Dave’s Boot Shop

I’ve shopped at Dave’s for years, purchased probably 4 pairs of shoes/​boots every year. They are wonderful at helping me find the right pair of shoes, and they carry awesome brands. I used to describe them as my favorite shoe store, and I probably still would if they had a better return policy for defective merchandise. I purchased a pair of shoes that was in the $ 100 range, wore them 5 times, and they came apart. It was obvious the shoes were not mistreated on my part. Their policy is to send the shoe back to the manufacturer, and let you know which percentage of the purchase they will refund. I think it was a 3 – 4 week process for me to get my money back. No wait— Dave’s doesn’t give you money back, I got an in store credit. All of the great service I had at Dave’s went right out the window with that one experience. Now I limit my purchases in their store to brands that I’m confident with their quality (Keen, or Born).

Great selection of shoes. Very Friendly service with good knowledge of all the shoes they offer. Great quality shoes too. Highly recommend this place to someone that is looking for a shoe that will last.

I’ve shopped at Dave’s several times over the last few years. Great selection of quality shoes, prices seem relatively fair. I do have issue with their hours of operation however. They are only open 10 to 5:30 pm weekdays?! Seems they are marketing to the unemployed, vacationers and tourists. What about local folks who work for a living and would like to purchase shoes/​boots at you store after 5:30 pm in the evening? Dave’s should stay open later in the evenings.
