Best Buy Pflugerville

So, the saga continues. It has been 2 months since I ordered my refrigerator, 3 weeks since my first attempt to get customer service, and 8 days since I spoke with «manager» Chris who told me he was going to escalate my missing refrigerator issue (ordered 11÷9÷15 and today is 1÷3÷16) to his boss’s boss’s boss. Chris and I spoke on 12÷26÷15. He said the Best Buy escalation process works very well and that I should expect a call back that day or the next. It has been 8 days and still no call or idea when we will get a refrigerator that we have made 3 payments on. The escalation process is as broken as the order, delivery, and customer service processes at this Best Buy store.

We had issues w/​a 65″ TV for weeks– it wouldn’t turn on. I won’t go into the whole story, but it was a huge headache & a lot of trouble.
Kevin the store manager as well as Kevin the repair manager listened to everything that happened & went above & beyond to help us out.
Unfortunately I didn’t write down the name of the young man in the store who is with Geek squad but he was awesome too.
Tio also gave us top notch service.

Only good experience was a good price on the gas stove we bought. Other than that, very bad customer service. Slow, uninterested, unknowledgeable, long wait, phone service is horrible. Pay $ 50 more and go somewhere else. I’m easily satisfied, but this location is terrible.

Okay… so…the manager Chris, and Tia, the gal who sold us the fridge, tried very very hard to make this right. In the end, we did agree to have a different fridge delivered on Monday. They did give us $ 100 off our purchase price, too. So… they have retained me as a customer, at least for now.

We. Ordered a tv on Friday Told delivery would be Tuesday. Monday contacted by best b. Told it would be Friday. Checked with warehouse told none in stock. Cancelled order. Ordered from Amazon tv in home

I just had a horrible experience here. The associates here are so poorly trained. I bought a paddington DVD set that had a watch with it. As soon as we walked out to the car my daughter notice the watch was broken. I went back in and spoke to the guy right at the door, at first he told me that I could just go grab the other one and swap it out there. Then, he said that I needed to go to customer service and do a complete return because a digital copy of the movie was included in the set. When I finally got to the returns associate, hey lady, she told me that I didn’t need to initiate a full return that I could just swap and go. When I went to leave the store the guy told me I had to go back to customer service and do a return, that I could not just swap it out. When I went back and spoke to the lady associate in returns she was very very rude. I told her that I had to hurry up because I needed to pick my daughter up from her art class. She then proceeded to give me the rudest look and said «well you do know that I need to enter something to do that». As she looked at me with her snarky look, I told her of course you do. So then she proceeded to help the guy next to me while me and my daughter stood there and waited again. When I finally picked up the DVD and was going to go to the next available associate in return she grabbed it and slowly one by one entered the information, asked me for the receipt, and asked me for my drivers license. She took her time for sure. when I asked her for a manager she called and didn’t say a word to me. When I asked when the manager would be there she said I don’t know he’s walking around up sometime. Spoke to the manager told him my concerns, he really didn’t seem to care. Obviously these people need to be trained better because no one knows what is going on. When I was leaving finally, I told the guy at the front what happened and he looked at me and said well you should’ve told her that you had to return it instead of just exchanging. anyways, lesson learned I will never go back there and I will make sure to tell everyone how were these people are and incompetent.

I went here to purchase an adapter for my Mac. The associate that assisted me in the computers department was not only knowledgable around Apple products, but he was completely useless. After looking for about 2 minutes, I figured they didn’t have it and I was actually walking over to find a computer with internet access to see what store nearby did when he intercepted me. He asks if I need help so I tell him which adapter I’m looking for and he walks back over to where I just left and after a few seconds tells me, «oh yeah, we definitely don’t have that one.» Thanks Sherlock! He proceeds to suggest to me to check the Round Rock location «because they’re usually the best stocked on the Apple stuff.» What irked me about this shopping experience is the Best Buy employee didn’t even offer to check to see if Round Rock location even had it in stock. God forbid you work in customer service/​sales and they expect you to actually assist customers and sell stuff! Silly me.
I ended up deriving to SIX other Best Buy stores and NONE had this adapter in-​stock. Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter — PLEASE READ THIS AND PRODUCT REQUEST THESE (SKU: 5 855 333). If I didn’t have Best Buy Rewards I would’ve purchased this at Fry’s or the Apple Store at the Domain.

This is a good Best Buy location. The staff in the TV section helped me with obtaining my new tv about a month ago. I was disappointed in the delivery service which was delayed by 5 days instead of the overnight which is was supposed to be; that’s the delivery departments fault from Dallas.

I have never been so pissed in my life! I had every intention of walking into best buy today and spending $ 3,000 on two brand new appliances for our new home. I did my research and compared their prices to EVERYONE on line. Found the fridge I wanted on line after putting in email address and such just to get price… $ 2,299! I was thrilled, printed said price at WORK BECAUSE I WORK UNTIL 8 pm Saturday’s. We go in and I show them the printed price from less than 24 hrs ago and they WONT HONOR IT!!! It’s now $ 2,999! Manager said he couldn’t do anything about it! Biggest crock of shit I have ever heard. If I wasn’t in management at a car dealership and deal with honoring prices on a daily basis I probably would have paid that much, but I’m not an idiot!
Went straight to Home Depot and gladly spent my $$$$ and got a price LOWER than best buy! I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN ANOTHER BEST BUY AGAIN!

