Slow service! When I went to order they tell me that I can’t just order tostitos chips. That it has to be only tostilocos which is more expensive. Went to La Michoacana instead! They also said they bring those tostitos chips from Mexico but whatever I can find those chips anywhere.

Idk what happened but when I came a few months ago, they’d make bomb Esquites. Today I left that disgusting thing there, the girl asked if I wanted cheese, mayo, and chile; I said yes. It was caldo de elote with a tiny dollop of mayo and TAPATIO! I mean I have no beef with tapatio but never had it with Esquites. Traditionally, its powdered chili, not to mention there was no trace of cheese when I mixed it! Horrible! Learn how to make Esquites before adding them to the menu. Their prices go up yet their quality goes down.

Came here for the first time and tried the horchata and rompope ice cream and they both tasted great.

Pros: — ice cream flavors — atmosphere The items on the menu taste great, and if you’re willing to overlook some of the cons, is definitely worth it. Prices may be a little high but its quality REAL ice cream. Cons: — customer service — availability of products — menu — scoops are only served in 2 scoops and up In my personal experience here, I wanted to get a raspado de tamarindo but was told that they didnt have any raspados – a common occurrence with a lot of the items on the menu apparently. Instead i asked for 1 scoop of limon and 1 scoop of mango con chile. When i was being served i was asked again what kind of scoops i wanted and – maybe they didnt hear me? – got 2 scoops of limon. They charge an extra 50 cents for debit/credit transactions. The menu is also not entirely reliable. This place is for those with patience.

WORSE experiences ever. went 2x with my family. The guy that works there not sure if he’s an owner or employee but he is SO rude, classless and unprofessional. 1st visit, had NO corn, sandia loca or shrimp as shown on ad. 2nd time, corn was so hard. Then I asked for just 1 scoop of ice cream for my 1 year old he said NO we ONLY serve a 2 scoop minimum ??? Who saids that! So I had to paid for 2 scoops ice cream and asked for just one scoop. He is so rude and speaks disrespectfully to the customers. This place is SO overpriced and on top of that 80% of the items they have on menu they don’t have. I have also had friends go in the past and all had similar issues. This saddens me because its local but the place sucks, hope they get there act together or will lose customers.

Horrible customer service 3rd straight visit. Lady s always in a bad mood as just sighs at everything, don’t know her issue but she needs to fix it. That was actually my 3rd visit in 10 business days I’ve been working near by. Mediocre at best compared to the other 80 stores near by that sale the same stuff, besides, why would they not have Chamoy? First shop I’ve been to without it. Won’t be returning unless I hear she has a better attitude.

This place is absolutely amazing. First time I went here since moving from Texas. The ice cream and elotes were absolutely amazing as well. Customer service was great and were very patient with our decision making. Definitely a place to go.

So came in for a second visit and was really dissatisfied with the service. The flavor a I had before were still delicious but some weren’t there so I was trying to figure out what to get along with the kids we brought along. Since nothing is labeled it is a lot of asking questions and tasting; the woman that was assisting us had a really bad attitude like we were annoying her. Which I get if you get asked the same question over and aver again throughout the day but then maybe give some type of indication of what the flavor a are so we don’t need to bother you so much

This place never disappoints if you want really great flavored ice cream come here. Magoniada is my favorite thing to get here. When is hot expect a little bit of a wait and a little confusion.

Just had a mangoneada and it was the worst ever! The«fresh» mangos were mushy and the ice cream had no flavor. I don’t recommend this place at all! La michuacana is way better, should have gone there in the first place.

My husband and I stopped here casually and were more than surprised to find a new spot to visit during the summertime months. Their ice creams are made on location, they taste home made. We both ordered«3 Marias», which it looks like a sundae. It was absolutely delicious and not overly sweet. They have a wide array of delicious eats which will surely satisfy your appetite.

If it was only for ice cream it would be 4 stars. But I had to knock it down one for customer service. The ice is made fresh daily by the owner and his family, great quality for a good price as well. Very authentic! Tosticolos are made well, and the portions are generous. Fruit salads are a perfect, fresh dessert. However it was unorganized and they got our order all wrong. Also, the girls aren’t very knowledgeable about the flavors. They didn’t know how to explain what the unfamiliar flavors were and couldn’t give simple reccomendations.

They have the best mangoneada I have ever had! The fresh cut mangos with chamoy is amazing. The best part of the whole thing is the very tasty limon and mango ice cream! I have never had fresh mango with ice cream in it! This ice cream is like the ones from Mexico. Amazing! Must try!

Delicious, stopped in after reading some reviews since its down the street. Everything is fresh! We ordered a fruit bowl and the lady chopped the fruit right there. Interesting flavors, the Sundae was delicious and I defiantly will be coming back… As others said it is hot in there and it’s frustrating to have to wait for other customers but well worth it in the end!

Soooo good! I tried their mangoneada with both lemon and mango ice cream and it was really good. I’ve tried other mangoneadas at other places and this one is right up there with my fave Teresitas in San Diego. Must try :)
