Carolynn’s Montessori For Toddlers

I had 3 children attend Carolynn’s and she is the most amazing teacher and person! My kids were all well prepared for Kindergarten and are still striving at 4^th grade. Carolynn teaches in a way where the kids are actively involved. My very tactile son was in heaven. I also took Carolynn’s positive discipline class and it changed my life for the better. I am convinced her class made me a better mother. I hold Carolynn in the highest regard.

My daughter who is now 8-​years-​old and in 2^nd grade started at Carolynn’s Montessori when she wasn’t even walking yet (so technically not even a toddler).
What a great cozy, safe place to start her love of learning — about animals, different cultures, etc.
Carolynn helped plant the seed in her mind that continues to bloom and grow — to stay curious, creative and respectful of all beings.

Carolynn is AMAZING with toddlers. She has years of experience, and it shows. My daughter can’t wait to get out the door and out to school — and ALL the children love her. She teaches ‘positive discipline’ workshops and really knows how to keep a peaceful environment — which is exactly what my daughter needs, being that she is a sensitive one… Shes has a beautiful, quaint space in which the children thrive in!

Our son loves going to Carolynn’s. When I say we are visiting Carolynn’s, he runs to the door yelling, «Visit Carolynn’s! Visit Carolynn’s!» We can’t get out the door fast enough. And he always comes home with new phrases or idea about what is going on around him. He’s not even two, yet, and we see his mind is open a little bit more each time he comes home.
It is run out of her home, but it is a separate, good-​size, room. In addition, the children go out back and play in an amazing play-​yard. They also help garden and feed the chickens and clean up.
Carolynn is wonderful with the children. She really understands them, since she has been working with kids for many years. Her experience shows and helps us, since this is our first child. Her two assistants, Joanie and Geneva are also fabulous. They are all so patient and understanding with the kids.
We couldn’t be happier with where we send our son.
