Steak ‘n Shake

My wife and I visited on a Friday night when the restaurant was very busy, probably 25% kids. Place was jumping. We were seated right away and quickly ordered, single burger and fries for me, slider size for the wife. The burgers were perfectly done, the fries the best anywhere. Everyone was having a good time, and all for less than ten dollars.
Simple food, we’ll prepared, and served with a smile. What more could one ask.

The food was good and service was awesome I went for supper one day and went back for breakfast I was staying at a hotel that was close the breakfast was so good I had no idea they had such good breakfast will go back again soon

Ok, so I ordered a chicken sandwich and the waitress brought me out a beef burger. She was a teenage and very sweet, so I didn’t want to give her trouble. I’m glad I kept the burger (it was something with guacamole and jalapeño cheese) because it was the best burger I had eaten in a long time. I love a good burger, and I had struggled to find a good one in the area while here on vacation. I was surprised I found it at Steak and Shake. I only came to the restaurant to enjoy a milkshake, but I was very pleased with the entire meal.

This particular steak n’ shake was a complete disappointment. The service was meh and so was food. I usually enjoy eating the patty melt with fries but that day, it was cold and blah.
Yeah I won’t be returning to this steak n’ shake.

Wow first time and not disappointed. Had Swiss & portabella mushroom. Yum yum great service. Great prices.

I love steak n shake & i would probably have given it 5 stars had i not received poor service by my waitress. So if you’ve ever eaten here you know how awesome the burgers, fries and shakes are! Our watress, tiffany, was really snippy and abrupt with us. It felt like she was trying to rush us with our order and I didn’t appreciate it. Then when I asked for a cup to take my shake to go she comes back and throws the cups on the table. UH EXCUSE ME?! If people are unhappy with their jobs then get anew one. If they don’t feel like being there then call in. However, PLEASE don’t bring that BS 2 work especially if you’re working for tips. The only tip she got from me was written on the receipt, «get a better attitude if you want a monetary tip from your custromers!»
