Parkers was sold in the past month to their roasters. That explains the lack of trained personnel and slow service. They all left when the manager left after unsuccessfully trying to purchase the shop. She had a loyal following among customers and staff. They all followed her out the door. We shall see how the new owner, Maddie and Bella’s do. It will take a few more weeks.

Good coffee. Crêpe is also good. Clean. Great place to hang out with friends or some times to read.

Bad service, food/coffee just ok. Had 1 poor girl in the front taking orders AND making all the coffees on a Sunday morning. She forgot about my regular coffee, but I don’t blame her she had so much to do. When I did get my coffee, there was 0 room for cream and sugar. It seeped out of the cup when I put the lid back on. Stirrers not tall enough for large cups — all my sugar sat at the bottom. They don’t take names on your orders so picking up food from the window is confusing — some man took my mom’s food before we got to the window, thinking it was his. Food was just ok, nothing special but not bad. Suggestions: Take names with orders and have the chef call them out when the order is up. At busy times, get 2 people to run the front.

In the interest of disclosure let’s start with my back ground at the shop. I worked as a bartender from May to September before moving on to another local shop because the owner was not paying tips to employees. I also will not be discussing kitchen items in this review as I lack the qualifications. I am an experienced coffee brewer, not a chef. Now, the coffee. All of the coffee is done by a local company called Maddie and Bella. Parker is not a multi roaster shop like a couple others in the area. In my experience it is mediocre coffee, and just doesn’t compare in quality to other local or national roasters. The bartenders in my experience have little to no training, and are not very good at extracting the coffee that they do have. The manual brew bar is hilariously overpriced, 6 $ for a pour over and 9 $ for a siphon, made by someone who likely has little idea what they are doing. Proper comedy. The«Hand Crafted Beverages» are crafted by hands that have no experience steaming milk or dialing in espresso shots with any accuracy. This doesn’t really matter if you are going for a quad skim pumpkin spice with whip or something just as ridiculous, but as someone who is interested in craft coffee, this reality is a bit disconcerting. There were a couple questionable business practices happening during my time there. Items on the menu would have one price, but the price in the POS that was charged to customers would be different, and every time, higher than the listed price. Some of the pastries that were being sold were purchased at Meijer, and when customers were asked where we got them from, all management would allow us to say was«they are from a local bakery». The tea that was being served was just bought at another grocery store(probably Cosco). When we served the tea, we were instructed by management to remove the tag from the tea bag so the customer would not realize that the tea they had just been served was of grocery store quality. Both of these instances are examples of a systemic dishonesty towards customers. A redeeming factor of all this is the lovely and cosy décor, and a cool location in downtown Perrysburg. In spite of what I am sure are good intentions on behalf of management, this was my experience at the company. Given these facts you can decide for yourself if they deserve your business.

Ambiance– nice clean lines and décor. Great place to grab coffee with a friend or study for school. Food– smaller menu but the food is solid. I had the breakfast sandwich and wished they would offer more options like this. Drinks-I had a latte and it was the perfect blend and came with a artesian touch. Service– they had amazing service and felt that all employees were very personable I would definitely recommend Parker to any friends dropping into the area!

Good coffee! Honestly, I feel they value the aesthetic of the coffee shop over the actual product that they make. Comfortable environment, average coffee.

This place is decent over all. However, I was not impressed with the taste of the Red Eye. It had more of a Tim Horton’s(famous for crappy coffee) taste to it. High prices are another disappointment. It is a good place to go and do homework, study, read or write. It’s a local coffee shop that needs some improvement. %20 price cut, improve the quality of coffee and espresso. Then it can be 4 or 5 stars.

Ok drinks, slow service and exorbitant prices. Cashier/barista was nice enough but gave me a look like I was lying to her when I told her she got my drink wrong. She remade it but I could have done without the look. We’ve paid less for better coffee & better service in a cooler setting in Chicago. Ever heard of La Columbe? If you want to charge those kind of prices your product and service better be exceptional.

I am not a coffee drinker, but love to go for their sandwiches and crepes. All are wonderful, and the service is extremely friendly. The ham & cheese croissant is fabulous.

Got a pretzel, tiny sandwich, and two coffees for a grand total of 24 $. Don’t get me wrong the food was excellent and came out fairly quickly, but the portions were very small for the price. The reason I am giving it two stars is because our drinks took over 25 minutes to make!

