We had great omelets for breakfast. The service was prompt and courteous. The Boulevard Café will be at the top of our breakfast list.

A surprise find in Petaluma! Great food, friendly service, and large portion sizes. I had the the chicken fried steak and it was awesome! Definitely coming back!

Stopped in for breakfast with my wife. Many menu selection and food was good. Service was outstanding. One of the owners, Danial, was seving. He is very friendly, attentive. He is the kind of guy who, if you come regularly, will remember your name. In any case he makes you feel right at home.

They have a great meeting room that is off to the side of the restaurant with a 70 or 80 inch TV that is perfect for doing a presentation. I do buffet style food that is always delicious. The restaurant is not open at night, but they will do evening meetings upon request. They also do mobile catering for us when meetings are in Santa Rosa. OK enough about that. I had an avocado cheeseburger that was absolutely perfect. Cooked medium at my request the patty was huge and cooked well. The best part was that as big as it was, it didn’t fall apart and was easy to eat. Great staff and service. Call Daniel(owner) and set up a meeting or stop by for some good café food.

This used to be the old Sambos diner. I met Danny’s wife Mariu. They are very nice. They were kind of mixed up about my tea. And I ordered a egg white vegetable omelette they messed up but Danny fixed it right away. I remember when Danny worked at Jeromes in the Osh shopping center so he knows his way around a grill. He was nice about his mistakes and gave us 10% off our check.

I love coming here for lunch! You have an old school diner atmosphere and it’s generally not very busy. This place gets a lot of regulars. Mostly elderly that I’m sure come in often. Staff is always super nice! Lunch menu is great and the best part– it’s super cheap! Try it!

This little café, out of the 60’s, is Petaluma’s best breakfast and lunch place to eat. If it’s not on the menus, they will make it for you. Today I had the ribs with old fashion macaroni salad. With out question the best in town. Good food, good prices, friendly staff.

Visited The Boulevard this last Sunday(11−15−15). Arrived 15 minutes ahead of my sisters — visiting from L.A.) — to get a table and to get a look since this was my first time going there. I don’t know Petaluma so looked on Unilocal to find a good place for breakfast. Long story short, the food was okay but lukewarm. I don’t know if that was because it sat for so long before we received our food 30 minutes after we ordered.

I love this place. It’s your good old fashion home town diner. It’s a small business with local owner and employees. There’s a great meeting room in the back or sit in the main diner and watch the boulevard. I’ve tried many things on the menu and haven’t had a bad meal yet.

Danny and his family have an amazing thing going here. His breakfasts are enormous, and very well prepared. The steaks are fresh, and depending on when you are there, and what your view point of the kitchen is(We are counter eaters) you can sit and watch him cut and prep them. Danny makes some of the best fresh fruit juices I have ever had. He can do a various veggie fruit mix, or have some of the tastiest orange juice squeezed to order. His burgers are incredible, perfectly cooked, and the fries are light and crispy. You never want for anything, if Danny isn’t checking on you personally one of his daughters is. His mexican specialties are some of the secret gems of the menu, and a must try. The omelets light and fluffy and filled to the brim. The old school building is well maintained and clean, and in my opinion capture the family owned business of a casual diner, with great people perfectly. Come a couple of times, and they will all know you by name.

This is my go-to brunch place in the area. They’re a diner as a diner should be. Quiet atmosphere, simple interior, friendly«sit anywhere» staff. I always go on lazy weekdays, right before lunch. Eggs benedict with hashbrowns on the side, that’s what you should order. That’s what I always order, it’s the best. And some coffee, keep you going through your day. Hashbrowns are a good crispy consistency, and the benedict is perfect every time. You wont be disappointed.

