I’ve eaten here three times. The first time we dined, I brought friends, we arrived in time for happy hour~~ their website states happy hour is between 4−7pm. $ 5 martinis and $ 9 specialty rolls. The $ 5 martinis were fantastic! Dinner? Well… rolls were just OK. I wasn’t «Wowed», but it wasn’t bad either. 3.5 stars for this dining experience. The second time, I dined, I brought my family. I asked the waitress if there were specific drink specials for happy hour. She looked like a deer in headlights… had no idea if there were any specials and didn’t even know there was a happy hour! Since I was so happy with my $ 5 martini the last time, I ordered one again and had to tell the waitress that it is posted on the website… once again, sushi was OK. Not great, not bad. 3 stars for this experience. Tonight is was the third and last time I will dine there. The waiter was nice and very polite. When I asked about drink specials again for happy hour(it was 5:45pm), his answer was $ 4 wine, and $ 5 tall rail drinks — no mention of the $ 5 martinis. Our total bill for three people was nearly $ 100. We get the bill and were charged $ 6 for each of the drinks, $ 12 for each specialty roll. I get that I should have said something… but fighting over a bill is not civilized. 1 star for this experience GETITSTRAIGHTSLICE ‘N DICE! Bait and switch makes people unhappy. Remove your specials from your website if you aren’t going to honor them. Diners should not have to ask to be billed correctly. Happy hour makes me happy. When I get suckered in by false advertising, I am unhappy…

A sleeper of a great restaurant! Wonderful food — interesting combinations, good presentation and tasted great! Beautiful view of Pewaukee Lake from the dining room and the outdoor patio. Had the vegetable tempura(not my favorite — only had sweet potatoes and squash) and seaweed salad to start. Then we had a shrimp special, the asparagus wrapped in ribeye steak(yummy!) and a variety of rolls. Rolls were bite-sized(didn’t have any weird double-bites that leave food falling everywhere) and tasty. Great dinner! Main complaint is that the service was sloooooooow. We were one of 3 tables and it took forever to get out food.

The fact that this dive is do highly rated only shows people around here don’t know what sushi is. The sushi here is awful, not fresh, the rice is chewy. The service is slow. I have been here twice and both times it took over 45 minutes to get our food. I will never be going here again.

We LOVE this place. We’ve gone upwards of 10 times since moving to the area last May, and I have never had something I didn’t like. The best kept secret is the half price menu on Sunday. Seriously cannot beat it.

Great location and nice décor. Their ginger lychee sakitini is awesome and a must try if u like ur drinks a little sweet and interesting. Tried a number of items from the menu and everything was great. A must try for sushi lovers in Milwaukee. Service was slow but they comped one of the many drinks.

Finally sushi on the lake! We were a little skeptical because of the lack of clientele, but after we sat down outside more people showed up. I was also skeptical because I’ve lived in Pewaukee for years and know this location has seen many restaurants in it’s time. I had read reviews prior to coming here so had a better idea of what to order. We started with edamame which came out pretty fast and kept our hunger at bay until the food arrived. This would be my only complaint — the sushi was a little slow to come out. It was definitely worth the wait though! We ordered a signature roll… Champion roll — very good! And two regular rolls — Wasabi Tuna and California roll. The wasabi tuna was great. The California Roll was ok. It’s a staple roll so we knew what to expect. For two people it was just enough food. Overall, I’d say I’m pretty excited to have this place so close to home! Good sushi for a reasonable price. I will definitely be coming back to try some of the other signature rolls!

This place absolutely rocks! I recommend sitting at the bar where your attentive chefs will create for you the freshest dish of sushi, sashimi or slice n dice. The chefs are very creative with sauces. You will be delighted. The Hama Hama oysters on the half shell with a glass of Chardonnay were excellent. The service was very good. The patio is now open. They are open for lunch. Excellent! My new favorite restaurant ! Check out their Facebook page.

Not impressed with the sushi. Our family has sushi multiple times a month and live near location. If you enjoy a Wisconsin twist on sushi, then this is your place. Décor was nice.

Stopped here after work on a Thursday to check it out after having driven by numerous times. It’s definitely quiet, we were one of three tables but I can’t figure out why! This area doesn’t have all that many options for sushi and considering they have an outdoor patio facing Pewaukee Lake it feels like an obvious choice! My friend and I made it there during happy hour and enjoyed $ 5 glasses of wine and a $ 4 appetizer. Happy hour also includes $ 9 specialty rolls which was a great surprise. We started with the egg rolls which were tasty but nothing to write home about. The sushi was really what left us impressed. We split 4 rolls. The California roll was good, typical staple roll. The Sesame Chicken was a nice change up to the usual suspects on a sushi menu. Our two favorites by far were the special rolls that came by recommendation from our server. We tried the Signature Slice and the Champion Roll, the later was our absolute favorite. We were hesitant but thrilled with the result. The rolls were a decent size, well rolled and bursting with flavor. Service was good, attentive without being overwhelming. Wasn’t a speedy meal, but we weren’t in any hurry. All in all, quite pleased and already looking forward to my next visit.

I cannot believe this place doesn’t have a business page yet. It is a hidden gem! Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had, and I’ve had it a few dozen places. My family and I visited this place after deciding to try something new. We usually go to a sushi restaurant in Waukesha but read about this place in a magazine and wanted to try it out. Boy are we glad we did! The place is decorated very nicely, and our service was excellent. They have a full bar, as well as all the sake you could want. All of our food was fresh and extremely delicious. No complaints about anything! Here’s what we had: Tuna Crudo Spring Rolls — highly recommend Chipotle Crab Wontons — was a special, also very good Wasabi tuna roll — great wasabi flavor… really clears out your sinuses! Signature slice roll — so so so so good. Get it. Right now. Champion roll — divine. Crabby roll — also a special of the night. Wasn’t our favorite, but we enjoyed it all the same All in all our bill was about $ 120 for the above food and probably 3 rounds of drinks. Prices are definitely comparable to other sushi restaurants. If you can make the drive to Pewaukee, you have to check this place out!
