K & A Grooming

This is the best groomer that I have ever taken my two little shih-tzu’s to ever. I had stopped taking them to groomers a few years ago because I would pick them up and you could tell they had a bad experience. You know the look from your dog. Scared, tail down, sad… You wonder about the types of places that you drop your pup off at and how they treat them. No worries with this place at all. I just picked them up today and they were happy as clams! When I dropped them off, they listened to everything I requested and executed it perfectly. I will definitely be bringing them back!

9÷26÷15− Took Woofie to K & A Grooming for the first time yesterday and had a wonderful experience! They cut her exactly how I like and they are so affordable. I would much rather bring her here over Petsmart or Petco, knowing she won’t be put in a kennel. So happy to find an awesome groomer in Pflugerville!
1÷5÷16− Just picked Woofie up from her visit with K & A Grooming and they did an exemplary job as usual. I cannot stress how much I LOVE that they do not cage your animal. Woofie was able to flirt and play with a little boy Maltese after her grooming! This place is everything you could want in a groomer! Ariel (and I forget the other sweet girls name) is always sweet and totally personable. Affordable, timely, and caring. What more could you ask for?

This is our second grooming with K & A. We also brought my daughter’s two poodle/​schnauzer mix pups. They took fantastic care of all three and the all look adorable.

Called K&A today (¹⁰⁄₃₁) to inquire about a haircut for a longhaired male dachshund I am currently fostering and within the hour they had us worked into the schedule for his full haircut, nail trim, glands and ear cleaning. I cannot even say how appreciative I am for the last minute appointment, quality of services and not to mention the super friendly and professional ladies working there. I was unsure about my fosters temperament with grooming and he was pretty freaked out when we arrived but they gave him some time to wander in the front and feel out the place before taking him to the back and he did just great! They let me know they would call when he was ready but I returned early and there were other freshly groomed pups there waiting for their humans and they all looked fantastic — complete with their own little Halloween bandanas! As I waited for my pup the ladies were grooming other doggies and even in the way they spoke to them and comforted them you could tell they all love what they do and it shows in their work! This is now my goto grooming spot and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat! Comparable pricing, great work and awesome staff!

Took my malamute there this morning explaining that her last groomer stopped using a good dryer to get her under coat under control. They worked with my time crunch and got her in and out in a very good time frame. Very cute shop. I will be taking all my dogs there to get baths.

I take my yorkie here to get groomed. She is my baby and I was very careful and cautious leaving her the first time. I was called when she was ready and she was extremely happy when I picked her up, as though she had fun. They are professional and know what they are doing when it comes to grooming. The prices are fair and I couldn’t complain about anything here. I completely trust them with my fur babies and will continue to use them for all my grooming needs for my fur babies.

Finally found my groomer for our labradoodle! I loved the fact that they don’t overbook and keep your dog in a cage for hours! We got the full puppy groom package for $ 40 and it was so worth it! They also gave us a cute super hero bandana :) The groomer came out and talked to me first personally and went over the process and services! They nailed it!

Best place to take your pets for grooming! The girls are so awesome there. They do a awesome job at a good price. Would never take my dogs anywhere else.

The people were customer friendly and treated my dog well. She was in and out in an hour and looks awesome

We just had our 2^nd visit with K&A and I’ve been very satisfied with their services so far. They’ve done a great job with my poodle mix, and they are so sweet with her. She truly seems to get spoiled/​pampered here. I love that. And I love that she’s generally done in a reasonably short amount of time.
These ladies do a great job, are prompt, and seem to really care about the quality and care of each little doggy in their care. We are definitely becoming regulars.

These ladies are so wonderful. It is very easy to get an appointment. My dog has been groomed here twice. He was a mess from his flight from Seattle to Austin. The ladies here did a great cut and it only took a couple of hours. I have schedule my cat twice and keep forgetting the appointment due to being in the process. They have never been rude about it and always reschedule. I greatly appreciate the terrific job they do. Prices are reasonable and the service is great!

These ladies are AMAZING. I have the sweetest St. Bernard, who is big and hairy and all sorts of awesome. I had taken him to Petco/​PetSmart and other groomers in the past who wouldn’t be very nice to him and wouldn’t do a very good job on the deshedding treatment. The services at K & A are incredible (best grooming and deshedding we’ve had) but what I love even more so is that they actually love the animals they are working on. Every time my husband and I call in, they know exactly who we are and when we have had to schedule emergency grooming they are so flexible and find a way to fit us in. I really couldn’t recommend them anymore and am so happy we found them!

Our little puppy dog always comes out happy and well groomed, she is not scared or timid coming out meaning her experience was good. So as long as puppy is good, I’m good. You can drop off and they will call, text, or email you when your dog is ready.

We have had our fair share in disappointing groomers. From shaved butts to a nasty vinegar smelling coat. But NO MORE! K & A is fast, friendly, and they do an amazing job. We have learned that not everyone understands how to trim feathering on an Australian shepherd, but K & A understood. They totally got exactly how we like it and made our fur-​baby smell and look great. We usually spend $ 75 for her to be groomed and K&A charged us $ 56 for the exact same services. The customer service is unmatched! I hope I never have to take my dog anywhere else !

I moved to the Austin area from Dallas about three years ago, and I have been scared to take my dog to a new groomer because his groomer in Dallas always told us how crazy he was.
These girls almost always have same day or next day appointments and only take about an hour. They have a couple corrals for the dogs to run around in. I always use them and my little guy always come home happy and handsome!

I decided to try K & A Grooming because it has great reviews on Unilocal and pretty close to my home. The staff was very friendly and professional. I called to make a same day appointment but settled for one 2 days away. They asked me if I would like to be notified if a spot came open sooner and I did. Within an hour of scheduling my original appointment I received a phone call from them telling me of a recent opening in the schedule, which was wonderful. They get major points for customer service and keeping their word.
When I arrived at the shop it was very clean and orderly. They greeted me immediately and went over in detail what services I wanted. I was also given the option to add any specialty services I wanted. I decided to add on a whitening shampoo since my dog has a lot of white in his coat. They gave me an estimated time of 1 – 1.5 hours so I went to the local HEB.
Just as they promised, my dog was ready in 1.5 hours. The price was exactly as promised over the phone and in person. Their quality of work is A+.

I made a last minute appointment for both my pups a few weeks back. I was just getting buried under how quickly my cocker spaniel was developing mats in her fur.
I dropped them off around 9:30am (early) and the girls were super welcoming. They also somehow convinced my shy dogs to go into the back room with them.
At 12:30, both were ready to be picked up. They seemed so happy and relaxed, had been evenly shaved, and had the cutest bandannas to go with their new cut.
Also, holy inexpensive! 90 $ for full service groom, for BOTH dogs.

Very pleased with the dog grooming services today! «Vegas» smells/​looks/​feels incredible!!! Reasonable prices, great CS, easy to make appt. and get in and out quick!

I’m not very familiar with the Austin area, but needed a groomer for my 3 month maltipoo pup. I saw K&A here on Unilocal & decided to give them a try. I’m sooo glad I did. The service was great, everyone was super friendly, and my little one looked adorable. He had a great time & really connected with the ladies. I highly recommend this place!

So happy with our experience with K & A! They kindly fit us in for a last minute appt yesterday. Their setup is nice and clean and very safe looking. I am very particular (okay, paranoid) about my dog so please know that I asked plenty of questions about their procedures before leaving my baby with them. The girls there were so friendly and took the time to explain their routine and also to determine what exactly we were wanting for our Pomeranian. He was in and out in almost an hour, and he came out happy, smelling good, and looking great. Thanks, ladies!
