Got my nails done with Christi she was fabulous! Lots of fun and she did an incredible job on a gel manicure. Only gave 4 stars because they are a bit pricier than some places, but I am very happy with her work and I will be back!

Got a «free haircut or manicure» certificate in the mail… you bet your hur-​didding behind I headed over to Styling Gallery for a much-​needed haircut!
I wasn’t sure what to expect given the lack of Unilocal reviews and whatnot (yes, I rely on Unilocal to get an idea what to expect out of businesses… sort of my way to ease the pain or hype up the place before actually going). Made my appointment on the same day and was able to come in the next hour.
I knew exactly what I wanted before coming in so I had no problem communicating it w/​my stylist– Janie (I think it was Janie! Pretty sure it was Janie. Try asking for Janie— if she doesn’t work there, my bad). «Long, blended layers, shortest layer just off my shoulders w/​side swept bangs just brushing off my cheekbones.» She did just that… without giving me crap about it! And I felt like she really listened to me because it turned out exactly how I pictured it. She also gave me some really good insight about how to color my hair— honest, down-​to-​earth insight like don’t-get-ombré-you-have-gorgeous-long-black-hair-just-get-subtle-partial-highlights. Hmmp. She had a good point!
Let it be known to all your friends that they did not wash my hair. She just rubbed some oil on it and sprayed it wet— which I wasn’t about to complain about since it was free.99. Also, I later found out it would’ve cost me just $ 20 which is less than half of what I normally pay for my extra thick, long hair. I am definitely used to getting my hair washed, scalp massaged, cut, then styled… so this was a change. But hey, I got what I paid for… which was FREE haircut! *hiiighhh fiiiveeeee (request)*
But anyway, I shall return! Especially since I have another coupon to get my nails did for half off! Oomps x 3.
