My family has been here more times than I can count over the decades so there’s a lot of experiences to draw on with this review. We’ll go with the good first… Food here is good, I’d be hard pressed to cite something we didn’t enjoy, keeping in mind of course we’re doing diner type fare. Service is always fine too, business like in that they come over in a timely manner, they smile, they bring your food, they bring your check. Now, I’ll not say«bad» but… disappointing. Over the years the portion size has shrunk, in some cases dramatically. My son-in-law ordered a daily special and received what looked to me like a child’s portion. The last time I ordered the onion rings I calculated each ring cost me .75 cents each. The coffee always tastes like yesterday’s warmed over pot no matter how fresh it is. I’d stop again knowing what to expect but the wife and kids said they’ll go to the B&B Diner down the road apiece and leave me here alone.

Great comfort food fast, served by friendly, efficient staff. My son had the western burger and said it was«heaven.» His girlfriend went with French toast and sausage and she loved it. My chicken salad sandwich was great but the fries were perfection. I’ve been eating here infrequently for 25 years, since I was a poor college student. It’s always been a good bet. Glad to support a family owned business.

Randall’s certainly helped scratch my «diner experience» itch with their large breakfast portions at very reasonable prices. This seems like an ideal place to grab a quick bite after visiting the Perryopolis flea market just across the street.

Good food, plain and simple. This the place where the food is good always. Diner/family restaurant that is local and accommodates out of towners alike. Plenty of searing and parking. Daily specials that appeal to all. Expect good service.

Randall’s is a family owned restaurant that has been in operation since 1951. It is still owned and operated by the original family. I typically pass thru the Perryopolis area 4 or 5 times a year on my way to Connellsville and I always stop at Randall’s. This restaurant is not a fancy place but serves classic diner style food or comfort food. The portions are large, the prices are extremely reasonable, the food and service are both excellent. The lunch/dinner menus include classics like meatloaf, baked ham, pork chops, fried chicken along with assorted hot sandwiches and burgers. They also have a daily special which on Sunday is Stuffed Cabbage Rolls(fantastic). Another special on my last visit was City Chicken(pork and veal on a stick). These are dishes I remember from growing up in Western Pennsylvania and are entrees not found in many restaurants. And — the only thing better than their food are their desserts — particularly their homemade pies(wide assortment). The service is always excellent and some of the waitresses have been there for years. If you’re in the neighborhood(or even close to the neighborhood) you need to try Randall’s. This is one of my favorite restaurants– I’ve been coming here 4 or 5 times a year for many years.

Great homemade soup, homemade deserts and more.
Yes, it is a local diner but the food rocks! Stopped for a bowl of soup and homemade pie. Delicious!

Cool, little, local place. Three stars for«A-OK», for what it is PROS: It’s not much to look at(inside or out), but what they lack in aesthetics, they more than make up for in friendly service, decent portions and insanely cheap prices! We felt like we stole our breakfast this morning! 2 people and our bill was approx $ 13! LOL CONS: There’s not much in the way of a menu(but I can only speak regarding breakfast! I have no idea what the lunch menu looks like). Breakfast had maybe 2 omelets(my husband had the Western and it was big and good!) on it and some other random«2 egg and _______» types of combos, but not too much. It was good though! I’d recommend it if you’re looking for something«home-y» and sort of «comfort food» like.

Cheap and good serving sizes. By no way is this a fancy breakfast place. Simple and small menu. I got an egg and cheese omlette and home fries for under $ 6. One thing to note the home fries were shredded and a little burnt so not my favorite.
