Grove & Main Antiques

Grove and Main is a precious jewel located in Peterborough, NH that focuses on high quality linens, antique furniture and other home décor — all wrapped in charm. The owner frequents France and Canada and her eclectic style runs through out her sweet shop. I’ve purchased many pieces of her fine linen that I’ve made into cushion covers and roman shades. I also regularly visit Grove and Main to get ideas for decorating… and have even chatted with a local artisan who makes the most fabulous wool art figures from sheep to roosters. It’s a regular for me!

Today I stopped in at Grove & Main Antiques while passing through Peterborough and found it to be a nice little shop.
This antique shops had a nice selection of home décor as well as linens in other home goods. Some of my favorite items were the unique glassware that they had, but ultimately my favorite were their selection of skeleton key. This store had a pile of skeleton keys from both France and the United States, and the nice thing was that they were cleaned and well taken care of.
This little store was packed full with items but felt a little tight because of its small size. Towards the rear of the store it had a sales nook which was filled with some fun items, but overall the prices were pretty high compared to other antique shops.
The store owner was extremely polite and willing to strike up a conversation, but be prepared to drop some change if shopping here.
