Hair Cuttery

I have had several different people do my hair at this Hair Cuttery over the last 5 years or so. Out of visiting them at least 6 times a year, I’ve only had a «bad cut» twice, and that person is no longer there.
They are professional & listen to what I want. I call ahead to make an appointment since when I go I get highlights. I have not had to wait more than about 2 minutes for my appointment times, and I appreciate that.
Crystal is fantastic, as are several of the other stylists.
Prices are competitive, BUT. i do wish Hair Cuttery would offer more coupons!

Because I like Hair Cuttery is why I am writing this less than perfect review.
While vacationing in the area and needing a cut I came across this location by accident. It was during the week and around dinner time. Only 2 stylist working, each had a client they were working on. The young girl closest to the door asked me what I was there for and then told me to take a seat. She really was not very welcoming. We assumed it would only be a very short wait because the guy’s hair looked like she had just finished cutting it. OK so now the client with the 2^nd stylist has left and she goes on to service other clients that came in to use the tanning booths. New to me at a Hair Cuttery. So now I kid you not 45 minutes later this young guy is still sitting in the chair. I finally got up and asked her did she know when she thought she would be available. I mean like this guy had NO MORE hair to be cut. She then rudely turns to me and says soon. OK so now I get it… young girl cutting young guys hair and this is going to drag out forever. So now my husband is very irritated as he is saying, the guy has NO MORE hair to cut. Plus, the stylist seems to find this all very amusing as she glances over at us a couple of times with a smirk. Now I am pissed off royally. Just my luck that a tanning client comes up to the counter with the 2^nd stylist to pay at the same time the other one is done with her marathon cut. I say to the 2^nd stylist, I would like for you to cut my hair. She says, actually it was set up for so and so to cut your hair. I say, I don’t want so and so as I have been waiting an hour for so and so to cut an inch off that guys hair. So now so and so comes over and thinks my head is now hers and the 2^nd stylist kind of sheepishly has to tell her that I want her instead. Well, as they say Karma is a bitch. The hour wait was worth it just to see the look on her face. Lets just say that the wind was taken out of her sail.
The hair cut I received was really good but the treatment received from the stylist who I was told just came out of beauty school was extremely unacceptable. She has a lot to learn about professional courtesy as poor customer service never is a reputation a business wants to have.
