Nice little museum in the Middle of Petersburg. Although there isn’t a lot there, (and I didn’t take more than 1 photo) I was greeted by a woman who gladly showed me around the building and it’s history as a bank. Since only the 1st floor of the bank is open to visitors, there is not a huge exhibit area but the bank safe room contains exhibits as well as a refurbished room meant to look like the bank before the Civil War.
If you are touring Petersburg National Battlefield or Pamplin Historic Park and you want to take a break and head into historic Petersburg, this would be an excellent and quick stop!
