Automax Service & Repair

I needed a repair done in order to get my vehicle inspected. After a recommendation from a co-​worker, I called Automax to see if they could work on my car that day. I was told to bring it in and never heard anything else from them that day. I called the next morning and was told they never got to my car yesterday but they were getting ready to bring it back. Why would you have me bring my car in when you didn’t even have time to look at it?! Around noon, I got a phone call explaining what he found. He told me I either needed a new gas tank (doesn’t that mean the car becomes worthless?) or he could patch it with some epoxy stuff that may or may not solve the problem. He would not guarantee his work. I asked him how much everything would cost and he told me he hadn’t figured that out yet. Don’t you think that is important information to share with me? He did stay late to get my car back to me because I’m pretty sure he knew I was pissed off. I know car repairs are never fun but don’t make it more stressful than it already is…
