A true delight. Get the local strawberry. It honestly tastes like they have a strawberry bush outside and put them in ice cream. And they clearly use quality cream. The service is good too. They precious crew is patient and accommodating. The parlor is old school style too. So, if you’re looking for a break for trendy fro yo, get back to the basics at Lala’s. You will be so glad you stopped through the quaint town of Petaluma, after trying Lagunitas, and finishing up with a sundae or banana split.

I LOVE Lala’s Creamery! It’s homemade and decorated like a 60s’ ice cream parlor! They are generous and my family goes there when ever we are around that area! I love the location, near Starbucks and Copperfields! The ice cream tastes delicious and its homemade! They serve tons of sweet stuff! I am in love with Lala’s! This is my favorite ice cream parlor!

LOVED the ice cream here. I kept seeing people around town walking around with an ice cream cone and I was getting major ice cream FOMO. Glad I looked up and saw where these magical cones were coming from! I tried the honey & goat cheese(really cool, savory ice cream) and the local strawberry. Fell in love with the local strawberry and got a scoop of it «to share» with my hubby(aka I ate the whole thing before he even had a chance to look at it). Very cute shop, everyone was friendly there. Definitely recommend if you’re in town!

Honey goat Cheese Ice Cream. If I lived closer I’d weigh 500 pounds because I’m completely smitten with the ice cream. I can’t really do it justice in a review but the texture is the first thing I noticed, it’s thick almost like gelato and coats your mouth The ice cream is sweet but not cloying. The staff is super friendly and patient. Expect a line … use the wait time to fantasize about which flavor you want. And sample one or two, it would be a shame not to!

The atmosphere is cute and the service is friendly, but the reason to come here is for the lovely flavors. Between four of us, we had almond joy(coconut milk-based), goat cheese & honey, honey & lavender, meyer lemon curd with poppyseed, nutella and strawberry. All the flavors were excellent, but the three that stood out were the meyer lemon curd w/poppyseed, the honey & lavender, and the goat cheese & honey. Seriously, these three were so phenomenal that I’m furiously googling recipes to make them at home(well, I actually already make a honey & lavender, but still…). The pricing is a bit high. But when I say it’s a bit high, I mean it’s in line with all the ice creameries these days, all of which I find to be priced a bit high. Not even a question as to whether we’d come back when we return to Petaluma(which tends to be every Mother’s Day as I love me some Lagunitas). It will be our on-the-way-home stop forevermore.

Five stars! Five stars! If you’re having dinner in the area, save room for dessert and head here! Most adorable ice cream spot ever. It fits the sweet downtown Petaluma vibe. I ordered a scoop of cookies and cream. Definitely memorable. They also have non-dairy options. My sister ordered the peanut butter and chocolate. Not really my thing but my sister loved it. I wish I could post a picture of my ice cream scoop but I ate too fast and forgot to snap a pic.

Just come and rate for yourself. Had a peanut butter and jelly ice cream and it brought me back to the days where they only packed me PB&J sandwiches all thru grade school. Tasted goat cheese with honey. This place is amazingly a gem for Petaluma. Be right back… #SOLitFood

Oh goodness. I really wanted to love this sweet local spot. Hubby and I stopped by to eat ice cream for dinner on Friday night. It’s so super cute though! I’ll blame the 3 stars on our ice cream choices and we will be back for a do over the next time we are in the area. I ordered a single scoop of grasshopper and mint chip(you can combine for an extra .50) and what was the disappointing was proportion of «goodies» to ice cream. Too much ice cream, barely any goodies. For example, where was the chips in my mint chip ice cream? Where was the crushed oreos in my grasshopper. It almost felt I ordered a single«mint» ice cream. The flavor was pretty strong and there a slight aftertaste upon finishing. I fixed that with some chocolate I stashed in the car. Hubby ordered the coffee stout, but he literally got the bottom of the barrel, never a good thing and he had buyers remorse for what he did. It was quite icy he said. Nevertheless, we will head back, but I guess I should try other local creameries as well. We’ll see :)

I was on a mommy daughter date when we saw their sign advertising home made ice cream. We’ve been looking for a new ice cream parlour since we’ve moved back to Santa Rosa, so I decided to give them a try. As we were walking in the door I noticed the words«old fashioned sodas,» and started to get excited. The shop is cute as a button. The employees are all very nice. The only negative I had was when I asked about the old fashioned sodas, she thought I meant Italian sodas.nope. Then she asked root beer float? She finally got another employee who helped me decide to try an old fashioned black and white, and WOW!!! It was so yummy! The ice cream was pretty good, but we’ll be going back for the old fashioned sodas.

