Popeyes

This Popeyes has always messed up on my order and they have never attempted on improving customer service. It is no wonder that overall, the rating is very low for Popeyes. I find it interesting that this Chicken Chain NEVER has chicken available and make their customers wait 15 minutes to receive their specialty, chicken at a fast-​food location. I wait for my order and they finally hand it to me, I’m not upset because they have always made me wait for the chicken to be ready. However, I ordered this family meal to go and once I get home, I discover the gravy of the Mashed Potatoes to have spilled all over the bag. Then I open the other side container and what do you guess, another order of Mashed Potatoes, plus only 11 chicken pieces instead of 12. Not only will this location make you wait a log time for chicken but get your order totally wrong. I would go and request the missing item but I live 13 miles from this location. Completely unacceptable.

Located just off the 215-​fwy on Highway-​74. Good Louisiana style chicken. The red beans & rice reminded me of the food we ate in Baton Rouge. Staff is friendly. place is kept fairly clean. love the sweet potato pie. They have solo as well as large family style meals. Love all the Cajun seasonings.

I came thru and got 2 boxes of the surf n turf biscuit fries and it was the bomb the 5 buck box is the real deal. Oh yeah they got the food out to me quick and it was hot and tasty Cajun style. Thank you Popeyes

Waited at the counter for like 8 minutes before anyone even took my order. They were out of everything. There was a 12 min wait for chicken then 8 min for mac and cheese. Were completely out of gravy. Just plain ghetto. Won’t go back there.

During the summer time, this place was full of flies. We will not be returning. There are plenty of other fly free places to eat.

So last night I came through with my husband and my daughter. I have come through before and everything was bad. But today it seemed better. Management was good and there was one young lady at the register that was quite attentive. The Spiced packed wings yummy. Keep up the good work!

As an open-​minded person, who is generally open about the types of food I eat, I hate to say that I was disappointed. From the constant commercials being played, to the billboards highlighting the food’s quality, I became quite interested in ‘Popeyes’. So I got my meal, with decent service, I drove home and opened up my box of chicken, with biscuits, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw. Starting with the chicken, it had a good bite to it, very loose yet crunchy. But sadly the chicken had little flavor, which was disappointing. The mashed potatoes had an unnecessary spice to it, which came off as surprising, and not that enjoyable. The biscuits were salty, but not overly salty, which made it enjoyable and delicious. Lastly the coleslaw was the most enjoyable thing I had, as it was not too milky, or sweet. Overall my food experience here could’ve been way better, based on all the publicity it’s been getting. But it was not bad, and some parts even enjoyable, but the fact is that this food could’ve been better, and I’m willing to give it another chance.

So i order my meal in drive through which went pretty well. I should of known it wasnt that easy. To get home to find out they forgot a couple things. I call up to tell them and they insure me they put them in the bag as if I’m lying. So I drive back down there to get my items that are missing and she insists again she put them in my bag. I said you probley put them in someone else’s bag, I dont have them. Then when I finally get home, my food is cold, hard and dryer out. I will NEVER eat there again. It was a complete waste of money! This wasn’t my 1^st bad experience but definitely my last!

You may be tired of telling every customer that your five dollar big box promotion is over and that it’s been over for two months but I don’t come here every day and you don’t need to say it in a rude way. Furthermore I was referring to a promotion that I saw on TV yesterday so take the time to listen to your customer before you chew their head off about a promotion that you no longer have or had. You are in retail, retail equals customer service if that is not your niche you may want to reconsider your position. Customer service is exactly that a service to the customer. Well I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that she didn’t tell me thank you and have a great day.

You get standard food and standard service here. If you want fried chicken or fish. Come here.

Chicken tenders are delicious BUT everytime my family & I go. there is always a wait for tenders and they usually forget the dipping sauces. Went there for lunch, ordered 9 strip meal along with 3 piece meal. got home & NO DIPPING SAUCE! Very frustrating!

