La Mexicana Taqueria

Food is ok. My mom got chilaquiles and they didn’t give her sour cream. She had to ask and they wanted to charge her even though the plate comes with it.
I got a campechana and it had no avocado. The picture has avocado.
I was about to get up and ask, then I see the cashier licking her fingers while on the register. Im watching her help in the kitchen and ring up customers all without washing her hands. How is that aloud?!! I am beyond grossed out! Do not come here. She might as well lick all the plates while she’s at it…

Great chicken street tacos! My son said the bean & cheese burrito was the best he’d ever had! Authentic place. Smelled great (especially in the back where they were making the bread). Really busy, but also fast & friendly.

I’m going to start with this I order two enchiladas 3 tacos of carne asada and three tacos al pastor overall flavor wise no flavor for being a Mexican restaurant.
My wife got the fish tacos with everything and she only saw two small pieces of fish more lettuce and tomatoes then fish they’re obviously greedy on the fish. The customer service was good but not good enough to to give it more stars if you want to try some good tacos go to LA Playita bakery…

For starters, their cinnamon coffee is great! They put pieces of cinnamon sticks into their coffee maker which makes a whole lot ta-​difference in flavor; and it goes just great with all the different variety of their ‘pan dulce’ (sweet bread) …All their food is just AWESOME!
There’s nothing like Mexican food: countless choices in which ‘Mexican food’ has it’s own authentic seasoned taste that’s unmatched!

Whenever in the area, we visit La Mexicana Taqueria, and it is routinely very good. The three taco combination with rice and beans is my go to entrée. They have all of the favorites here, such as tacos, tortas, and burritos; all of which can be prepared with the meat of your choice.
Some of the meat selections include carne asada, chicken, pastor, and carnitas. The quality of food is very good and consistent. The well-​stocked salsa bar helps top off your entrée. They even have french fries, and they are the best!
My last visit was during tamale making season, and they had masa prepared for sale. I picked up thirty pounds at a reasonable per pound price. That evening the tamale production line in my house was in full force. It wasn’t long until I had the opportunity to try the masa. I must say it was the best masa I have ever had. I will certainly be making the drive back to La Mexicana Taqueria to purchase the next batch of tamales!

I got myself steak burrito with everything on it and two steak tacos for my 5 year old daughter. I must say this is far better then every mexican restaurant that i have ate. Im hooked… great family oriented restaurant. Must try!!!

Exceptional food! Our family agrees this is the place for, well, pretty much anything you could want.

Really good tacos! I had uno de asada and another of cabeza, I enjoyed there taste and the place’s atmosphere.

Best Mexican food in town California burrito is great, as well as the family packs for to go every time I go I’m never disappointed everything cooked well will continue going back

I am only basing this review on the mini tacos because that is all I ordered and this is the first time I have ever been there. First off, the restaurant is very big. A lot bigger then it appears on the outside. I also like that it was very clean. Which is important to me and why they got 3 stars instead of 2. It’s more of a fast food sit down than a restaurant, you order at a register and pay first. Then they call your number.
On to the food: So I ordered the tacos. Taco special 5 tacos for 5 dollars. I got 3 carne asada and 2 fish. The asada was alright. Nothing special, kindof dry. I expected a better taste in the meat. It was average. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t good. The big mistake was the fish. It was lightly battered and fried. Holy moly, they made sure that fish was dead. It was so beyond fried they tasted like fish chips. I have never had a fish taco where the fish was crunchy. It wasn’t good. I’m not sure if this is the style or they messed up. It was overly loaded as well. All the toppings fell out. I like stuffed but you can’t get all the flavor if all the toppings fall out. Also I didn’t think 1.99 for chips and salsa was reasonable considering you can go down the street and have them free with a order. That’s my review. I might give it a second, try not sure yet. I wasn’t impressed at all.

We come here regularly and I like the huveos con chorizo, huevo con machaca, and chilaquiles for breakfast. Another one of my favorites is the tacos dorados combo along with the filete de pescado. Weekends get busy but overall we’ve never had bad service.
I recommend never to order the fish tacos as they are horrible and too bland with no flavor.

One of my favorites in perris but they do serve alittle less than before but they are much busier than before when they were across from where they are now there food is the best i love it been coming here for years and the service is awesome and fast!!! ALSO THE STAFF ROCKS! And i have been a loyal customer because the staff is so hard working and fast and super on top of everything and yes they get very busy if they mess up a order was reading reviews then ask for a new order or correction they are so nice and will do it and make you a happy cutomer they are very good people and great food and place to eat!!!

Stopped by and had the steak nachos. They were delicious! I will make the drive to Perris again just to have more nachos.

Nothing like having bad service and food. You order your food to how you like it and what they end up bringing out is different than what you ordered. We literally got up like four times for different things they didn’t bring out. By the way it was really early in the morning hardly any customers so they don’t have an excuse.

The food was amazing, from the home made tortillas to the amazing michelada. I wish we had one of this places in Sacramento ca.

Great place in Perris to have Mexican food. The tortas are amazing with your choices of meat with beans, lettuces, mayo & hot sauce of your choice. The ll is very warm and toasted. I really recommend the Carna Asada torta. If you also love tacos, they’re very good as well. Great service and good food.

Definitely one of the Best spots to get your fix in perris witch is very limited in options. service is always quick and attentive. food is not amazing but it’s pretty good across the board. the give you fresh .Ade tortillas with your soup and they have good tortas and burritos. micheladas aren’t bad too. its open sitting so don’t be surprise you end up hunting for a table as you order at the counter and it gets pretty busy in the weekend. me a my babe got it down cause one of us orders and the other one is in charge of acomodations lol. anyway this places is good and I like it a lot.

First time visit after going to Day with Thomas the Train at Orange Empire Railway Museum.
Great tacos of all types of meat including Tripitas (ask for them bien doraditas). Rice delish. Horchata good. Pan dulce thumbs up. Tres leches cake not too fond of, definitely have had better. The service is exceptional. Smiling faces, food brought to table (Even though you don’t order at the table), waitress checked in with us a couple times to make sure everything was ok. Great salsa. They even sell mariscos here!
Con: No AC. They do have fans. A little stuffy, but in my opinion it’s worth it.

Came here before a drive to the beach. They were so friendly with my special needs son. They brought us extra tortillas and the food. The food was outstanding huevos Rancheros and eggs and ham for my son.. It felt like I was at someone’s home and they cooked especially for me :) OMG so good! A little gem in Perris CA. Don’t change!

DO NOT RECOMMEND! First of all there are two restaurants called La Mexicana Taqueria in this same parking lot. The one this map leads to is called «La Mexicana Taqueria #2» according to the sign on the building. You order at the counter from a fast food style menu board and then they bring your food out to your table. I would not call this a traditional sit down restaurant. I gave this place ONE STAR because the food was disgusting, both in how it looked and how it tasted. I ordered the chicken nachos which I thought would be impossible to mess up, but I was wrong. I’ve attached a photo of my «meal» because I think it speaks for itself.
I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISGUSTED BY A MEAL.
