If you’re ordering from the menu, you’re missing the best of what Carmine and Michelle are cooking up. The pizza is the best in the local Pequannock area — fresh crust, sweet sauce and plenty of cheese. The usual staples are great — chicken parm is tasty, meatballs are soft and delicious, and fettuccine is fresh, not dried. But the best Cosmo Bella has to offer is found on a Friday or Saturday night where regulars fill the tables and order whatever Carmine is cooking for the evening. Gnocchi with clams and mussels, pork braciole, or bucatini with string beans, just to name a few. The sauces are mouthwatering and spot on. BYOB and don’t be afraid to share.

How can people call their food awesome? Mediocre at best. Pizza is eh. Best thing oddly enough was chicken soup. Meatballs we ok but nothing special.

I know that this is a local favorite (and my father-in-law’s) but I personally don’t feel the pizza is as good as it was in the past. The food is filling but only okay. We’ve had food catered from here and I’ve been disappointed. Prices are pretty good and they do try to be accommodating as best as possible.