I have been to this location several times. The food is generally pretty good, except for the one late night visit where I knew the food had been sitting for a while. More often than not, I am asked to pull to the front. Condiments are often forgotten (I do not know anyone that can eat a biscuit dry) and even asking for them, I still have to go inside to retrieve condiments, and even a fork in today’s case. I left with two honey sauce packets and no butter packets. I guess the honey sauce was for earlier in the week when I was not given one. I drive out of my way to go to other locations because the service here is very poor.

Came here 3 times already in the past year or so, first time they had ran out of chicken tenders. Second time they didn’t except debit cards, and today was the third time and they had ran out of sweet tea. The only reason I came back this time was because the Popeyes on iris was closed. They definitely need a new manager.

I only stopped here because Jack in the Box was packed and I forgot Subway is just across the street. One small order of their popcorn shrimp or chicken (or something like that) and I was asked to pull around to the front (no cars behind me). It ended up being about a 20 minute wait for 1 item!
To top it off, the food was disgusting. One bite and straight into the trash.

I was all set for Popeye’s fantastic chicken. I ordered a family meal in the drive through at 5:19, and was told the wait for spicy chicken was 15 minutes. I paid $ 39 and was asked to pull around front. they would being my meal in 10 min. 25 minutes later I went inside to find out where my meal was and was told it would be another 10 min. Seriously? I asked for a refund and they tried to only refund me for the meal and not the extra side I ordered. Got that straightened out… but I will never go back. Horrible customer service!

I love eating here the best chicken ever! I always get the spicy chicken wings with their Cajun fries! It’s so good! The fries are to die for! Their hot sauce on everything is Bombay! Biscuit with honey melts in your mouth!

I stopped by on my way home, first time trying it. My friend had the popcorn shrimp meal with a side of coleslaw and I had a two piece meal with the mashed potatoes and gravy, I’m crazy about seafood and fish but thank god I didn’t have the shrimp here I had a piece of shrimp off of my friends’ plate and it was horrible and really small didn’t like it at all ! The coleslaw was good and of course my meal was good I mean it was just fried chicken but the mashed potatoes with gravy were EXCELLENT ! Food portions were small if you get chicken stick to the breasts, the drumsticks are tiny ! Customer service was great, place was clean but while I was waiting for my friend to be ready to leave I did notice there were so many flies in the restaurant it grossed me out…

2 stars, came here anyways. I like to live dangerously: p jk haven’t been to Popeyes in over a year and I drive past this one every day so decided to finally stop and eat here.
When I walked in I was quite impressed with how clean the dining area was. It was also empty… but that’s besides the point. They have those fancy tv screen menus, I don’t eat fast food often, so I still get amazed when I see them. The cashier was friendly-​ish, but also kinda deaf. I swear after everything I said she was like «huh»? I ordered a 3 piece mild chicken tenders combo with mashed potatoes for my side. I’m a weirdo and enjoy those without gravy. The cashier seemed a little confused when I said no gravy but then after a few seconds it clicked.
Sat down facing the counter and stared at the tv screen menus as I waited for my food. On one screen it was raining raspberries and on another a chicken tender was being dipped in BBQ sauce… ooohh…
Somehow the lady who ordered after me got her food first, but then they called my order shortly after so I wasn’t too miffed. Everything was arranged all nice and neat on my tray. Napkins, lemon-​scented moist wipe (which smelled like dirty lemons), a little mint, a spork and my BBQ sauce, biscuit, tenders and mashed potatoes minus the gravy, just the way I ordered it: p
At first look I was a little unimpressed with my food, seemed like such a small amount of food for $ 8, but once I started to dig in I realized it was a pretty perfect portion for a small gal like me. The chicken was juicy, the mash potatoes were… mashy? jk they were good and I LOVE THIER BISCUITS!
All in all not a bad experience. Not a place I would frequent since they are a tad pricey, but good every once in awhile.

drove thru on our way home from BIG BEAR. tried Unilocal and nine POPEYE’s popped up between VISTA and FONTANA but not this one. the wife spied the sign from the 215.
not super fresh 3 WINGS and TWO-​PIECE WHITE (both with RED BEANS and RICE and a BISCUIT) but the kid’s NUGGETS were just out of the frier.
