i know i’ll never ever be back and can only encourage others to do the same. The waitresses talked amongst themselves, even mocking and laughing at fellow customers, well within earshot. on top of that, nearly all of my party’s orders were wrong. it’s over priced for what it is, and while the establishment ~would~ be charming enough to entertain under other circumstances, the customer service was so horrid i don’t even remember the ice cream.

I went here couple of days ago. It had free coffee which is always good. However I was also tempted to get some froyo. So I got many flavors in one. All my choices which was also good. Only four stars though for being little expensive

Lunch time at Freddy’s, I had the patty melt combo, the sandwich was great. Melted cheese sautéed onions and toasted bread with some fancy sauce. It hit the spot.

I have been here at least a dozen times and today was a horrible experience. I thought I was over reacting when I walked in and the floor was grimey and slippery but it feels the same all over the restaurant like they haven’t mopped with a clean mop in weeks. All the tables were filthy, I had to clean my own table. The restrooms were just as filthy as the lobby. Mind it’s only been open for 45 minutes and theres only my wife and I and another family here. My philly cheesesteak was undercooked they burnt my wife’s steak burger. I’m sorry Freddy’s but I won’t be back again.

Not sure what is it but I always feel off at this place and I can’t really put my finger on why. It feels dingy and not particularly super clean. The décor/atmosphere feels dated. The food feels higher priced than what it should be. The customer service has been inconsistent… sometimes it’s super great other times cold and detached. The custard concretes are the best part and I’ve had my fair share of them. And while I can say it’s good, it’s creamy and rich like it should be, that«special umph» is still missing. It just feels too processed even if that may not actually be the case. Something is just off! It’s decent once in a while to satisfy that sweet tooth but there are other options in the area.

Dropped by to get a concrete today. Noticed two things, first they do not clean the concrete mixer after every use. Milk spoils people. Secondly the floor where you stand to order was incredibly sticky. I mean old movie theatre sticky. If it is this bad where the customers are I can only imagine what the floor looks like behind the counter. Buyer beware…

Wanted a quick bite to eat while on the way home, so I came here in the drive thru for the very first time. Got a simple #1, asked for it plain and dry, meat and cheese only. He repeated the order for me word for word, and I got it quickly and went on my way since I was in a rush. The fries were pretty good, but the second I opened the burger I knew they had messed up and put everything on the burger. I was too far to go back so I ended up having to scrape off everything while in the car, which was incredibly annoying. I don’t expect fast food places to be perfect all the time, but I was the only car in the drive thru and how hard is it to make a burger with only meat and cheese? The burger ended up tasting incredibly greasy, so overall I was pretty disappointed. Customers orders should perhaps be checked before being handed out. My first impression of this place isn’t too great now, but I am intrigued in trying their frozen custard.

First time tasting their custard. I got the turtle sundae. OMG. Speaking of heaven on earth. I use to get this flavor from another restaurant. Notice I said use to. This sundae had hilts of pecans, Carmel and hot fudge. They did not scrimp on any topping. New fan.

I had a situation this week that fell under the«Lack of planning on my part does not constitute an emergency on your part» category. My husband’s birthday was this week and requested a frozen custard cake, which I promptly forgot about until the day of. I called this location just to see if they had any pre-made cakes in stock(which they did, but not any that my husband would’ve liked). I spoke with Tino, whom I believe to be the manager, and he told me they typically need 24 – 48 hours lead time to make one, which I had figured to be the case. I told him I didn’t plan well, so thank you anyway. He responded that he would ask his cake maker if she’d be able to make what I wanted right then. He took the time to answer all of my silly questions, such as what toppings were available, the size, pricing, when I could pick it up, all during the rush of their noon lunch hour. She started making the cake right then while I was on the phone and he told me I could pick it up that afternoon. It was ready when I picked it up and my husband loved the cake. Their service was stellar. As for why 4 stars — well, I hate to say it, but their other food, while really good, isn’t the best value I’ve seen for fast food. The portions are rather small for the price. But their service and food have always been good and their people polite. I’d give 4.5 if I could.

