Hollywood Eyebrow Threading

The older lady does a great job. I have never been in on the weekends so she’s never in a hurry. I get my whole face done becaus I have peach fuzz and it helps my makeup go on more smoothly. Waxing irritates my skin so I was super excited to find an experienced threader in Austin, well Pflugerville.
There is another, younger woman there. Do not let her touch you. The last time I went, maybe 3 – 4 months ago, she messed up my eyebrows and cut me in 4 places. A thread cut that is basically on your eyelid is incredibly painful. The other ones were on my upper lip, top of the brow, and corner of my mouth. Plus she is not experienced and it makes it way more painful.
Neither one of them are social and particularly friendly. That doesn’t bother me because I’m there to get fuzz free and I hate banal chitchat.
Still giving 4 stars because the older lady threaded me 5 times without incident and my brows were symmetrical.

My eyebrow is pretty much gone. The most painful and horrible threading experience. I’ve been getting my eyebrows threaded for years and this was just awful. The place is filthy, my eyebrows are in pain even 20 minutes after I got out of there.
The only redeeming part was that the woman was apologetic and didn’t charge me.

I have been there many times and never had a true complaint til today!!! Lady took out so much eyebrow gat it created a hole!!! When I told her she said «oh it’s not that big, it happens» I was furious!!! My eyebrows look terrible! I’m so upset!!!

I go here regularly it’s really hit or miss. Sometimes I’m in love with my brows other times not. I would recommend going during the week, due to the weekend getting busy. Budget friendly and convent location.

I like the convenience of this location and their prices are reasonable. I get my shopping and eyebrows done all in one stop.
The lady I always see there is the best. She is always there on Sunday afternoons but I can’t for the life of me remember her name.
$ 8 for eyebrows and that’s all I do because I’m a real punk and prefer to wax/​nair my upper lip.
PS fellas… you guys are welcome too. I’ve seen plenty of guys there every weekend. It’s not just for ladies.

If you want your teenage daughter to cry & be upset for weeks over the horrible lopsided eyebrows they did, then this is your place. $ 8 seems like a great deal… until you see the results you’re left with. Avoid this place!

If you are thinking of going here, DO NOT GO!!! After getting my eyebrows threaded here, they looked the worst they ever have. I clearly asked the lady working there just to thread the hairs around my brow and not to change the shape at all. SO… she rips off half my eyebrow, decides to reshape them, and I am left with extremely thin and uneven eyebrows. I used to have super pretty thick brows but thanks to them I’m left with the ugliest pair I’ve seen.): This eyebrow job ruined my self-​esteem and I will never, ever go back. Beware.

First time at this place today, was pretty fasr, she heard what I wanted and did a grate job.
Only thing is that it hurt a bit on each eye for a min, but at least I didn’t get cut like at the last place I went to.
Will go back to this place.

The lady was polite but not that friendly. I had my eyebrows threaded. I’ve had this done before, but this is the first time someone used scissors to trim them. I would say it’s painful and the right eyebrow was shaped differently than the left.
The other complaint I have. The eyebrows cost $ 8. I gave her a $ 20 and asked for change. She spent a good 3 – 5 min looking for more change. By this time I was fed up and just took the $ 9 instead of the $ 12. I was owed. With that fiddling and playing around at the cash register, she did not deserve that kind of tip.

I been having a really hard time finding a place that can thread good since my friend left the state. Love this place, my eyebrows look great. Little weird that’s it’s inside HEB.

This is the worst eyebrow threading I ever had. I would recommend not to go. My eye brows were too short and they were not of same length. She was using scissors to shape my eyebrows And the threading was painful. Please dont suggest to any of your friends.

She did a great job on my eyebrows and was very fast. The only thing is I wish she hadn’t made them as thin as she did. Will be going back, can’t beat $ 8 for eyebrow threading!

I’m just passing through Austin for the holidays. I randomly Unilocal’d «eyebrow threading» and found this spot at the HEB near my friends’ house and was delighted! Kind of a weird location, but really smart if ya think about all the ladies who do the grocery shopping! I walked in and was able to be seen next! No pretense of a spa or salon and very convenient!

They’ve upgraded their digs! Now the business is really INSIDE the HEB and not forced to share space with the shopping carts!

She’s better than average, and I love my eyebrows. She engaged me in conversation about my eyebrow treatment and where I was from. She observed my eyebrows and told me the difference between them (one IS a lot thinner). She gave me a mirror, and I watched her trim them once she was done. A!

Went to this place for the first time, it was decent but not clean like it should be. I found myself plucking the hairs after threading. But I figure how can you go wrong for a threading for $ 8. Went back the second time, and the lady literally ripped my skin out! The next couple of days I walked around with scabs on my eyelids. I will never go back there. Not worth $ 8!!! Poor quality, not to mention the scabbing!!!

I have been here several times and I always love the result. I used to get my eybrows waxed but I have a scar on one side that always messed things up. Because the threading is more exact they can shape them without screwing it up. It is in a strange location, Inside an HEB. But the price is great, only 8 bucks to get eyebrows done. I have taken friends here as well, and they loved the result too. The ladies English can be difficult to understand but they do such an amazing job I don’t mind. They remembered me on only my second visit and knew exactly the shape I wanted. I think the threading hurts less than waxing and waaaayyy less than plucking. I think they are incredible
