Awesome service! The girls here have amazing customer service and are always friendly. I like that they also have local fruits and vegetables. I will continue to shop here and recommend it to people.

Super impressed! All there stuff was fresh! I don’t understand the other reviews saying they had expired stuff! I can’t believe they had so much stuff! I could practically go there instead of safeway or lucky’s. they even had tomato sauces, pasta noodles, milk, frozen meals like stoufer’s and packaged meats like salami… I checked the expiration dates and everything was within check like you would find in a regular grocery store! Amazing! I’m going to make this my go-to grocery store!

This place super unfriendly. Prices are reasonable for some produces but most of them are over priced. I will never go there again.

One of the best shopping opportunities in Sonoma County. Anyone who thinks their prices are anything shy of amazing can’t add or just enjoys the art of negative opinion writing. The customer service is excellent. The batting average for freshness is stellar. What more could you want? And… the 1950’s vibe is cool and completely NON-corporate.There is no grocery store that can come close to the service and prices they provide. 97 stars

I have shopped at the Palace of Fruit for years. However, today, I went and stood behind a gentleman that was being helped… then another man stood behind me. Another employee came out and helped the guy BEHIND me before helping me. Yes, they are of one culture, but I was ignored… And, I thought it was rude that the two women employees thought it was OK to help someone who looked like their brother… Will not be going back.

I love this place! I stop here all the time because I live close by. Always a great selection of fruits and vegetables… very fresh. They also have lots of other things you can get as well. Nice employees. The people who leave negative comments don’t know what they’re talking about. I’ve been here probably around 100 times and have never had a bad experience.

Today was the third time I have purchased expired perishable food from this business recently. The hotdogs I purchased today are 9 days past expiration. The fruit is often«on its last leg»… too bad, because we live close by.

I feel bad giving Palace of Fruit anything other than five stars because everyone else loves this place but… I’m not a fan. The prices are not that great and the selection was slightly better than Safeway. Went out of my way to go here based on all the rave reviews but I won’t be going out of my way to shop here again.

I love love love this place! I love everything about it. I try to buy my produce from there as much as possible. Yesterday I went in and bought a bunch of apples, bananas, strawberries, brussel sprouts, asparagus, avocados, bell peppers, lettuce and a bottle of balsamic vinegar. and the total was only $ 21!!! I couldn’t believe it! Everything was so fresh and so delicious! Another amazing thing about this stand is the wine selection! Who would have thought they had some of my favorite wines!?!

This place has been in Penngrove my entire 42 years + and I’ve been eating their fruit the entire time, no joke! My parents started shopping here in the 60’s, and I go there once a week to get the freshest, cheapest fruit next to a farmer’s market! Prices are BETTER than a farmer’s market! and you can get regular groceries as well! This place ROCKS!
