All the times, I have ordered from here, have been very good. About these unsatisfied customers, you must of had a very, very, bad day. Don’t put down the people, who do like, their food. You didn’t, they did. Nothing is in the water, the same water y’all drink. Oh, and taste buds, differ, from person to person. I’m sure, places you like, others don’t. Now, back to my review. So, driving through Perris, on a Job project, months ago, I’m from Beverly Hills, I saw this place, tried it out. Food was delicious. No complaints on the food. However, I don’t like, «cash only», I never have cash, just my company credit card. Either way, I like their food. Other places, I’ve tried, are 2 Potrillos, and Casa Jimenez. Pretty good.

Wtf!!! I don’t know where these people who rate this place 5 or even 4 stars regularly eat. This place is no where close to good. I’m sorry but if you really know what good Mexican food is, this is not the place to go. WASTEOFMYCHEATDAY! Go to La Mexicana in Perris they have good Mexican food there. Sorry…

Is there something in the water in Perris that mutates ones taste buds to make bland, dry food taste great, or did I come here on a bad day? This place is anything but deserving of a 5-star rating. If these are the best tacos in Perris, I can skip this entire town when it comes to Mexican food. I drive by this place on my way to deliver fuel to Costco in Lake Elsinore. There is a dirt lot across the street that is barely big enough to park my truck-n-trailer tanker.(I wouldn’t recommend trying to park a semi w/a 53′ trailer there) Today I had run out of water to drink, and I was hungry, so I decided to try this spot on my way back to the 215. Swung wide into the lot, and played real-life«Frogger» across the 74 on my way in. Walked in and was immediately greeted with white papers taped over what used to be tripas as a meat menu option. Booooo. But somehow Buche is still available? Buche is inferior to Tripas. Ask anybody. But I ordered some Buche tacos anyway. Some Carne Asada, some Cabeza, and a large Horchata. Whipped out my card. «Oh no, cash only, sorry». I wouldn’t normally mind, if there was even ONE sign indicating this, but no. They wait until you order to inform you, after waiting in line for a few minutes. I walked out disappointed, but still needing a beverage, I walked into the liquor store next door. No ATM here, but«cash back» at the counter. Got a quick $ 20, and came back to the restaurant. NOW there’s a line of 7 people I have to wait for. Ugh. So I waited, and got back to the counter eventually. Ordered the same thing, to-go, to which the Lady at the register apologized to me once again. She was nice about it at least, which is the only reason I gave this review two-stars instead of one. Got my Horchata right there, and stood by the front door while I waited. As I stood there, I noticed more than one table was covered in onions, cilantro, and salsa; and not one person was attempting to clean them up. Got my tacos, and quickly realized that I should have waited for my food at the salsa bar. There are lots of people getting food here, and only a tiny area to get your salsa, as well as cilantro and onion. Its like pigs at a trough trying to get your salsa, people don’t necessarily wait in line, they just go. I eventually managed to get some red sauce, and cilantro and onions for my tacos. Thoroughly annoyed by now, I walked out with my food and drink. Braved the highway again, and got into my truck. «These tacos better be worth it», I thought to myself as I unwrapped the foil. Right away I noticed that they had shorted me a cabeza taco. Oh well, I’m not running across the street again for one taco. Sprinkled the onions, cilantro, and red sauce on my tacos and began to eat in my truck. First I tried the buche. Yuck. It looks, feels, and tastes like sesos with no seasoning. The tortillas were ok, but the meat was garbage. I ate it in the hope that at least one bite would have been tasty. There was no such tastiness. Second, I tried the cabeza. I cannot fathom how meat sitting there immersed in its own fat until it is scooped into its tortilla, could come out dry the way it did. No taste. No greasiness. Nothing. I might as well have been eating a chalkboard eraser in a tortilla. How could this be? The flavor of cabeza usually just comes from its own fat. Dry AND tasteless? No bueno. At this point I was glad they shorted me a taco, as I would have just threw it out the window and poisoned the stray dogs roaming the area. Then, dare I try the Carne Asada taco? I must! It wasn’t absolutely horrible, but it wasn’t good either. It resembled ground beef, and tasted like it was seasoned with curry. Ugh. Another disappointment. I tried to wash these abominations down with Horchata, but the horchata was watered down and bland. It was like drinking the swill at the bottom of your cooler after a bbq at the park. As if they had poured me a horchata, dumped half of it out when I wasn’t looking, then topped it off with tap water from Flint, MI. Good thing I bought a Coconut Water at the liquor store to coconut water down the horchata I used to water down these horrible tacos I just ate. At this point I just wanted to leave this horrible place, so I started up my truck, watched out for unlicensed individuals flying down the road, and got the hell out of this taco forsaken town. Took a shower as soon as I got home to wash the sadness off.

Easily the best street tacos in Perris. Dollar a piece, no taxes, it’s a deal. Inside is a bit grubby, consider doing take out if you live in the area.

The adage that says«It’s good if it’s gone» definitely applies to this hole in the wall. Some of the best 99 cents tacos anywhere. They serve grilled onions and jalapeños too. Tasty refried beans and rice. Outstanding Aguas Frescas, the cucumber limeade is quite refreshing. Friendly staff and service. It is what it is. I’m sure there will be haters and whiners, there are flaws. But the prices are great, and the portions generous. It’s a locals thing, but that also means it does more than just survive. It serves.

Absolutely the best tacos for the money! I used to frequent Taqueria Los 2 Potrillos on 4th Street here in Perris, but after trying this place I won’t go anywhere else. I tried one taco of each meat(asada, adobada, buche, chorizo, and lastly cabeza), they were all really good but my favorites were hands down chorizo and cabeza. The prices were exceptionally cheap, $ 1 tacos, large guas frescas were $ 2…Omg! The music is awesome and they work fast. The cashier is a very sweet young girl, you can’t go wrong this place.

This place has the most delicious tacos! Love them! Plus the people are nice. The only bad thing I can think of is that they are sometimes out of pastor, and they only accept cash. But if they are stocked on the meats, and you have the cash… can’t find a more delicious taco!

Average tasting tacos, nothing to make you really come back to unless you only have $ 2 in your pocket. 2 Carne Asada Tacos. The meat is just ok, had some seasoning to it but not much. flavor was also just average. 2 Al Pastor Tacos. Repeat of the Asada Tacos. Tacos come on paper thin paper plates, with no toppings. Salsa bar was empty with some item, carrots, peppers. also the salsa bar needed cleaning, completely, onions, cilantro, red salsa, green salsa tossed all over the bar. please clean. Cheap Tacos $ 1.00 Can Soda $ 1.00 Total Lunch $ 5.00 only really good thing about the place.