Well… Sadly we say farewell to Freddys today… Although the burger was amazing… Unlike ME. this Burger has LOST some weight… Wow…As my order number was called out, I jumped up to go grab my order, and yet I just stared at the Tray and walked back to the table… we both noticed. they just looked different, smaller… I will let the photo speak for itself… We very rarely eat fast food, but this WAS our go to Burger Fast Food Joint… I have eaten there enough to see the difference… Was eating there LONG before I started on Unilocal… Farewell Good Friend!

I love freddys. This location is great. They do a fantastic job training staff, are fast and really delicious juicy burgers. Custard is great too! Just wish fries were a little thicker but its a damn good burger

I had the best chili cheese fries yesterday. After several tough things, including a root canal, I hate to say it but those fries really saved the day. The manager was cool. The place was clean. Good burger, fast, friendly service.

Awesome Burger Place. Usually I don’t eat burgers that much. But when I do, this is the place I like to go to. The way that they make their burgers, using thin patties tastes and grilled onions makes my mouth drool. And their fries are damn good.!!

I have always really enjoyed Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers’ food! It’s always been super fast, and incredibly delicious. The burgers are decent sized, and the fries are always crispy(even after you add cheese ;D). The portions are generous, too! This place is on par with a Steak & Shake, but for my money, I like it even better. The custards are all smooth, cold, and there are so many different flavors and ways you can have them in a dessert. The only issue I’ve ever had at a Freddy’s(this one was in Pflugerville), was that some employee’s friend came in and apparently stacked a whole bunch of their drive-thru bags with religious pamphlets. It seemed totally out of place, so I called the store, mentioned it, and waited for a call back from the location’s manager. Not only did the manager call to apologize(and explain what had happened), but the district manger also called to explain. It was a really nice touch. If you’re in the mood for a thin-pattied burger, for shoestring thin fries with an extra crunch, and for custard that’s as smooth as velvet, head to your nearest Freddy’s! You won’t be sorry you did!

All my food was made fresh even though I was in the drive thru. Tasted decent for fast food fish and chips(onion rings in my case). And the Hawaiian concrete is delicious.

Consistently great service, consistently great food, employees are always diligently working to make restaurant cleaner when not helping customers. The general manager of this location is a customer service all star. Where can you go to a fast food place and have someone come to your table ask you if everything is okay? I work nearby and come here all the time for lunch.

Not worth the money. Couldn’t even taste the burger it was so flat. Like a crocheted doily. At least the custard was good!

We got their green chile burger. You know how when you’re holding a really good, juicy burger and it’s making a mess and mayo or whatever kinda drips out and you’re like omg I know I’m chewing but I can’t wait to take that next bite? I could review their ice cream but haven’t had one recently enough to be able to really describe it. Except to say they’re so good that that’s why I haven’t had one in awhile ;) And they have skinny fries.

Ran through the drive-thru for a shake. Shoulda gone to Sonic. I got the«Mini» chocolate malt with extra chocolate. It was small and pretty tasty, but cost almost FOURDOLLARS. They charged me 60 cents extra for a shot of extra chocolate. You could get a huge shake at Sonic and they don’t charge for extra. Not returning.

Hey look at me! I am just like Steak & Shake! Only not nearly as good… When you can drive past a place and think to yourself, «That looks like a cheap Steak & Shake knockoff,» it’s probably not a good sign. We ate here anyway because we needed something fast. I don’t regret the decision, but it certainly wasn’t a good decision either.

If you like the idea of enjoying«California Style Burgers» from a place that was originally from Chicago, then you need to head over to Freddy’s. This is somewhat similar to In-n-Out in its delivery. A fifties style restaurant, that also does the whole Custard thing. Steak Burgers are the patties, and the fries are the thin kind you would expect from this genre of restaurant. Onion Rings, Hot dogs, Grilled Cheese, Chicken tenders, Americana Cuisine to the MAX Delicious, cooked to order, Friendly service, and reasonable prices. There are several locations, I live near the one in P-Ville, so Its where I go for a yummy greasy burger, if I dont feel like driving to Might Fine or Carl’s Jr. in cedar park or round rock… So, if you’re near one and you are wondering if you should go… well then… comon, I think you already know the answer… GO!