The owner claims 80% of items are organic & natural & local including their milk(see screenshots) Out & out lie. No organic milk found here even if requested. Have asked both the owner and manager where the farm fresh eggs(as per the menu) are from. Neither the owner nor manager are able to answer. Prices are different on the paper menu, the electronic menu(that hasn’t worked in 4 months), online menu, and at the register. It is hard to be charged a consistent price. Nothing is made from scratch. Hydrogenated oils and cheap processed ingredients are used consistently. There is a pour-over station set up, but no pour overs on the menu. When asked I was told that it is on their menu. However no employee has ever been able to find it listed. I inquired as to the cost. That too apparently changes with the day as it was unknown. An employee tried to check the price from another computer and said it is «$ 6-something». And yes that is a quote. So besides $ 6 being excessive, it is «6 something». I highly doubt any of the revolving door employees with minimal training even know how to make this«$ 6-something» pour-over. The owner ran a deal for free small coffee with donation to a different charity on Friday mornings. That attempt to steal charity money lasted 2 weeks & disappeared. Upon arriving the 1st ‘charity’ day there was no donation option and no mention of the charity. The 2nd week I was charged full price for my ‘free’ small coffee with the false claim that amount would be removed from the register to donate at another time. If I wanted to donate twice the amount of what the coffee regularly costs and I was charged there would be no way for them to accommodate that ‘donation’ charged sale. Crazy crooked?! The owner appears to be a scam artist. He cannot be trusted! He offers gift cards for writing reviews or for purchasing certain items(however he won’t follow through with the promised gift card). The business is always out of items, even when running a limited 3 hour special, just to lure people in with the promise of a deal-that they happen to be out of. This business needs reported to the BBB and state attorney general for scams. I hope a reputable business snatches up this location when this business ultimately fails.

Cool location, a tad overpriced though! Crepes are pretty bomb.

The food is top notch. I ordered a savory crêpe stuffed with avocado, and it was amazing-rich and flavorful without being too dense or sweet. It’s probably one of the best breakfast dishes I’ve had in a while. So why only 3 stars? Simply put, Parker is expensive and pretentious. When I first entered with my girlfriend, we were greeted by a tablet interface showing the menu. This is pretty cool, but what was less cool was the barista ignoring our inquiries and directing us to the screens instead. When we did order, I got vibes from her like I was an outsider in a place too good for me. Plus, while the system suggests a 15−25%(!) tip, Parker doesn’t even offer partial service. When your order is up, they put it out at a window in the back and you go pick it up. Nothing wrong with this model, but in retrospect, I am appalled they have the gall to suggest a 25% tip at all. On top of this, the place is already expensive. I don’t know any other cafes in the area where you could expect to pay $ 30 for two crepes and a smoothie. I actually wouldn’t mind paying extra for the quality of the food once in a while, but if I’m going to spend that much and then be asked to tip 15−25% on top, I’d at least like to be welcomed in and get some actual service.

My impression is similar to one described in another review: I wish I could love this place, but I just can’t. It’s adorable, wonderful atmosphere, lots of things that sound great on the menu. But I paid $ 10 for a small latte and a muffin, which is kinda crazy. The latte order was wrong, and it was just average in quality. The muffin was way too sweet; it tasted exactly like the ones from Starbucks. It was warm on the outside but still nearly frozen in the middle. $ 10 poorly spent.

I mean. I want to love it. I do. It is adorable. Well decorated, big city feel… with city prices. My $ 14 salad was wrong the first time I received it and instead of immediately correcting it, I was told they could just ‘add the meat’ to the salad I didn’t order. Merp. Pass. It was pretty bland, even once corrected. The latte was a perfectly acceptable price, but it tasted a bit burnt. I tossed it after drinking about a third. I stayed for about 35 minutes and watched at least 3 guests leave because they were ‘out’ of everything.(and the staff didn’t offer an alternate! Suggestive selling anyone?) I’d rather go across the street to the tiki hut coffee place.

This place is adorable, and I write this as a big city Yank in town only for a night. Well decorated and comfortable. A little small, but that’s not a crime. One of the best cappuccinos I’ve ever had. And that is saying something. The only thing I know better than bourbon is coffee. It took what felt like forever for my crêpe though. Could’ve just been that I was so hungry thus less patient. Only God knows. Definitely worth a stop in if you’re in Perrysburg.

I love the place. Privately owner non chain with a great environment, friendly service and decent coffee. They have a limited food menu but I will return and try. I had a regular coffee and it was good. They have a pretty full coffee menu but it is the environment that is wonderful. It could easily belong NYC or Chicago, but it is in downtown Perrysburg. Part of charm too is that downtown Perrysburg is beginning to have a nice atmosphere for food and shopping and people walk by and sometimes return to the place. If you like stylish cafes with decent coffee this is a good place. UPDATE I have visited a number of times and still Enjoy coming here, but the coffee quality varies as it is in carafes and not changed regularly, at least the times I have been there. I have tried food as well. The food seems a little overpriced considering taste and quantity. I still like the place but I prefer fresher coffee especially considering it costs more than competitors like Starbucks. The atmosphere is usually great, people talking in a relaxed environment, but one night they had the music up louder and played pop almost clubby music and it killed the mood. Still worth a try and not big business thankfully. Another update… After numerous visits the score is 2.8 so 3 with rounding. Its pricy for what you get, the coffee comes in paper cups which is terrible when you pay ~$ 5 for a cappuccino, and they moved the regular coffee behind the bar. Whats interesting is the tv in the café shows video of coffee/expresso pouring into a ceramic cups… but no cups in the café. Seems minor but good coffee should be served in ceramic or glass cups… not paper. And not always hot either, sometimes warm. Just had coffee at Comet in Ann Arbor and thats how its done, although that place is small they do coffee so well. Still a cool local place but note the comments.

The place is awesome! Great atmosphere and great menu! Downtown Perrysburg needed a place like this! My favorite: 2nd Street Vietnamese Steak Sandwich
