Sunscape Tanning Salon

I came in to see Dotty Mesta to have my underarms waxed. Salon is clean, Dotty is very nice and I’m looking forward to coming in again for other services.

First of all, I need to confess that I have never stopped foot in this salon. I called on Wednesday to setup an appointment for a spray tan. Someone answered the phone quickly and asked what I needed help with. Upon hearing that I wanted to setup an appointment, she put me on hold. I waited… and waited… and waited. At one point, I looked at my phone and realized the call was 11 minutes long. There is no reason to put someone on hold for ten minutes for something as simple as scheduling an appointment. At this point I hung up and called back again. The same person answered the phone and asked what I wanted. After I responded, she asked, «Oh, were you the one I put on hold? Sorry, I had a new client and I forgot about you.» Thanks for the honesty, I guess. She then informed me that their spray gun was down and they were waiting for it to be fixed. The person was coming Friday morning. My event was on Saturday and I was not interested in getting a spray tan on the same day as an event when I’ve never been to the salon before. So I asked for an appointment on Friday and she said they were completely full. I told her I would be taking my business elsewhere because it wouldn’t work with my schedule and she hung up on me.
I get spray tans on a regular basis and I will definitely not be checking this place out ever again.
