The Heritage Trail is an old railroad that’s been converted into a crushed gravel hiking and biking trail. As you’d expect, it’s very flat — easy to ride, but not much of a challenge for serious mountain bikers. The trail is 26 miles long and stretches between Dubuque and Dyersville. A great place to take a leisurely bike ride or stroll. Keep an eye out for the old concrete milage markers from the railroad!