3 or 4 stars… somewhere in the middle, so I rounded up. I was getting my car worked on own the street. I was looking for breakfast and after walking up and down Petaluma Blvd for a better option(there were no other options), I walked back and gave it a go. Old school exterior and interior(don’t be scared away by its unassuming looks like I almost was). A number of locals inside(the cowboy hats and rancher look gave them up). I was greeted promptly by the waiter and told to sit wherever I wanted. I ordered quickly and my food came pretty quick too. I ordered the bacon scramble with coffee. Coffee never ran dry. The scramble was pretty good. I’d definitely go back whenever I take my car back to Petaluma for some work. I’ll no longer walk by and look for a better option.

My wife & I stopped by for breakfast before going to SFO for flight out. The waiter greeted us well & made feel welcome. He was professional & attentive. The French dip was my wife’s 1st choice. But the diner was out of the beef needed to make the sandwich. So her 2nd choice was a pastrami sandwich. It was typical. I selected the steak & eggs with hash brown. The meat was tough & lacked seasoning. It was a bit dry even though I ordered medium rare. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The hash brown was good. Half way through our meal, a crowd came in. Our waiter was the only server. He was running ragged. Yet he still served us well. Obviously, this diner has its fans. We are not sure we are among them.

Dated building outside, classic coffee shop inside. Unsure how my logic works, as I figured the joint had to be okay if it’s across from the police station.(?) Absurd logic aside… it was good! Excellent cheddar & ham scram, and a really good burger. We were both happily surprised. If I found myself hungry in Petaluma between 07:00 — 15:00, I would absolutely go back.

This was a great solution to my hangries. We tried to go to Wishbone @ 10am on Sunday. Ha. The waiting line is like an iceberg. The 7 cold souls standing outside means there are 14 more inside! Enter Boulevard. Yes, it’s a little like stepping into a 60’s timewarp. You almost expect women with beehives and horn rimmed glasses and a haze of smoke, but there isn’t. Just your average Petaluma folk. The food is California fare with a Mexican bent. I honestly can say I’ve never seen Chilaquiles on a diner menu before! We sat in the back where the Rotary Club(?) meets every Friday @ 7:15am. It’s a little… different back there. Either our table(or the floor) wasn’t level. Next time I think I would wait to sit in the front. More 60’s ambiance! The service/staff is excellent(I consistently had coffee without having to ask). The food is pretty good(although I’m still not sold on toasted biscuits). The company… that was my fault.

Delicious, hearty breakfast! We stopped here to fill our stomachs before a day of wine tasting in Healdsburg, and I’m so glad we did. The atmosphere is nothing special — just a typical diner. The food is really good though, and they give you a lot of it for very reasonable prices. They also serve Tazo tea, which was a nice surprise. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a big, no-frills breakfast in Petaluma.

A classic diner experience, good coffee shop coffee. I ordered pancakes which were absolutely perfect. a little cinnamon, yum. Hint *squeeze a bit of your orange slice into the maple syrup. Quiet and friendly on a late Monday morning. :-D

As far as diners are concerned, this is one of the better ones. However the atmosphere of the restaurant could easily be improved with a few minor changes. This diner is great for large groups, especially those who have little ones. But if you are looking for a unique dining experience, there are far better choices just blocks away.

Classic American diner. This is not hipster, not farm-to-table, just a really, reliable, American diner. The manager, main guy, is super nice, accommodating, patient and helpful. Classic American breakfast was executed well for the most part. The standouts? — Sourbread sandwich with avocado and bacon — delicious — Southwest/Mexican omelette — also done very well — grilled fresh jalapenos(delicious) Could use some improvement? the hashbrowns — could be a bit crispier. You don’t come to this place for ambiance — you come here for the service, the staff and the unbelievable good prices(Our party of 9 had brunch for less than $ 75AND we had leftovers to take home!)

Still a four star rating, and it has gotta be the food. Today, breakfast with the wife. Her favorite, crepes(any kind, just bring it on), and I had a breakfast with poached eggs, hash browns, bacon, and toast. Just perfecto! Ambiance, probably 70’s, back in Kansas. But who’s counting. I came for a great breakfast, and they delivered. Daniel(owner guy) keeps that place humming, believe me and it shows.