I’ve been here on several occasions and I can say that I throughly love it. I love the old school ice cream parlor vibe. They did a great job decorating the interior for that vintage vibe. They only use top quality ingredients like Clover, and Strauss creamery etc. and they only use Hershey chocolate, and to me that is what makes them amazing. The flavors are spot on. I have had their traditional sundae and it is perfect in every way! One time we were in, and they messed up someone’s order, so they asked me if I wanted it? Hell yeah!!! That was my first affagato, espresso poured over vanilla ice cream. I have been getting those at places ever since. Lol. In all I think Lala’s is out of this world! And I’d highly recommend it!!!

Amazing Ice Cream! Handmade. I just loved how soft the texture of the cream was and how it melted in my mouth. Their Salted Caramel is one of their top sellers, I went with their Candied Ginger and it was delicious! Little chunks of ginger within the Ice Cream. As well as good ice cream they have an overall good vibe to the store itself. I recommend if you are in the area to check out this Creamery. Best Ice Cream I’ve had in the Northern California Area.

I love this place! The ice cream is fantastic. I love the Hot Fudge Sundaes. This place can get pretty busy so it might take some time to get your order but the employees are great and work fast when there is a line to the door. If you’re in Petaluma stop in and try one of their seasonal flavors.

Best ice cream this side of the Mississippi and trust me, I’ve looked. Homemade scoops and the only place on the west coast you will find a hot fudge Sunday with marshmallow topping. If you haven’t tried this, now’s the time: mint chip, chocolate something or other, hot fudge, marshmallow, cherry on top. If you agree, reply back and let the Unilocalers know.

This place is located in a cute little shop downtown. Its always busy and the décor is old fashioned. If you like coconut you have to try their coconut ice cream, it is on point for flavor! It’s inexpensive for such great quality! Love this place!

Strolled into this very cute authentic looking old fashioned ice cream parlor because it was an unbearably hot day. Apparently many folks felt the same, as the place was packed. They were, fortunately, staffed sufficiently to move things along quite efficiently. Staff was extremely courteous as well, despite the onslaught of customers clamoring for some of their creamy frozen delights. All of the ice cream is made in house and there are some very interesting selections on their seasonal menu. A warning though on their mint chocolate chip ice cream… it is extremely Minty! I enjoyed my flavor selection of chocolate, and the ice cream was pleasantly creamy. Next time I will be more adventurous and try something different like butter pecan or cookies and cream. They do let you sample before making your selection, but we did not realize this until after we ordered. Worth a visit if you have a need to satisfy your sweet tooth or like me today, in desperate need of a cold delight on a hot day.

My friend suggested this place because she has been there many times and loves it! We walked into a charming little ice cream shop with black & white tiled floors and red stools at the«bar.» My friend recommended the cookies & cream and it didn’t disappoint– so good! I also saw salted caramel and had to try it! Both were amazing! I don’t go to Petaluma often but now I know a great ice cream place there!

Was checking out the area for the day and this being a local ice cream spot it popped out at me right away… Considering the area(not much diversity compared to the rest of the bay) they have a great variety of flavors. Their peanut butter and jelly popped out at me most though so I decided to try that along with cookie dough. The flavors were perfectly distributed, more on the dense creamy side but not very rich. Was overall was pretty solid. My sister got their chocolate raspberry shake. and the raspberry flavor was pretty much nonexistent. Still good but pretty disappointed. This place is more of a 3.5 stars in comparison to other shops in the bay area but still very good at that! I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here unless I had already tried every ice cream spot in the bay closer to home, but if you’re in Petaluma it is worth the visit(=