Every rep I’ve dealt with either didn’t know what they were doing or was rude… Or both
They couldn’t even activate my SIM card… they told me they’re not responsible for doing that and I should go to AT&T?
The original guy we talked to (who no longer works there) said we would have our original SIM card with the new phone. He was wrong. There was sensitive information we needed from text messages on that SIM card so it would’ve been nice if someone had asked us it we wanted to hang on to it while they shipped a new phone.
EVERYONE behind that geek squad counter was rude… I mean really rude.
Geek squad insurance policy is great but the customer service sucks.

The good. The A/​C in this place rocks!
The bad. Bought a printer that came highly recommended from one of their «non-​commissioned» sales people. It’s ok unless you unplug it, at which point you pull your hair out trying to figure how to unfuck the whole printing wirelessly process.
The ugly. Wanted to put my wife on my Best Buy credit card account. Went to this location, was pointed to guest services. The two ladies working were the farthest thing from helpful I’ve about ever experienced. Told me it couldn’t be done there. Couldn’t be done online. Had to call Best Buy.
Turns out you can do it online. Rather simply I might add. Perplexing, I know.
We also went to the Home Depot right down the road to have the same thing done. The lady at the customer service desk got us squared away quick. No fuss at all. Made the lack of help at BB especially glaring.
Maybe the ladies working customer service at Best Buy should change jobs. Like, say, the government, where they’d get to say no all the time with no explanation.

Drive 5 mins down the road to the round rock location. You will have a larger selection of items. This store is always limited on options

The lady helping me was nice. but this store is wack!
I went in looking for a SIMPLE TV power cord, which they did not carry. They sell the Samsung TVs but no cords? Not one person greeted me when I walked in, but it was okay, leave me alone so I can get my shit and get up OUT of here. After seeing they didn’t have what I needed, I hopped on over to Radio Shack and found it.

Terrible Best Buy! No two employees give the same answer. I live right next to this store but I would rather drive to the one near 45/​IH 35. Asked every two secs if I am okay and one guy even after I said I was fine made a comment under his breathe, «Well fine!» I don’t need your help and I know more about the product then you do so don’t waste my time!

Great experience trading in my old iphone & upgrading to an iphone 5 here! Albert was very helpful in explaining the whole process. In and out in under an hour!

Congrats, Best Buy, you get to be my 100^th review. Technically, you should be number 101, but I’ve decided to let my 5 star review of this place be the 100^th, and my 1star review of the Best Buy in Round Rock be my 101^st review.
After having crappy customer service at the Round Rock Best Buy, I was a little hesitant about hitting up another store. However, I really wanted to take advantage of the $ 99 sale that Best Buy was having on their Samsung Galaxy S3 phones, so I hit up this new store in Pflugerville.
I was immediately greeted by Mary, who was finishing up with a customer, and told me she would be with me in a quick moment. Maybe a minute later, she was free, and we chatted.
I told her that I wanted to buy 2 Samsung Galaxy S3 phones, both white, and that I explained that one would be an upgrade for an existing phone line, and the other would be a new additional line on my account. She took it all in stride, (even though she mentioned being somewhat new), and off we went to get started on the process.
Mary was very sweet. When a few questions popped up that she didn’t know the answer to, she called Paul over, who helped as well. He was also very good. I’m glad she asked for his assistance to get the right answer, instead of just guessing. I don’t expect every sales associate to know the answer to every question, so I appreciate when they seek out others who can give the correct answers.
When all was said and done, I left the store with my 2 new phones and a smile on my face. I like this store, and I know I’ll be back. Round Rock lost their chance to make a sale with me, so I happily gave my money to Pflugerville. :)

Just had a horrible experience at Best Buy at the Stone Hill in Pflugerville. Looks like I’m the first review.
My mistakes were clear, I bought a cheap Toshiba laptop. It broke within five months and I can assure you it was not from neglect, abuse or accident. (see warranty, yup, not really covered by warranty regardless)
Best Buy’s mistakes were also self-​evident. Upon bringing the damaged laptop to the ‘Geek Squad’ I was told everything was going to be ok and properly covered. After signing papers clearly stating everything was covered, I head on back home. About five minutes later they call me to say ‘Whoopsie.’
Granted, I was not pissed walking into the store the first time nor would I have been, had I been told, in store, my warranty was not covered. However, there is something infuriating about having to turn around in rush hour traffic because someone didn’t do their job correctly.
I’ve no intentions of paying $ 200 to fix a $ 500 laptop that in my mind should be under warranty. I suppose that battle truly lies with Toshiba and not Best Buy. However, failure to perform one’s job properly is what really pissed me off here. Had I been told the damage was not covered in the store this wouldn’t be an issue. However, Dustin, with his super sweet skull and crossbones tattoo and his sweetie’s name inked into his arm, failed to tell me this. Even though I had already signed the paperwork, how nice.
Then I spoke with the manager, Andrew, who seemed like he was smiling the whole time he was jesting that this was ‘probably’ not covered under warranty and I would probably have to throw down $ 100 – 200 to fix the problem. I returned to the store, pissed, and was handed my laptop back by a young Danuel Pipoly, who may have actually been Andrew, I didn’t confirm. He told me to have a nice day on my way out of the store.
Done with Best Buy, forever.
