My old 1997 Buick La Sabre had its first major problem while attending a conference in Crestwood, KY, near Louisville, 100 miles north of my home. I have AAA, but the least expensive package that allows free towing up to 3 whole miles (I’ve got to upgrade that). I was about to panic and then I remembered « Unilocal.» I searched nearby auto repair and found Pewee Valley Auto Service at the top of the page with 4.5 stars, 1.1 miles from where I was, and reviews that gave me confidence to give them a try. Bob, the owner answered my call and was actually able to diagnose my problem over the phone. After Bob told me all kinds of things about my make and model of car I was sure he knew what e was doing so I had my car towed there while I completed the conference. I was very pleased with the friendliness of the entire team; also to be commended is the promptness, proficiency, and honesty. And the pricing is reasonable as well. I’m not sure that I could have done better anywhere.

I took my Lexus here after a family member told me they really know what they are doing here and they are people you can trust. It is hard to find a honest mechanic who really is an expert at what they do, now find that at reasonable prices… good luck. You can always go to the Lexus dealer to get it done right, but you pay the premium price. Save yourself a ton of money and get the same quality work done here. I now have my second car in getting work done and have no doubt it will be done correctly.

I’ve only taken my vehicle to this shop once, but I feel like they were honest and did a good job with the repair. If I were a repeat customer and received the same level of service on multiple visits, I’d have no problem giving them 5 stars.
Besides actually calling you back when they say they will, there was no hard sell for additional services.
Ask for Bob, he’s as friendly and helpful as you could possibly hope for…
