem, the owner Walter and his manager Brandon took charge and kicked into high gear. The body work was done properly with metal replacement and the paint match and quality was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone.

After getting a quote from Jose to custom color a «visor» for my special edition scion xb I told him I was going to get 2 more quotes just to make sure I could find the best price.
Wow let me tell you the other guys prices were double or more!
As far as quality gos Masters matched the paint perfectly and did the install for me for less than what Toyota would have charged me just to paint it.
The staff is super friendly, family like and willing to work with you couldn’t have asked for a better experience! (PS they even gave me a ride home since I am the only driver in my family and had to drop the car off to them over night) SUPER AWESOME SHOP!

After getting the run around from a paint/​body shop in Austin, I decided to give these guys a try after reading these reviews. I am so glad I did! :)
Easy to deal with, great customer service (ask for Jose!) and they even fixed another part of my car at no charge. Seriously–
Worth the drive, even if you are in Austin. I’m just sayin’…

Unfortunately, we’ve had three incidents over the last few years that required body shop services, but Masters made the experience as painless as possible.
In each case, they were quick with the estimate, the estimate was very reasonable, and the work was completed on time. In the first case, I was rear-​ended hard on Mopac causing extensive damage to my wife’s car. They fixed it and had it looking as good as new within about two weeks. On two subsequent issues, they were just as good to deal with as the initial experience. The quality of the paint job is probably not perfect (I’m a big stickler for fine details), but not enough to detract from the overall job.
One thing that sets them apart is service after the sale, so to say. When you pick up a car after major body work, there are always some minor issues that pop up — they were very nice and took care of the mright away and never made us feel like we should accept the workmanship as-​is. Even though it’s been a year and a half since my wife’s incident, we had a few spots on a rear fender that looked like the clearcoat came off. My wife went back, and they buffed out what ended up being a blotch of something on top of the clearcoat — it wasn’t a paint problem at all. Not only that, but they also buffed out a scratch on her fender that was completely unrelated.
Update June 2011: Unfortunately, I’ve had yet another chance to make use of Masters. A huge piece of a truck tire was thrown up by the car in front of us and completely demolished the front and underside of my wife’s Altima. The work took a little over a week to complete, and they actually took a cut in profit because the owner would not allow cheaper aftermarket parts to be used on some critical areas. Everything looks great after they were done, and their 5-​star rating is once again completely justified.

I have known Walter for a number of years and he has worked on 3 of my cars with impeccable results. The man knows his way around a car and his staff are always professional and courteous. I would refer him to anyone without hesitation.

Master’s Auto Craft did a fantastic job! Joe was really helpful and kept in contact with me the entire time my car was being repaired. And the fact that they detailed my car before I picked it up was fantastic!
If I ever need any body work done to my car again I will definitely be taking it to Masters!

With the recent ice storm I found myself exactly where I didn’t want to be… smashed against the wall on MoPac. Fortunately for me I was referred to Masters Auto Craft for my repairs. Masters was great! Great customer service! I was very impressed with level of communication. Repair was completed ahead of schedule and looks fantastic! I would definitely refer them to others.

Master’s proved themselves to be professional, honest, experienced and knowledgeable. Their professional demeanor and exceptional honesty motivated me to join Unilocal so that I could assert the unusually positive experience I had while getting my car repaired.
If I am ever in need of a body shop again I will not consider using anyone else.

Master’s Auto Craft is the kind of company to which you want to be fiercely loyal.
I took my BMW 3 series here after my car was hit from behind at a traffic stop. The car was undrivable after the accident, and my usual body shop (Berli’s) was booked for over a week solid. Yikes. I panicked because I really hate taking my car to «just any body shop» because I’ve had some bad experiences.
So my insurance agent highly recommended Master’s and informed me that the owner was a previous manager at Berli’s. Okay! Great! I was still a little weary of taking my car to a new body shop, but my fears quickly dissolved after meeting Brandon, who is the person who took great care of my car for the three weeks it was in the shop.
First of all, he called me every Tuesday and Thursday to give me updates on my car and find out if I had any questions or concerns. He let me know if they were waiting for parts, if they had received parts, when the glass guy was coming to put my back glass back in, when they were going to paint my car, etc. From the beginning to the end, I was never left in limbo as far as the progress. He always let me know the approximate date it would be completed.
Second, Brandon made sure all work that was done to my car was going to be covered by insurance. I had the insurance adjuster go to the body shop to assess the damage to my car. Brandon looked over the car with the insurance adjuster, then called me afterward to let me know that they did not agree on their estimates (by a few thousand dollars). He informed me that I should request another adjuster come out and look at my car, then met with the other adjuster and got all the damages and costs approved. I didn’t have to pay anything of the damage costs at the end of the day.
Third, Brandon offered to take my car to get the wheels balanced and aligned (which is something I had been meaning to do for a good year or so… oops). I paid for it, of course, but no more than I would have if I had taken the car in myself. It was so nice to have that done while my car was in the shop (and I had a rental), and it was a major weight off my shoulders!
Finally, when I picked up my car, they gave me an envelope full of information with everything they had done to my car and a certificate guaranteeing their work. They thoroughly cleaned the inside and outside of my car, and it looks as good as it did the day I bought it! Brandon even gave me some touch up paint for future (minor) scratches.
I am a forever fan of Master’s Auto Craft now and will take my car there any time I need any work done. Although once the secret gets out as to how great they are, I might not be able to get an appointment as easily!
